I finally got a positive test on Tuesday (3 days after missed period), after 2 negative tests last week. My EDD is 12/15. I have an 8 year old son and a 6 year old daughter. My goal this week is to find an OB, because the OBs I've used are now retired.
Hello everyone! Congrats on your baby beans! I'm relatively new to TB. I've been lurking on both the Nov and Dec birth month clubs b/c my due date is either Nov. 30 or Dec. 1. Right now I'm 6 weeks 5 days. I'm 33 and a FTM! DH and I have been TTC for over 6 years and have struggled w/infertility. We did a FET on March 14th, and got our BFP via a beta test on March 28! We're so excited!!!! I had my first US last week and we saw the gestational sac and the yolk sac. We go back next Tuesday, the 17th, for our next US to hopefully see our gummy and the heart beat!! FX for a sticky baby and that I'll get to continue on this journey with all of you!

Hi all! We have been trying for 10+ years and have never gotten a BFP. I have taken 10 tests in the past 2 days just to confirm! Ha. Our due date is 12/13. I'm trying to stay calm and just survive the next several weeks until we are out of the scary weeks. I'll be 35 later this year. We adopted 2 boys over the past few years and thought we were happily complete. I've always been told that it will happen when we stop trying... I now know that to be true! Congrats to everyone.
Yay!!! I’m finally able to post!! Hi everyone, my name is Faith! I just found out I’m expecting my 2nd child December 17. My first just turned 7 so I feel like this is all new to me again. I’m so excited for this journey and to meet my little one and I look forward to growing friendships with all of you.
Congratulations to all of you! I'm Sam, all the way from France . I'm 31 and got my BFP last Sunday! Based on my LMP, my EDD is December 17th (@faith0222 due date twins!). I've been married for 1.5 years with DH and this will be our first child . My first ultrasound is scheduled on April 26th. I'm quite new around here, I've discovered the app in January. I'm so excited to chat and bond with you guys. And I'm also nervous. Very nervous. *TW start* My first pregnancy, back in January, didn't go so well. I ended up having an early miscarriage . *TW end* But I'm choosing hope!
EDIT: Forgot to mention that I have UC (Ulcerative Colitis, an auto-immune disease) and will have to stop my main medication all through my pregnancy, so I'm a bit nervous about that too! Usually UC symptoms tend to be rare during a pregnancy.
Hello! I'm a 34-year-old second time mom (fingers crossed). I just had a positive test on Tuesday and I think my due date should be December 18. My husband and I have a 20mo old son and had hoped to get pregnant this year, but the plan was to start trying in the fall or winter. But here we are! Now that the surprise has worn off, it's very exciting.
I wouldn't have planned it quite this way because we're leaving on an extended overseas trip this weekend. My doctor won't see me until after we get back (first week of May), so it's a bit of a waiting period to get reassurance that things are looking good. Bizarrely, this is exactly what happened when I was pregnant with my son two years ago, down to the week. Crazy coincidence. Anyway, if it's anything like last time, at least the vacation will make the tick tock go faster until my first appointment.
I was an active lurker (sorry!) on the August 2016 board with my son, but I sort of regretted not participating because we're the first of our friends to start a family. It would have been nice to know ("know") some people in the same stage. Trying to jump in this time around.
Hi everyone! I live west of Houston. I am a teacher. Currently I teach 5th grade, about to move up to the junior high. I have one son, he is 18 months old. My husband is a Mechanical Engineer.
I took a pregnancy test on 4/8 and had a super light plus sign. Took a few more over the next few days and yep I am pregnant! Haha! My EDD is 12/18. I am so excited! We are hoping for a girl, but of course will be thrilled either way!
I can finally introduce myself, yay! (That 72 hour wait, man!)
Hi everyone. Congrats on all your BFPs. Here's my three word story: infertility, pregnant, finally.
