@lhernandez790 I'm with you on worrying about the wait! I have my first midwife appointment on the 31st & in the meantime I need to figure out if I can get a referral for an ultrasound (I'm waiting for a family doctor... just relocated). We can worry / be excited together
Hubby & Me: Born 1993 Married: August 2013 Son: December 2018 Baby in heaven: February 2020, was due Sept
I found out April 20th at exactly 4 weeks I was expecting. My due date so far is Dec 28 2018. My dating ultrasound is this Friday May 11. I'm very excited but very nervous as well.
I have 4 living children ages 14,12,10,4. This will be my 10th pregnancy. My last pregnancy I lost my son at 17 weeks. Hardest thing I have ever been through. Im paranoid that It will happen again.
So far this pregnancy I have just been a bit more tired and sore boobs. My clothes are a bit tighter but no morning sickness or anything outstanding. Today I'm 6 weeks 1day. I'm excited to join everyone on this fun amazing ride!
Hello! My husband and I just found out we are pregnant and estimated to be due on December 15th based on my LMP. This is our third pregnancy, but the last two ended in MC due to my diabetes not being controlled. I'm so nervous as heck about this pregnancy. Luckily I have been more cautious and have had my sugars in better standing since. I can't wait for that first ultra sound to see how far I really am and to see a healthy jelly bean!
At 17 I was diagnosed with PCOS and was warned about the difficulties my fertility would bring. At 22 and with my first husband we had the aid of Clomid and great medical care have my daughter. So I was very surprised being 30, that my last two pregnancies and this one happened without fertility aids.
I just want to say congrats to all mommies and future mom to be for your wonderful blessings!!
I am a mom of five who will be 43 in October. I am divorced and my boyfriend is 47. We found out we were expecting! Due Dec 25. We r getting married May 27.
@twolips18 Welcome! I am due 12/29. Not far behind you. I also got my BFP on 4/20. Just a heads up, when mentioning a loss or something sensitive, please put a trigger warning as to not upset someone. That being said, I am SO SORRY for your loss.

HI everyone, I'm back for a little bit of support and knowledge. You can see from my siggy that I battled years of infertility. I did have two successful FETs and have two beautiful daughers (3.5 and 1.5). Well, after all of that, SURPRISE, i'm pregnant! My last two pregnancies did not come without complications so I am quite fearful. Blood clot with DD1 and subchorionic hematoma, valementous cord insertion and placenta accreta with DD 2.. whew, so i'm nervous about having the accreta again.. mine wasn't terrible, just took about an hour to get the placenta out and i bled out quite a bit. but, my pcp just did blood work and my hcg was 17,000 at 6 weeks and my progesterone was 13.2. I am not knowledgeable with natural pregnancies. have any of you had your progesterone tested? My RE always liked mine to be above 20 and although it never was, I used suppositories with both successful pregnancies until 13 weeks. EDD 12/25/18

My daughters were born in October and November so either my husband gets bored around the same time or we were just destined to get closer to Christmas! I'll be induced at least a week early so hopefully that helps a little! I'd much rather push it back to after Christmas! Hopefully that works for you.

