@doxiemoxie212 - At our last house we didn't have a dishwasher. Between dishes, baby bottles, pump parts, etc. whenever DH did the dishes he got rewarded. LOL

Guys, I just looked up the zodiac sign for the week when I think my C-section will be scheduled. They are going to be Geminis. Holy sh*t! Twins that are Geminis...I'm in way over my head here!
ETA: I'm now Googling the relationship between Geminis and Leos...I have entered a rabbit hole.
I'm on the Bump on my PC (using Chrome). It used to be that when I got to the bottom of the page there was a link for June 2018 and I could click on that to get back to the main page. Today, it's gone, so I have to either hit "back" or scroll back up to the top of the page to hit the link there. Weird, and annoying.

@LaceyBee522 haha if you want me to do their alleged charts, PM me. (And anyone else? I do astrology charts for fun. I've probably done like 500 or so at this point?) Also I'm a leo too!
Well, at least it's not just my computer being wonky @dinodna3 and @LaceyBee522. But the Bump Gods better bring it back!

@doxiemoxie212 Seriously? That is very cool! After they are born I might hit you up for that!! I'm painfully Leo, like I check ALL the boxes (good and bad). It is a wonder I have any friends left some days...
@LaceyBee522@doxiemoxie212 +1 for Leo. So is my BF. And we are both painfully Leo's as well. Lol Sure makes it interesting sometimes. We once had a very stubborn conversation about which one of us was the most stubborn. You can already guess how dead end that road was.
@doxiemoxie212 that is so neat that you do astrology charts. It has always fascinated me, but I've never buckled down to dive into it.
@LaceyBee522 I got into it when I was 12 and was just something I picked up really easily. I don't have any idea why I'm better at it than most, just one of those things I retain information for really easily. I have a weird thing with birthdays -- like, without trying, I still remember everyone's birthday from my 44 person class in elementary school. Why? Who knows.
My whole chart is split Leo/Aquarius so everything sort of blends down to a muted space, if that makes sense, since they're opposites. I'm super excited baby will be a gemini because I'm chatty AF and so is DH, and I would be bummed to have a kid that wasn't interested in connecting verbally.
(Also, PSA, to anyone reading this, I would just like to say I do not in any way believe astrology can predict anything substantial. ie, horoscopes are utter bullshit. You can maybe say something like, "XYZ is going to stress you out for these 6 months based on this transit," but that's super general. Like, I'm talking categories like "sex" or "creativity" or "career." And not that anything bad is going to happen, just that you personally might perceive it as more stressful than it was before/after that transit. Astrology should purely be a way to impersonal way to take a step back and evaluate your positive and negative attributes, ideally so you can become a more well-rounded person.)
Okay so also +1 for Leo over here... (up to 5 now?) And definitely having a Gemini baby. Would love me some insight! And I have always wondered on a few rising signs and moons....

I'm here to interrupt all you Leos with a Pisces! Married to a Pisces, and our boys will be Capricorn and Gemini (assuming things go to plan). I have no idea what this means.
Also, I don't know if it was just a typo when you said you "don't really astrology," @dinodna3, but I really like the idea of "astrology" as a verb. You know, just over here, astrology-ing the day away...

@MoonOverGoldsboro Haha, definitely left out the word “do”. I meant to say I don’t really do astrology. Meaning I’m not into it. I’m the worst at typing on my phone.
@doxiemoxie212 That is really cool. I find astrology so interesting.
Whether you astrology or not, can we all agree that mercury in retrograde right now is THE WORST?! I want to lock myself inside my house until it goes direct. It seems worse than usual.
@krashke MH is a cancer, and I am thrilled baby will not be one lol. Obv IDK what else is going on in YH's chart, but for mine, he's just so fucking sensitive, my cold heart can barely handle it. Like, if I compliment him on an outfit, his response isn't, "Oh thank you." His response is, "You didn't compliment my outfit the last 4 days, you must have hated those outfits. Now I feel bad." But I'm the only one who knows/deals with how sensitive he is. Everyone else thinks he's this impermeable, emotionless void. Although, that's not really true anymore. I blow his spot up too much telling everyone how much he cries, and now that he's realized no one thinks he's less of a man for crying so much he owns it a lot more. ...but I also think he cries even more, so...
I think all our babies will have Venus in Cancer, though, so I guess there's no way I'm avoiding the sensitivity gene.
I am a Virgo, MH is a Cancer. Baby could either be a Gemini or Cancer. I'm not sure we could handle a Gemini based on our two signs.
Omg. You're same as us! I'm Virgo, my H is Cancer. Likely LO will be Gemini. Taurus if she's too early because 37 weeks is just around the end of Taurus
edit depending on the day, the moon sign could be helpful but Virgo vs Gemini is better than Cancer vs Gemini
I'm a Taurus, as is DS1. DH is a Leo. DS2 is a Virgo. This LO may be a Taurus as well if I'm induced early. I can't imagine 3 Taurus' in the house. DS1 and I are so stubborn. Also, I don't follow astrology at all considering I had no idea what sign DS2 was - I had to look it up just now. LOL.
Growing up, my dad and I were Taurus' and my mom and brother were Geminis. Lots of birthdays all clumped together.

DD1 and I are both Cancer and DH and DD2 are/will be Geminis. I don't know anything about Gemini properties (maybe I should read up?) but for the most part I think I fit the bill of a cancer pretty well.
I would love to know how my rising signs and moon may play into modulating my Leo-ness... I think I have some Cancer and Libra, but that is just conjecture.
DH is Capricorn. DD is Libra. And this one will most likely be Gemini. And well, I have had my challenges with Gemini friends over the years... they run hot and cold... and one I had to cut off as she is the angriest, most ragey Yoga teacher I have ever met. (nama -STAY!) I have a hard time with the dichotomy of the personalities of the Gemini's I know... So tad worried how I will deal with raising one!!

@kmurdock925 again, chart, especially moon sign, are equally important to sun sign, but the basic of gemini is that they're little trivia minds, they're chatty, they get a reputation for being two-faced mostly because they like to talk about all kinds of information which can lead people to believe they're different people around different people, but I don't really see the problem with that. IDK, I like geminis. I guess another trope would be that they're the kid asking, "But why?" over and over.
@rnielsen321 I lol'd at the angry, ragey yoga teacher. Definitely ironic.
@doxiemoxie212 MH is definitely the more sensitive one of the two of us and also not very communicative, neither am I. We are both more particular and controlling. I'm not sure we could handle the free spirit of a Gemini. I'm not sure I could handle all the chatting.

I'm a Taurus in a sea of Sagittarius's. My husband, son, FIL, grandfather, and sister are all Sag's. I don't know much about Geminis or Cancers. I need to look them up.
@krashke I think you'd (ETA: you and LO) bond in different ways over the love of information, though I suppose the method of sharing might be annoying for one/both of you. Like, you definitely like data, and you like research, but I'd guess it's more of a solo project? Or a productive project in the sense that you like to have something tangible at the end. A gemini just likes gathering the information, and then typically sharing it like a little trivia robot at odd intervals. (I am more in the gemini category because I have a fair amount of 3rd house stuff in my chart.)
For those who don't have Gemini's, I've been asking a friend of mine - who's oldest was born June 6th - and she said she fits the typical Gemini traits. Stubborn like Taurus but can change moods fairly quickly {Gemini = the twins}
I feel so lame. DH is out with a bunch of people for a late dinner and drinks. And I’m sitting at home in the bathtub with an Odouls even though we had my mom to babysit tonight. He said he completely understood that I didn’t have the energy to go out after a long workday. How’s everyone else’s Friday night?
