Hello everyone. Got my BFP last week. I am 36 and DH is 41 this is baby #5 for us. (16,14,9 and 1) I am super excited and a bit nervous. My due date will be around November, 3rd. I hope everyone has a safe healthy pregnancy. We don’t have a ton of family so I can’t wait to share these next months with you.
Hey ladies! I’m 26, and my DH (who is still in shock about the BFP we got last week) is 25, we’ve been married for just over 2 years now. We live in NC, but I’m from NJ where my whole side of the family still lives, so we’re up there pretty frequently. According to a due date calculator (thanks internet) my EDD is 10/31 but I figure I’ll fit better here and my daughter held out an extra 9 days so this one could do the same. Although, a Halloween baby could be fun too. Like I said, this is my second. My DD, Ella, will be 3 in June. She loves everything Disney and is the biggest chatterbox. This is still a big shock for me too, I just came off BCP in January, so getting a positive this soon is crazy. I’m super new to the BMB scene, though I did lurk a little in the June’15 board the first time around. So I’m defintely excited to be a part of this group!
I am VERY excited to be on this board, as it has been an unexpectedly difficult road trying to conceive. I am 32 and DH is 31 and we have been trying for almost 2 years. Knowing how stressful it's been for us, I feel for those who have tried even longer! I got my BFP on 2/28 and could not believe my eyes...if you have been through this, you know that you start to wonder if you will ever actually see one of those.
My DH has a 8yo son from previously and this will be our first together. Based on my online calculations, my DD would be November 8th. Because I was being treated by a fertility specialist, my first US is at 6 weeks, which is March 14th. I will then have another at 8 weeks and, if all is well, be released to my regular doctor.
I am so looking forward to getting to know everyone!
HI all! I just had my first home pregnancy BFP since 2010!
BFP tonight 3/7! I didn't believe it at first so I took another one. I've been infertile since 2014 and received treatment 2015-2017 that should have made me 100% infertile. I'm crossing my fingers that this sticks!
The funny thing is my due date is 11/15/18 which is my Mother's birthday, so if that happens to be true then well she's in for quite the surprise. I called to see if I could get a blood test soon but since I've been having on-going gynecology problems and a previous high-risk pregnancy, I think I might be seen sooner than later.
Hi all! It feels surreal to be here. I am 28 and DH is 29. We have a 17 month old son and this will be our second child. Estimated due date is November 13th. The Bump was a huge support system for me during my last pregnancy and I’m still friends with a lot of those ladies. Look forward to getting to know you all
Hello! I cannot believe I can officially join this board now! I am 27yrs old and my husband will be 30 in about a week! This is our first I got my BFP yesterday (approx. 15 DPO) and my EDD is November 13th! Looking forward to getting to know everyone
@offtoneverland Sorry I just saw your question. I knew it was coming. We went to Disney in March of '15 and I had thought maybe he would do it then. The last night we did the Wishes dessert party and when it was over he mentioned to me that he was so mad at himself but wouldn't say why. When we got home, we had mail from Jared's. Turns out he had the ring with him, but didn't bring it to Magic Kingdom that night and he didn't want to propose without the ring, so he was kicking himself. We talked about it and I told him I would be happy with anywhere he wanted to ask but later that year we decided to go back so I was pretty sure he was going to propose when we went. Low and behold, he did, on our last night during Wishes. Needless to say, I am devastated that they got rid of Wishes!

@tessiesmom26 what a cute story! Wishes always made me cry, so add a proposal on top of that, I would’ve been a blubbering mess! Have you seen the new show yet?
@pink_polkadots I did, last month. It's okay, but I think I'm not loving it because I have such a connection to Wishes. I like the themes fireworks (Moana is a swirl, Toy Story has boxes that look like building blocks) and the lasers, but I couldn't see the projections very well so it didn't wow me.

@tessiesmom26 when they live streamed the new show for its debut, we watched. I cried. I was so excited to see it in person when we went in October last year. Unfortunately between the crazy crowd of people trying to stand in front of us(after we’d scoped out a spot 45 min beforehand) and my daughter freaking about the fireworks, I didn’t get to enjoy it as much as I wish I could have.
Can I come play? After years of watching BMBs, I finally, finally, finally get to post.<3 I'm Kristo, I live in SW Missouri. Hi Everyone! I got my BFP last Friday, a day before AF was supposed to arrive. EDD is November 10th. Have my first appointment scheduled for March 26th...these next 2 1/2 weeks can't go by fast enough!
I'm 28 and DH is 37. This will be our first and I'm half way through a PhD program so I am a little nervous about juggling it all! But also very excited.