hello! This is my first pregnancy and my husband and I are so excited! My estimated due date is December 30th, which makes me 6 wks and 1 day today. Since I was on femara for my pcos, I am getting an early ultrasound today! Praying for a healthy baby and hoping to see a heartbeat today. Best of luck to all you Christmas mommas out there!
Hello! I am new here. At the moment my due date is 12/20. But I have my first US in a few days! So we will see if that changes. Super nervous this time around because I am 38. I have a 10year old and a 5 year old. I wasnt nervous with either of them. Cant wait to get to know everyone!!
Hi all, STM here with a 2.5 yo son. My estimated due date is 12/14. I was definitely surprised with my BFP as i just went off the pill the end of February. It took us about 9 months to get pregnant with our son so this time I didn't expect it to happen this fast. My biggest concern is how my son is going to handle the baby, he is definitely a mommas boy and doesn't like to share me at all right now.
Hello everyone! First pregnancy. Due about Dec. 23rd. Friday is first official OB appointment and ultrasound. Scared, unprepared, and unsupported. Accidental pregnancy. I cried the entire day after I found out. Initially, my SO was extremely supportive and reassuring, but as time has gone by, he's become distant, resentful, and unsupportive/unempathetic. We are in our early 30s, and though unmarried, have been together a very long time. His reaction was the opposite of mine: I was terrified and upset at first, but I'm starting to get excited and looking forward to motherhood. My family is very traditional, so I fear they may not be supportive either when I finally tell them. Feeling lost, alone, and uncertain as I enter this uncharted territory.
@scaredunprepared Congratulations! Being a parent is scary and all of he hormones make it harder to cope. Hopefully your ultrasound will help you to get more excited. Good luck!
@scaredunprepared welcome to the community! There are women on here from all sorts of backgrounds, some first time moms, others second time moms, and more. What I love is that everyone is so encouraging and supportive of each other. I am sorry that your SO seems distant, hopefully he is just mentally transitioning and will come back around.
@scaredunprepared Welcome! Is there anyway your SO would want to go to your appointment or you would want him to go? With my first pregnancy my husband was in shock until he heard our babies heartbeat. Even with this pregnancy waiting for the official appointment, it doesn’t feel real at times and I think that’s what let’s all the worries about the future creep in. Sending good vibes he comes around soon!!
@scaredunprepared Hello and welcome! I'm sorry you are feeling so scared. For what it's worth, I think a lot of women has feelings like that even with planned pregnancies. Hopefully after you appointment they will subside and you will start feeling more content. I'm sure your partner is having the same feelings you are and maybe this is just his way of trying to deal with it? I hope he snaps out of it soon though.
I think you will find a lot of support here if you decide to stick around. I've been here maybe a month and this community already has been so valuable to me.
@scaredunprepared Welcome! I’m sorry your SO isn’t as supportive as you’d hope right now. People (moms and dads) can run the whole gamut of emotions about a pregnancy, sometimes at once.
When I got pregnant with my first, I was completely freaked out and panicking - “oh no what have we done, we’re not ready!” And that’s when I ostensibly was ready and trying to get pregnant. It’s more complicated when it’s a surprise and you haven’t had a chance to come to terms with it yet.
As @hkom and @LLynde5 said, sometimes it helps to have you SO at the appt with you — it makes it more real and helps to start to connect to the tiny human you are growing. And we’re here for support!
Hi ladies! STM here with an EDD of 12/28, so just shy of 7 weeks. I'm glad to see that there are at least a few other late December due dates so that we won't be all alone in here! I'm getting an ultrasound done on Thursday and am hoping to hear the heart beat! I have a 3 year old and was in the M15 BMB last time, so it's been a while but I am so looking forward to sharing this journey with y'all! *TW* cautiously posting since I have PCOS and have miscarried twice, but I just have a feel really good about this pregnancy. *TW end*
Welcome @tunnel52 ! I’m another late Dec due date 12/27, so yeah, there will be a few of is here cursing the last weeks while the early Dec ladies are snuggling their babies.
@tunnel52 Congratulations! I am due 12/31, so right there with you. I’m hoping for the tax deduction and to keep the pregnancy and delivery on the same deductible & out of pocket.
@scaredunprepared I am so sorry you're lacking the support and empathy you need right now. He is probably just scared and with time will come around. It takes two to get pregnant, it's not like this is YOUR fault. Definitely stick around because this group is very supportive and it will help out a lot.
@tunnel52 Late EDD here too! December 29! I have a feeling I'll end up with a January baby as DS was 4 days late.

Brand new to this so haven't figured out the tagging yet, but I just wanted to say thank you all so much for your support and encouragement. I am hopeful too, that SO will come around with time. He is coming with me on my first prenatal appointment on Friday. I'm happy to have joined this community and I can already tell what a wealth of knowledge you all have to share! Thanks again.
STM due on 12/16! I've been super lurking so I feel like I know all you ladies already, but I wanted to make sure everything was looking good on the ultrasound before jumping in! DS will be 2 in June, my husband and I are celebrating our 4 year anniversary this month, and we have two pups that drive me crazy!
Hello everyone! My due date is 12/6. We had our first appointment yesterday. That wait after BFP to the 1st appointment is anxiety inducing! But, we saw our little gummy bear. It was moving and dancing for us.
Hi all! I’m an almost 38 yo w/a 2 yo DD (also from Feb16 group) & I’m 7 weeks along. I’m so happy it took us only 3 mo to conceive as last time it took 11 mo with some losses. I’m due late Dec this time—the due date calendar says 12/26 but we’ll see what my OB says in 2 weeks at my 1st appt. I have long cycles but hoping not to go into Jan! Feeling bloated and sick pretty much everyday now. And I’m eating carbs like crazy.
Hello everyone! My husband and I got our BFP back in April! Just had my first OB appt and ultrasound yesterday. I was demoted from 7 weeks to 6 weeks because baby is small. I'm very excited and my new due date is December 30th
