H and I took a trip to Denver for a long weekend in August and ate at this amazing gourmet hot dog place. I have been thinking about that hot dog all day. H said we could try to recreate it tomorrow but I don't think it'll be the same!
@catlady1215@rnielsen321 I loooooooooove perogies. It wasn't something I ever ate before I got pregnant. However, I stumbled on Mrs. T's in the freezer section one day, now I can't get enough. It might be a problem.
Also re: mac and cheese Did y'all know you can buy just the cheese sauce from Velveeta mac & cheese without the noodles? I had no idea until I went home to the midwest for xmas and everyone in my family does that now, using fancy noodles.
@laceybee522 crazy you didn't have them till you were pregnant! pierogies are a staple where I'm from. fried up with some butter and onion.. ugh!
whhaat? I never heard of this. wonder if my store carries that.
speaking of, I just had more for lunch. with a big helping of MIL's stuffed cabbage casserole. I've been iffy on tomato sauces again this pregnancy, so wanted to chase it with the mac n cheese

Full disclosure: I've been avoiding this thread because I seriously have no willpower (omg...too much top ramen and pho and gummies - Swedish fish are my poison if choice). There have been 115 posts since I last checked here. But I had to skip over to page 6 and share this thing that popped up on my Facebook feed:I don't know if I even believe pregnancy cravings are a real thing, but I just about got in my car and drove 35 minutes to the closest Arbys. Why do they look soooo good? haha. I might have to investigate when I'm near there on Thursday. I'll report back
Afm, I’m in Toronto this week for work. I had to check out the Momofuku Noodle Bar here. So...I ate more ramen. It is a totally different menu and I had TanTan Ramen (confit chicken and ramen noodles in a spicy broth with a poached egg) which was new to me and really good.
@katelynrae86 I actually did go into Arby's last night and saw a giant ad for those (luckily after I ordered.) It took everything I had not to get some. They also have giant Ghiradelli cookies, which looked fantastic.
@katelynrae86 I saw these posted on facebook and half the people were saying they were not good. that does NOT make me want them any less! I like to be the judge of my own food But if that helps the urge to drive at all lol.

I've have been running through Panera's drive through on my way to work almost every day for the last week for an asiago cheese bagel with cream cheese. Gimme all the carbs!
@harveyabbey77 Those are my favorite! There's a Panera on the way to daycare, which doesn't make staying away any easier. A lot of times though, I tell myself I'm just gonna get a bagel, but I end up getting the spinach and artichoke soufflé. Yum!
@kfren I've been avoiding eggs because they've been giving my stomach issues this pregnancy! So weird. But regardless, I'd make an exception for that! Haha.
Anyone else counting down the days til they get to eat their whole pint of Ben and Jerry's? I'll be 20 weeks on Thursday, but think I will save it for Saturday night. Nom nom.
Also been eating a ton of taco salads for lunch. I buy shredded iceberg lettuce, have some cooked up ground beef in fridge. Warm a little bit of it up, dump it on top of lettuce, add shredded mozzarella, salsa, sometimes avocado if I didn't eat the above breakfast and like 6 crushed Tostitos chips.
@amys614 holding out until Sunday for 20 wks and my B&J's! Still trying to figure out how I want to use it to post on SM. I haven't posted any bump pics or pregnancy related things since we announced on Christmas so part of me wants to do an actual bump pic but another part of me wants to just curl up on the couch with my pint of ice cream.

@harveyabbey77 +1 to the bagels! I normally don't eat them often (not pregnant) but I've been having everything bagels with lots of cream cheese for breakfast. I love panera, but if I'm going there, I splurge for the cinnamon crunch one. yum yum yum...Funny, its in the same parking lot as Arbys. If I go get those oreo things, maybe I'll pick up a bagel for the next day
@amys614 Yes, I can't wait for next Friday to be 20 weeks for my pint of half baked (and I already eat ice cream 3-4 nights a week...)
I'm currently devouring a full sized bag of movie theater buttered popcorn at my desk...

@amys614 I'm over the 'half baked' point. But i plan on having a pint of half baked AGAIN sat night just to get it in before my glucose results come back lol. We'll have a b&j party
@krashke I say take a belly pic with the half baked b&j right next to the belly! Self explanatory!

@catlady1215@amy614@krashke I'll only be 19 weeks on Saturday but my first 2 babies came out big and healthy at 37 weeks and 37 + 5 weeks respectively. So, seeing as I anticipate a slightly shorter pregnancy again, I plan to celebrate with Ben and Jerry this weekend. Also, when I was pregnant with DS I sent DH to the store to get me some Ben and Jerry's. No specific flavor but I specified Ben and Jerry's. He came back with store brand ice cream "because it was 2 for $5." I cried.

@llamamama14 I think your reasoning for an early b&j night is def justified!
..... I feel I need to apologize for the Ben and jerry craze on our board lol. Believe i started this with my 'half baked' celebration I had with DS. Nobody blame me when those glucose tests come back all crazy later!

A client brought brownie batter chips in salted caramel. I immediately told my coworkers that it was in the back and should not be left alone around preggo lady lololol
Oh this feed does NOT help my wanting to eat ALL the things lately. It’s like my body isn’t trying to make up for not eating during the first trimester. Now I want a taco salad. Yesterday was 20 weeks for me so I ate half of my pint last night and I will likely finish it tonight. @catlady1215 ~ don’t apologize for Ben & Jerry’s! I did half baked with DS too. And had already planned to celebrate in the same manner again this time.
@lisa2589 I had an intense Red Lobster craving last pregnancy. I started crying I wanted it so badly. Then I went and ate errrrything. It was a very satisfying experience.
I want everything I see. I watched a tasty vegetarian video on brownies today and I want brownies so badly. DH was willing to bring me some brownie mix home but I declined. We're trying to avoid spending extra money or doing any eating out right now and thus no brownies for me. A girl can fantasize though.
@lisa2589 I have maybe been to Red Lobster once in my life but when I was like 10 weeks I saw a commercial for them and the cheddar bay biscuits looked so good so MH went upstairs and whipped up a batch. They were so good! And surprisingly easy to make we’ve done them twice again.

@BurlapandLace I'm not a huge Red Lobster fan in general (I've only been a couple times) but the cheddar bay biscuits are soooo good. Cheesey and salty deliciousness! They have a mix you can buy to recreate them at home. And like @krashke said, they're easy to make from scratch too!
From scratch they’re pretty much like a regular biscuit- just add cheese to the dough, then when you pull them out you douse them in garlic butter... *heart eyes*