I'm from the Boston area. Hubby and I have been trying via IVF for almost 4 years because Endometriosis destroyed my tubes and they had to be removed. We are finally pregnant, found out 1 week ago today when my first ever faint line showed up on a FRER. It got progressively darker and then RE confirmed with beta HCG test yesterday. So excited to have finally made it to this point...but it also feels surreal. EDD is 12/18 and it could be twins. We transferred two for the first time ever. Ultrasound won't be until about 9 weeks. So, just like with infertility, more waiting. Lol.
So glad to meet you all! Look forward to having some ladies to share this experience with!
Hi everyone!! I'm pregnant with my second child after trying for just shy of a year. I just found out yesterday! My edd is dec 18. First appointment is may 9. Congratulations to everyone. I can't wait to go through this journey with all you ladies!!!! ❤❤
Happy Friday, ladies! I got my BFP yesterday morning at 10 dpo, which is the earliest I’ve ever gotten a BFP. My DH and I live in Denver with our almost 2 year old DD (May 16), 2 St. Bernard’s and 1 fat cat. **TW** I experienced a loss at 8 weeks in February, so I’m super nervous to be here, but so happy and excited. Needless to say, I’ll be kickin it on the PGAL thread! **END TW** According to my LMP, I’m due on 12/20, but we’ll see if that changes at my appointment on 5/2. Happy to be here with you all! ETA So happy to see some familiar names from TTGP and the IF success stories just make my heart so dang happy!!
Hey! Received my first positive on Easter Sunday! Which made it special. I have one other that is 20 months. Waiting for my first ultrasound on April 19th!!! So excited.

Welcome!! Might I suggest changing your screen name over on the Knot? That way we can tag you better you may have to log out and back in on the bump after changing your name.
Hello everyone! I got my bfp a couple weeks ago and I recently (4/12) had my first prenatal appointment. Although I delivered a boy 11 years ago, I'm going to be a first time mom when this baby arrives. I also had a miscarriage at 20 weeks and that was 4 years ago. That has me a little worried but my appointment helped me relax a little because everything is all good so far. I am also going to be moving from California to Colorado very soon because that's where my Honey lives. Nice to meet you all and hopefully this community is a good fit for me because I'd love to socialize with other women who are going through pregnancy with me.
@jerisa Welcome! I’m so sorry for your loss. I’m glad to hear your first appointment went well...that reassurance is nice, isn’t it?! Where in CO are you moving? I’m in North Denver.
So glad I finally get to post with other people expecting in a December so I don’t feel so alone! Congrats to everyone so far! I'm Cindy, all the way from lil old New Zealand I'm only 21 and got my BFP last Sunday which was awesome but quite a shock to me at the time, I think I cried for half an hour! I’m about 5W alone today and my EDD is the 16th of December, so could be possible to have a Christmas baby My boyfriend and I have only been together for a short time, but we’re both pretty excited for what the future holds, but just both feeing a little daunted since we are so young and we’re a bit worried what people will think My first ultrasound is booked for the 23rd of April at which point I should be 6W+1D (based on my LMP). I’m pretty nervous but excited because I think they’ll just be getting a more accurate gestational age and making sure there’s a lil baby in there! More than anything though I’ve been feeling a little gross in my own skin, I’m already so hungry and tired all the time now but more than most times, I feel so excited
@jerisa Welcome! I’m so sorry for your loss. I’m glad to hear your first appointment went well...that reassurance is nice, isn’t it?! Where in CO are you moving? I’m in North Denver.
Thank you for the warm welcome, Miss! The reassurance was great! I'm moving to Denver, close to aurora. My side of the street is Denver but when you cross, you're in Aurora lol. How close is that to you?
@jerisa I go to the Women’s Health Group up in Thornton. My best friend does ultrasounds there and I received nothing but great prenatal care with my first and during my MC in February. If you go there, though, you’d have to deliver at North Suburban, which wouldn’t be super close to you.