We are also huge Disney fans! We are actually going to DL in a couple weeks! I guess no big rollercoasters for me!
Hi ladies! Happy to be here! Just got my positive test!! Woohoo!! Congrats to you all. This will be my second child. My husband and I have a gorgeous 14 month old, Cora Isabelle, and I’m so excited for her to be a big sister!!!
Hi Everyone, So happy to be here. I am pregnant with #3. We have a 4 year old daughter and 18 month old son. My due date is 11/13, although that may not be accurate since I had a chemical pregnancy last month so I'm not exactly sure on ovulation date. I will have to wait and see at my first doctor's appt which I haven't scheduled yet. I'm nervous because of what happened last month but trying not to stress too much. Looking forward to getting to know everyone here!
Hello Ladies! I'm currently pregnant with baby #4 & my due date is 11/4 but my cycles have been really off so it may change after 1st ultrasound appointment on 3/29. My husband & I have 3 daughters ages 7, 4, & 2. We are super excited about this pregnancy but are being cautious at the same time due to having 2 miscarriages in the past. I love reading everyone's posts & look forward to getting to know you all more during this journey!
@Janie585 ah another mom expecting #3...we have similar age gaps, but my son is only a little over 3, daughter 18 months...welcome! were you on a previous bump board before?
Hi ladies - not totally sure if I am doing this right (first time mom, first time poster, first time errrything) but I am so excited to be pregnant and to have stumbled across this Board. Just from lurking around a bit I can tell it is going to be so wonderful to have this community of badass women for support and information!
I am 5W2D with an EDD of 11/7 (sidenote: my mom's birthday is 11/10 and I think she would be absolutely thrilled if her first grandchild came a few days late and they shared a birthday). I'm 31 and my husband is 30. We've been trying for a couple of months and so have just been on cloud 9 since getting a BFP! We live in NYC (for now) but the idea of trying to cram a crib and other baby stuff in our apartment is not appealing. If I can handle the added stress of a move, I think we will probably decamp to Brooklyn or NJ before the baby comes. My 8-week doctor's appointment is 3/26 and I am just trying to keep it together until then!
@jessica4141 welcome! My husbands birthday is the 10th and our EDD is the 11th. I think it’d be the most amazing birthday present to have the baby on his birthday! We shall see.
@wannaflickone That's great, me too! Everyone thought I was crazy when I ran until past due with my son but hopefully I can do the same with this one! We can share in the fun and misery of running haha!
@erinmarie86 Yay! It's so great to be in the same boat as others! I wasn't on a previous bump board but it definitely seems nice to be able to chat with others going through the same stuff!
@janie585 Yes! I would love that! Fingers crossed our bodies will be able to take it. One of my favorite bump photos is of me after a 5k the day I went into labor. I was SO red-faced and sweaty, but it makes me proud to look back and remember it.
Hi ladies! We found out last Saturday we are having baby #3! We have two daughters 16 and 7 and two boxers. I’m due 11/10 though I was induced a week early with my second because she was getting really big (8 14) so may have this one early as well! My first appointment is April 2nd it can’t come soon enough!

Hi everyone! FTM from NY here. My DH is 40 and I’ll be 35 at the end of the month. Cautiously posting as *TW* I had a MC at 6 weeks in January and started bleeding the night before my first appt. We only BD 1 time 2 weeks after the MC but after AF hadn’t showed for 5 weeks afte the MC I took a test and low and behold- BFP! Since I had the MC, my dr. ordered betas right away *end TW* I just found out my Hcg is 6,000 but my progesterone is only 7. I go back tomorrow for a second draw and the dr. is hopeful my progesterone will rise a bit more and stressed to me not to worry. Fingers crossed for rise in the numbers and a sticky one! I’ll mostly be on mobile but I’ve been lurking since the board opened. Can’t wait to get to know you all and be part of this journey with you!! I like to snowboard, the beach, and going to concerts (DMB and country ones are my favorite).
I received my BFP this morning! I'm pregnant today, so I'm joining. I'm 31, a middle school math teacher from Texas, and wife to my DH, 37, and Mommy to DS, 3. Also, mama to 3 fur-babies! DS surprised us by showing up at just 29 weeks gestation! After having a completely normal/healthy pregnancy, I woke up with stomach pains and turned out I was in labor!
I'm a little nervous, as it is still very early, but I'm going to take it one day at a time and join in on all the pregnancy fun. We have been TTC #2 since late 2015. I had a chemical pregnancy last year, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed and praying that this little one sticks around and is healthy. Congratulations to all of you and I look forward to getting to know you!
