@scottishlass1213 I also wish we'd have taken video. We got pictures, which are great, but at 7+4 there wasn't much to see, and it was so fluttery that the picture is just a grey blur. Video would have captured it much better.

DS2 is back at school today!!! It seems that we may have all avoided catching the flu from him too. Thanks to all who asked about his well being, he sure was a poor little mite for a few days there.
@mrsbubbles-2 Yes, it's the NT scan. They didn't call it that when I was scheduling the appointment but I just looked at my patient portal and it specifically says I have the NT scan. Maybe they will be nice and give me a photo but I know better to assume and then be disappointed. Thank you, I'm hopeful too and looking forward to the appt.

Doing something kind of fun for V-day: Every day of February up till the 14th, you tape a heart on your kid's/kids' door with something you love about them written on it. Writing a list of things I love about them now, already bought construction paper at lunchtime! Fun! (I am so not a crafty, Elf on the shelf type mom, but someone on my other BMB suggested this and I love that it is a different way to give them each a compliment).
Joining in the siggy challenge this time around. How complicated is it adding a spoiler box? Don't want any coworkers thinking y'all are into monkey rumps.
My OB still has not called back. It turns out this kid went home with a 104 fever. I get so annoyed when kids are obviously sick and the parents send them anyway.

@brzvice - I laughed way to hard at your siggy!!! In your signature settings, highlight the picture and in the paragraph drop-down spoiler is an option. That should put it in the spoiler box.
I'm such a child, I'm still laughing at monkey rumps
I am not gonna lie I get a little excited when I see someone post a AW or one off post. I just sit back and wait for you all to GIF the heck out of them.
I feel like we might be killing the FTMs with all our chit chat? Are ya'll sick of us yet?
Bahaha I love that there are so many active STMs here. I joined a public group on facebook with ~1200 people, most seeming to be clueless FTMs in it (which, I know, we all were at one point, but most of us could read) and the questions in there...my god...

No I love it! Because I know in return you will all tolerate my FTM insanity (jk... kind of ).
I am currently losing my mind. I got an envelope from my OB with the sex in it and it is STARING AT ME THROUGH MY PURSE YOU GUYS. I promised DH I would wait and find out with him next Saturday and that seems soooo far away. Help me.

I don't mind the STM chit -chat, though sometimes I'll skim through those posts. I like that most of y'all have been here before and can give me advice and heads -up. The only thing that bothers me is when terms or acronyms are used that make me feel like an idiot since everyone else seems to understand them.

Hi ladies! I was back in the office today, so things were a bit hectic after being out all week. I swear I barely had time to pee!! DH stayed home with DS today. He’s pretty much back to himself aside from a cough and some congestion. He’s a little crankier than normal now that we are creeping in on bed time, so I think he’s still just tired. He’s back to school tomorrow bough!! DH is still tired, congested and cranky, too. I’m sending him to bed once DS goes down. So far I’ve avoided it, so I’m hoping I’m in the clear!!!
I’m also super jealous of everyone finding out the sex! I will discuss with my OB at my appointment next week do we will do any event if testing or not. I’ll be 35 at delivery, so just have to determine whether she thinks it’s nevessary because I don’t want to pay out of pocket if it isn’t covered. The NT scan is covered though at least. With DS we had the us tech put the sex in an envelope at the a/s. We then went out to dinner after and I let DH open it and tell me what we were having. We will probably do something similar this time around regardless of when we find out.
An 8th kid has the flu, so I'm starting Tamiflu tonight.
It's really weird, but only my boys are getting it. Three of my tables have had every boy get it and no girls at all. I'm wondering if it's because the girls are less likely to be putting their fingers in their mouths and noses.
Me: 28 DH: 29 Married: 6/2016 TTC #1: 12/2016 Benched due to deployment- Off the bench 8/8/17!
@jsnakehole That would be my guess. Boys tend to be a bit more physical too..so maybe they're just messing with each other and touching one another more? (like roughhousing) I forgot what age you teach, tho.
I like the STM talk - it's helpful for me to listen and absorb valuable info I don't have much to add, sadly - but I love tit stuff when I can.
I don't mind the chit chat at all. As long as you don't mind my FTM junk interrupting.
@legallykate it will be so much more fun to find out together! At least that's part of the logic keeping me team green. Good luck with resisting temptation! @lolog531 glad your DS is starting to feel better! @jsnakehole hope you are able to handle the tamiflu better than some of our other ladies. Good luck avoiding the flu!
Also, first time not mobile bumping, and I'm loving all these signatures! Hope I did it right.
Speaking of medicated births. I wish there was medicated pregnancy. Cuz I could use something right now. It’s way to early for like all over RLP. But that’s how I feel. Like I’m stretching everywhere. And it hurts. And I’m dying. Wonder if I can go ahead and request my epidural now.

Man I would love an epidural right now. I mean, I can't drink wine, so why not the next best thing? My back and hips are so sore, and now pubic bone area from RLP, oh and my knee too. I'm basically counting the days until my epidural

Oh man @dirtanddiamonds when can i have my epidural is always the first question out of my mouth once im in the hospital, I didn’t even think about asking for it now. That’s genius.
After being up sick all night from the Tamiflu, I'm up and getting ready for work because I can't afford to take a day. And I'm sure I'll be sending at least one kid who got sent to school sick home today.

Having a rough morning. DS1 threw a fit about my pre-Valentine's thing of putting a heart with something I love about him on his door every morning. I know he is just 4 and that is 4 in a nutshell right there, but it really got to me and I bawled my eyes out. DH then blamed me because I was in a bad mood, wut? Wish I could have a do-over.
*massive TW re infant loss*
Another reason I am down is yesterday my friend from another BMB, who delivered her second pre-term baby at 25 weeks last week, lost her baby. She had delivered her first at 27 weeks and he survived. And she had tied her tubes last week when she delivered her second. I am just so devastated for her.
Oh @alinafed I am so sorry. What a shit day. I hope your DS wakes up tomorrow morning and loves the hearts, I think they're an adorable idea! And that's just so heartbreaking about your friend. I am so so sorry for her loss and to your whole BMB community.

Thank you mrsbubbles, that is very sweet of you and I really appreciate it. This is not our BMB's first child that has passed unfortunately... which is so horrible as no one should have to go through that ever. But we have supported each other through all kinds of things, cancer, loss, mental illness etc. so I am always at least glad we have each other.