Hello everyone! I’m 35 y.o. and a FTM. We’ve been trying for over 2 years and I got my BFP last weekend! I’m so happy to be here! My EDD is December 14.
Hello! I got my BFP a few weeks ago. I have been lurking on here this whole time, but didn’t want to introduce myself yet as I’m really cautious. I had a MC in December, so I have been very nervous with this one. I will be 7 weeks tomorrow. I already have a 2 year old daughter.
I’ve been lurking this board a couple weeks in the hopes that this cycle works out, and I got a bfp this morning. I’m joining here pretty early. My edd is 12/26.
****TW, m/c, babies**** This is my 2cd pregnancy. The first one was unexpected and it ended as a mmc in 10/16. It took a while for us to get over that and decide to officially try. Between then and now one of my sisters & SIL had babies (within days of each other), and my other SIL is due for her first 2 days short of a year from my old due date. I’m really hoping this baby stays. ****end TW****
Hi all! First time mom here! I will be thirty years old in two weeks. I’ve been married for a little less than a year a half and I am due on December 16th. I found out at 3 weeks two days that I was pregnant so this pregnancy already seems so long! I have my first appointment on 4/23. No morning sickness yet, but bloating and fatigue have definitely settled in. Excited to share this experience with you all!
Hi all! FTM here. I’m 34 and my husband and I have been trying for a year and a half now. We received our first positive beta following our first cycle of IVF yesterday after a **tw** heterotopic miscarriage day in December and a surgery removing my right Fallopian tube**. Super excited but anxious. We have two more tests before our RE gives us our “official” congratulations. Our EDD is 12/21.
Looking forward to sharing the next months getting to know you all!!!
I'm 5 weeks today, after having tried for 9 months for my second. We had an early miscarriage in September, and I'm hoping this goes better. I haven't setup an appointment with my family MD yet, mostly because I haven't had a private moment to call the office during working hours. I look forward to getting to know you lovely ladies over the next 9 months!
Got my BFP yesterday!! Had a weird journey to a positive reading. Took a Walmart brand test... says results in 3 minutes, do not interpret after 10m. When 3 mins were up, I got mad and tossed it in the trash. A couple of hours later I returned to fume about it, and it was a pretty clear positive. I thought maybe evaporation line because so much time had passed. Peed on another one in the am. BFN at the 3 minute mark. At 9 minutes, a very faint positive. So I bit the bullet and bought a First Response and bam! Under 30 seconds double lines!!
my husband and I have a 5 1/2 year old currently. We are both pretty nervous to be starting over again, but getting excited! I am a high risk OB sonographer. I love my job!! I (previously) loved to drink wine, I love to go out to eat at new restaurants, hang with friends and hike/camp when the weather allows. Excited to get to know you all.
I just found out I’m pregnant with number 2. I’m applying to medical school this summer so this is definitely a surprise for me. I’m happy to be rejoining the bump community
Hi everyone! I’d like to add myself to the December baby group! My EDD is Dec 14th and this is miracle baby #2! My son is 14 months. It took us almost 3 yeas to have him, multiple fertility treatments and ultimately 2 rounds of IVF. We were just gearing up for an embryo transfer and I had all my medication to start. But instead I got the shock that it happened naturally!!! We are still shocked and very cautious but God willing we will have this baby!!
Hubby and I have been trying for 2.5 years and did one round of Clomid in March. On April 6th, I took a test and got a positive with a faint second line. I called our infertility nurse right away and they had me go in for blood work. My hcg was 17, they called and set up blood work for the 10th since I did get an early positive and we also had an early miscarriage last February. I took a digital test a couple of days later and in less than three minutes got the Yes. Blood work on the 10th, my hcg was 122 and the doctor put my on Progestegrone. Set up blood work tests for the next two weeks and May 1st is our first ultrasound and prenatal appointment. EDD is December 18.
I am 41 and we are so excited that our family is finally growing.