Hi I am here for now. have a 7 year old son and had two miscarriages since him. scared but still pregnant my levels are doubling so that is positive. My husband turns 40 this turn 38 in weeks. Good luck everyone!.
I might be jumping the gun but I tested positive last night (confirmed by 9 more tests today). My husband and I have been married for almost 6 years and TTC for 5.5 years. A year ago we underwent fertility testing and found out the I have hashimotos disease and DOR and my husband has a low sperm count. We started our first medicated cycle on 2/15 with back to back IUI on 2/27 and 2/28. I tested out my trigger shot and had two days of negative tests followed by the positives last night and today (10dpIUI). So I’m very happy but also very nervous. I’m going to call my RE office on Monday for a beta to confirm and ease my mind a bit. But I decided to be optimistic (cautiously so) and join this group. My EDD is 11/19!!!! I’m looking forward to getting to know all of you better!!!!
Two Furbabies: Mika (american eskimo) and Gypsy (wire-haired terrier, dachshund mix)
Twins: Kaiden and Zara born 10/2018 conceived after 6 years of infertility via a medicated IUI
Hey ladies! Yay! Over 6 days of waiting, creeping in the shadows, and I'm finally able to post!
I don't even know if I'm allowed to be here since it looks like everyone is from the States. Are Canadains allowed? Haha
My husband and I are nervously optimistic about this pregnancy! 10 years ago, I was told I would never concieve (due to various issues). 3 years ago we had an unexpected surprise, followed by a devestating loss.
This February we decided to have fun and see what happened (no pressure, but hoping to concieve). Figured it would take a couple months if it ever even happened.
Within 3 days of ovulation, I was convinced I was pregnant. Though I kept telling myself it was my imagination, and not to get my hopes up. I got a BFN and was so disappointed that I was wrong and let my imagination get away from me.
A few days later, on a whim, I took another test, expecting another BFN, and almost passed out when I saw the dark second line!! My plans of surprising my husband went out the window, and I went running to show him.
He didn't understand lol. I started crying in excitement and disbelief while he hugged me.
EDD is Nov 6 based on LMP
We are parents to one fur baby- a dog we rescued. She is amazing and we love her so much! She keeps us busy, but she is a good excuse to get lots of exercise in this cold weather for this pregnancy!
Hi Everyone! Got my 1st BFP March 2nd and according to LMP due date should be November 8th. I’m 25, DH is 27 and we have a 4 year old maltipoo dog. We have been married for 2 years and just started trying in January to get pregnant. We were so surprised it happened so quickly, but could not be happier! Since this is my first pregnancy, we are very nervous and are hoping everything goes well. Our first ultrasound is scheduled for March 23rd, which cannot come soon enough!! Reading so many other posts have really helped ease some of my nerves and I cannot thank you ladies enough. I look forward to sharing this amazing journey with you all!
I got my BFP on Monday and my estimated due date is November 15th! I am 32 and DH just turned 34 in February, currently living outside of Atlanta, GA. We have a not-quite 18 month old DD and I am looking forward to her being a big sister! We are cautiously optimistic right now as I have a history of early losses. Fortunately, I was able to get in to see my doctor on Wednesday to get a progesterone supplement since I am convinced that saved my last pregnancy. First US will be on 4/3 at ~8 weeks... it seems so far away.
We also have our own mini-zoo with 4 fur babies (3 german shepherds and a rescued kitty) and a few planted freshwater aquariums (one of my hobbies). I am looking forward to getting to know everyone! I was also a participant for a little while on the O16 BMB... I am hoping to be more active this time around.
Hi everyone! I have been lurking for a little while, and figured I should introduce myself! I got my BFP a week ago, EDD is 11/11. DH and I are both 37, and this will be our first child. I am a dance teacher and we live in VA. We aren’t really telling anyone for a while, so I’m sure it will be nice to get some support here! Here’s to everyone’s happy and healthy pregnancies!
Re: Introduce Yourself Here

I'm 28 and DH is 37. This will be our first and I'm half way through a PhD program so I am a little nervous about juggling it all! But also very excited.
We are also huge Disney fans! We are actually going to DL in a couple weeks! I guess no big rollercoasters for me!
@PMForbie we're also wanting to be team green!
My name is Brionna, I am twenty years old. This will be my first little one! My SO and I live in Iowa, and are so excited!! I am 4w6d today.
I love hearing from women who have had a child and have some wisdom!
Any insight helps! A healthy and happy nine months to you all!
So happy to be here.
