DQ’s blizzard of the month is a triple truffle blizzard. Truffle blizzards are my favorite. I feel like it’s only a matter of time before it’s all mine.
@LaceyBee522 I would kill for some jimmy johns - unfortunately there are none close to me
Recent things I ate: cheddar and and sour cream ruffles vegetable samosas I can’t get enough string cheese or mandarins Amy’s white cheddar box macaroni A hot mess of corn dogs ... And I’m hungry again ...
@glitterfingers there sandwiches are so basic but I love them too. My boss does as well. Whenever he's in the office he orders them for everyone (that and this one pizza place he loves). We're actually having jimmy johns today.
@doxiemoxie212 - that sounds delicious! I’ve never had gnocchi and I want to try it! But I want to make sure when I do that I am eating deliciousness and not bad gnocchi that is going to ruin my experience
I have a snack drawer at work too. I have to! We are so far from a quick bite of anything, I would be ill!
I have been devouring the Spiced Baked Oatmeal I made... crunchy fruity sweet, and well, healthy?

I also have a snack drawer but no where near as glorious as @kmurdock925!
My workplace is moving into a new building at the beginning of Feb and one of the "new building rules" is absolutely no eating at your desk . I have no idea what I'm going to do because I certainly can't get up and go to the cafeteria every time I have to eat a snack. I eat all day!
@LaceyBee522 I have no idea! With almost 300 people in our building, I think it's going to be difficult for them to be watching over everyone. I'm planning to just bring "quiet" foods and be discrete about it! String cheese, yogurt, purse gummies
@harveyabbey77 I once worked at a v well known company with like 2000 employees that tried that same thing bc they developed a mouse problem. No one listened, the mice lived on, it was absolutely impossible to enforce. That said, probably if mice had made a nest under my desk or something I’d have gotten in trouble.

I want a bacon egg and cheese bagel from McDonald's. Every morning. I probably give in 3 to 4 days during the 5 day work week.

@mytinc I have really been toying with the idea of McGriddle lately, which I haven't had in forever. I pass a McDonald's on my walk into work every morning, so it's getting really, really hard to resist.

@doxiemoxie212 I'm sure that's why they've put the rule in place! I'd die if I saw a mouse running around my office We don't have mice at our current building but the carpets are pretty nasty from years of wear and tear and food spills. They are probably just trying to keep the building as nice as they can for as along as they can. But if I was a betting lady, I'd say that people just totally ignore the rule and we're back to eating at our desks within a month or two.
I’m not going to lie, my kid LOVES Kraft Mac n cheese (like could probably live on it) and I really have no problem making it for her... and also eating it...
Working at a huge college... that no desk eating rule would never fly lol. We definitely have mice and have the buildings folks in all the time. College kids are gross and eat all kinds of everything around the clock leaving garbage everywhere. We always buy our custodial staff treats and do thank yous regularly. They are saints.
how could you work without eating? Work is torturous enough but no food. You're crazy. I'm pretty sure Walmart (or some other giant chain store) got sued because they'd only let employees have water when the employee told them she needed to have juice and a light snack. The lady was a diabetic and you don't have to reveal your medical conditions to your employer, and they can't ask you. They told her no, only water and she won like a ton of money after having to be hospitalized for low blood sugar. Unless they give you 2-3 additional breaks per day, how can they expect someone to not need to eat on occasion outside of lunch whether its diabetic, pregnancy or some other condition.
@ffw0617 in my case, there was no restriction on breaks because I don't really work in an industry with formal hours (PR... so, work ZOMG ALL THE TIME lol), so they just wanted us to get up from our desks, walk 10 feet to the kitchen, eat in there, and come back to our desk. But... 1) if I had that kind of free time, I'd scroll Twitter while snacking, 2) most of the time I was snacking while on mute on a conference call.
@doxiemoxie212 See, this is the problem with video conferencing...so much harder to snack! People wonder why my camera is always off, and it’s 100 percent because I’m shoveling something into my gaping maw.

I want @kmurdock925 snack drawer. I have a few things at my work desk but that's impressive! Hospital governing bodies tend to not like food in 'patient care areas'.
@MoonOverGoldsboro between eating, my "wtf face" and rolling my eyes at some of the stupidity being spewed.... I would absolutely lose my job if we switched from teleconference to videoconference. No thanks!
