@kissableviv omg, the Tesla is so cool. I love thst their showroom is in the mall with fresh young employees instead of typical cars sales associates. I heard a lot about the CRV, that's on my list. My mini Cooper days are over. Not big enough anymore!
@4deep I am so jealous of your big empty clear nursery-to-be! Nice job. Boy, makes me realize Our office/craft room has a lot of emptying to do!!
@lindsayleigh1989 I’m not at all aggressive, nor do I believe your concerns for the feelings of @brittany121087 are genuine. You could have messaged her privately, but instead you chose to engage her publicly on a message board. Given I believe you are a therapist(?), I would think you’d know your public approach might not be the most constructive one. I certainly did as soon as I saw it - and hence my weighing in.
@babybakie DH was so impressed with the service and the difference sales approached. To be expected when their cars are worth a hefty down payment for a house! I told DH he can sell his Acura, get a cheap second hand car for a year and save HIS money for the cheaper model. Which has an 18 month wait list, so there you go! LOL!
I had a Mini Cooper too! It was my dream car. I bought it when I got my first promotion. I loved it and I still miss it...I secretly hope when the kid is older I can get one again, right???
@foxbaby2016 I did make them. They house our boys’ dozens of books. I don’t think I want to take them down either so that part of the baby’s nursery will be a shared space still.... or at least until I figure out a new setup for their books.
Our glider just just got delivered too!!! I’m on cloud nine, such a surprise!! They said estimated 2/22 so I was so shocked when it came today!! I can’t wait for the Husband to get home and help me move it to the baby’s room. Squeeeee
@kissableviv I had a beetle convertible and when we sold it for a bigger car it was so sad haha. my mom bought herself the cutest little sport car after all of us were old enough to drive. I think I may have to do the same thing with something cuter than a beetle
I was lurking WTE and a woman just found out she is pregnant at 18-20 weeks! crazy! i can't even imagine what that must be like.
This happened to one of my old coworkers. She had ulcers and other issues for so long that she didn’t have a period and what not. She was pretty chubby as well so she didn’t notice much of a belly at first. Pretty crazy!
@lindsayleigh1989 a friend of mine actually was getting the bc shot from her doctor and there was a mixup with the prescription and she and a handful of other women in the practice (on the shot) wound up getting pregnant around the same time. Most of them didn’t find out until their next shot was due, at just under 20 weeks. She found out the sex at her “dating scan,” so crazy!
One of my best friends didn’t find out until 16 weeks. I still don’t get it! Her daughter is 7 now, and to this day she swears she had what she thought was a “period” during that time. I remember it being so nuts! She didn’t show at all and we went from finding out she was pregnant to finding out what she was having like a week later. LOL
wow! I didn't realize it wasn't super uncommon. this woman hadnt had a period for 10 years dur to her being on IUD and had been told she couldn't get pregnant and just thought she was sick for a few months. so awesome though to feel like you only have to wait half the time to get a baby!
@acunamatada that is crazy! was it defective or something?
@lindsayleigh1989 the way she described it, someone had screwed up the dosage, I’m not sure if it was a defect or if it’s something the doctors can screw up. Because regular birth control is all the same dosage I think?
@acunamatada I've never thought about that before haha you should find out and report back! they tried the 4d at our anatomy scan and it wasn't cute haha
@babybakie@kissableviv I have a Mini Cooper countryman that I paid off last year and now I’m wondering if I can pass it off with a baby. The seats are spacious just not sure the trunk space is big enough for a stroller and groceries/other items. I love my car, it was my first purchase all on my own right when the countryman model was released so I’d be sad to part with it. My husband has an Audi Q5 and we love the space. He originally had a two door and it was terrible trying to get anything in there.
@gingerbride26 I don't know if you posted it here but I don't mind watching call the midwife because I put it into perspective, it's set in the 50s/ 60s and almost everything they show is a non issue or at least it's diagnosable before actual birth I love the show!
@tarheelgirl8 lol! Oh gosh you remind me of my husband. Almost every night I get a “can you tickle my back?” His Mom constantly tickled/rubbed his back as a kid so he’s obsessed with it. You’re creating a monster for her future spouse! lol
I'm sooo torn on whether to do a 3d/4d US this time. I did it last time but it was super early and tbh it was just creepy looking. If I do it this time, it will be much closer to my due date for sure
DH and I went to a Brazilian steakhouse last night and while it was delicious we made the stupid mistake of getting home and watching TV in bed after eating wayyyy too much. We were both awake at 4am and can't go back to sleep. Work will be interesting...
@cseley321 my friend just got one and said the tech told her the best time for 3D is between 25-28 weeks. That way baby is starting to get chubby but not so squished in there that you can get good pictures!
@SmashJam omg it's an epidemic - came home yesterday from work on mimi-watch day to find DD (almost 2) hadn't taken a SINGLE NAP all day... Of course she passed out laying on me watching trolls 2 hours before bed...stayed passed out through taking her rain boots off (don't ask), carrying up a flight of stairs, fairly asleep through diaper change - as soon as she touched the mattress up like a spring after the best power nap and was a hysterical hellion for another almost 3 hours... save me ...and she just traded me her binky for my eggo and ran off to sesame street
add us to the sleep hating group... dd was up wide awake at 3am wanting to get up and watch little baby bum... um no ... she did go back to sleep for an hour and a half finally but ugh so tired
Sleep issue here too. But Sloan developed a cough and fever. She woke up at 2 am with 103. But she wouldn’t go back to bed even after medication. So I’ve been on the couch while she has been watching Spirit. Waiting on the doctor office to open to get an appointment
@hillbillywife good to know! I got it done at 16 weeks last time because they would tell you the sex, and we didn't want to wait for the anatomy scan to find out.
@elizabethrn87 poor baby - hope she feels better. Hope it's not an ear infection. Here's to my fellow tired mom's today - may your 1 cup of coffee be enough, and their naps long
@wildtot That show is sooooo good. I am always so happy when I get the notification a new season has been added. There have been big changes from season to season but the show really works, IMO. Happy to see others love it just as much!
@elizabethrn87 hope your LO feels better! And solidarity to all my tired mamas! Sounds like we all need a nap and some comfort food...hmmm what can I make?
Also...DS almost fell asleep in the car so I put him down for a nap early. Spoiler alert...he's not napping, because now he's magically not tired. I feel your pain @gingerbride26.

I have had 4 minis over the last 10+ years so I'll miss it too. Hey, maybe a countryman can be big enough!? Lol. Probably not.
Also- my dog will be fine. I think he was exaggerating a little bit lol. He was almost fine at the vet’s office.
@acunamatada that is crazy! was it defective or something?

me: (lays DD in crib) goodnight sweetie. I love you (starts to walk away)
DD: mommy! rub my back!
so that’s what I sound like when I beg DH to give me back rubs...
...and she just traded me her binky for my eggo and ran off to sesame street
Here's to my fellow tired mom's today - may your 1 cup of coffee be enough, and their naps long
You ladies got got me hooked on the Call of The Midwife! Such a good show!
@hillbillywife happy late birthday!! I hope you had a good day yesterday, did you do anything exciting besides the vet?
Sorry about all the sleep issues, moms, hopefully it was only a one day thing!
Also...DS almost fell asleep in the car so I put him down for a nap early. Spoiler alert...he's not napping, because now he's magically not tired. I feel your pain @gingerbride26.
