    @artemis618 I'm glad to see your update and Fx for another great result on your next beta.
  • @ndz2018 exciting!! I’m gonna be jealous of your estrogen high!

    @dragonette505 True. We get so many questions when with family, it's like learning another language to them. I only wish I had written down things as I went along so could dig into the emotional side a little deeper.

  • @kristimh80 I think once you start writing, the feelings will flow with it. I say go for it!!!
  • @J1006 yay that your dh will be at transfer! I think mine is going to work from home after transfer (that’s what he did last time) but he was still able to fetch and carry for me lol, not that I really need it! I’m pretty bad with needles (I tear up most times just giving blood) so obviously this whole process has been a pill lol

  • @dragonette505 GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR PIO TONIGHT!

    @J1006 I’m so happy your Dh will be with you on transfer day!

    @tosh24 That’s awesome your lining sounds perfect to me!! Less than a week to transfer!!

    @morganelizabeth123 Happy Transfer day!

    Ok , so my clinic just called and they were getting some more information from me and my stomach just dropped.. they were asking the specifics and said “ just want to confirm that we will be doing a single embryo transfer and if the male embryo doesn’t survive the thaw we’ll be using a female, correct?” IDK why but that made me feel sick to my stomach. I knew in the back of my mind he may not survive the thaw but I feel that It became real when she said it out loud. I agreed 1 Bc I only have girls left and 2 because first and foremost I want a baby. She said she will call back with instructions in a bit but i have not doubt it’ll be 2 Estradriol to start and after next monitoring 3.
  • @ndz2018 so excited you get to start estradiol! Transfer day will be here before you know it!  <3
  • @ndz2018 wow. They have no bedside manners. I think my office makes us sign a form, but they don’t reiterate it out loud. Don’t worry, though. I think there’s a high success rate of embryos surviving the thaw...like 90%. Your boy will be fine.  <3<3
  • J1006J1006 member
    @morganelizabeth123 GL today!!

    @ndz2018 i agree with @alfieb-2. Like we don’t have enough to worry about! Mine is in the consent form but my doctor didn’t read it to us. We had to unthaw ours once already to redo the PGS testing. Our embryologist said if they are high enough quality to transfer they are strong enough to survive a thaw as long as it’s done correctly. Your baby boy will be just fine!

    @tosh24 yay! So exciting. So many transfers this week!
  • @alfieb-2 and @J1006 Thank you guys that made me feel much better! They just called and 2 Estradriol twice a day... back for morning monitoring Thur. Tentative transfer May 6th I’ll speak to my nurse this week and confirm!

    You guys your transfers are so close! This is all happening!!
  • Happy transfer day, @morganelizabeth123!!  Hope all goes (or went) perfectly :)

  • @kristimh80, blog sounds like a great idea. I once thought I would do a food blog cause I love to cook and ...eat...but never could find time. It's a great way to let others have more knowledge. I for one learned more from you guys and blogs than I did for ok m NY clic or RE!

    @alfieb-2, that's great that your numbers doubled.
    I have an appointment tomorrow. Will keep you guys updated.

    @tosh24, that clinic sounds very blunt! If it was already in the consent...why keep saying it! It's great you finally have a transfer date!
  • I'm so sorry @kristimh80  Take care of yourself - sending you [[hugs]] <3

    Ladies who are taking their PIO themselves? I’m going to ask tomorrow when I got to the doc. My ass is all bruised up from my husband helping me. He doesn’t look when he injects and it gets shoved farther in ugh.  I thought I had this crap in the bag since I'm use to always doing my shots alone the past 7 years but for some reason this is diff. Even my trigger I broke down into two shots so I could do myself and use a smaller needle. This time no go. Nothing would come out of the tiny needle and either my ass is too fat I can't maneuver holding and sticking my own butt.  :D Then he leaves for the week tomorrow morning so I need to find the best way to do the thigh which totally freaks me out.

    Married: 5/09 ~ TTC Since: 10/10 ~ PCOS ~ Progesterone from 10/10 - 2/11 ~ HSG on 3/18 - Clear ~ Started Metformin 1000mg & Clomid 50mg 2/11 ~ Metformin upped to 1500mg 4/6 ~ 6/7 Now going to SG and put on Clomid, Ovidrel, Gonal F, Prometrium, Estrace ~ IUI #1 7/2 = BFP!!!!!! March 6th our little man was born.

    6/17/13 - Ovidrel, Follistim, Prometrium ~ IUI #1 7/2 = BFP! March 17th our St. Pattys day baby arrived

    10/29/17 - Started process for IVF, got pregnant & miscarried a 2nd time since summer. 2/22 started stims - Menopur, Gonal F, Cetrotide - retrieval 3/6 - , PIO, estrace 3xday - FET 4/18 = Beta 1: 616; Beta 2: 1342 = BFP

    mcgeeva At my clinic they give us these vids to look at, and the nurse says if you really cant do your own in the butt you can try the leg (but its more painful). Maybe you can *try that?

    @dragonette505. I have to get working on my Netflix list for transfer day.
    @kristimh80. I think you would be really good at doing a blog

    i started the prometrium vaginally today. They are just too much fun. I had trouble sleeping last night. I think it was partially anxiety and partially loud winds
  • shae44 ugh... leakiness sux! Hopefully now that you've started some of the anxiety will subside
  • @dragonette505 thank you! I will def try that. Yeah sorry I'm not a contortionist

  • mcgeeva  lol... I know! I also think my hand may not be as steady as that girl... the way she darted that in! lol
  • @mcgeeva I did mine myself. Always used a heating pad on the area, then used it to heat up the oil in the syringe so it went in a little faster. If you do it yourself, it's easy to stand in front of a mirror, but take the weight off the leg / side you're going to inject :)
