So we've got a ton of appointments scheduled moving forward, re-draw of blood for A1C and thyroid, starting low-dose asprin at 11 weeks and 24 hour urine collection to screen for sugars / ketones. Plus an increase to my insulin doses and scheduling for NT scan / genetics counseling. But it's all worth it
Thanks so much for the well wishes! I posted an update in the ultrasound thread! Today's appointment went great and all is well. Now I can finally feel like this is real. The worst part was I had to have a pap done which super sucks when you're pregnant because the cervix is sooo tender. And I was tense because I knew it would hurt. And I was sweaty because I was tense. LOL.
Sorry for the delayed update here; DH and I went out for Mexican food after as a celebration.
The Bachelor is my guilty pleasure! I only watched the first hour last night because my headache was so bad and I was exhausted. I will watch the rest on hulu tonight! ditto to krystal being annoying! I thought Becca was super sweet though!
You guys - I totally creepy lurked the gender reveal chic's post history and she's got way more drama than just how to throw her big AW gender reveal party! TL;DR - 9 weeks pregnant, the guy left her because he cheated and is now saying the baby isn't his. Oh, but who has a good idea for a first name with middle name Lawrence.

@mrsbubbles-2 That's magical. I did notice on her FB profile she has only been "in a relationship" since November. Which....if she's 9w.....kid was conceived in November.
I think it's pretty normal for the early phases of BMB? We broke into a private group fairly quickly to avoid the "it's on the internet so anyone can read it" thing last time and actually get to know eachother on a better level. Then the private group moved to FB.
@mrsbubbles-2 I creepy lurked too lol. It sounds almost like she had a one night stand, thought she was in a relationship, got knocked up, the guy didn't think they were exclusive, and now she's single and expecting and for some reason worried about ideas for a gender reveal? Like if that is real, the gender reveal is the least of her problems, and she needs to start worrying about things like suing for child support. Not a gender reveal.

@mrsbubbles-2 Well when someone pointed out that she showed her full name and OB's name on her profile pic U/S picture.....it wasn't that hard to look her up on FB.
If she's a phony though, she could have just stolen that pic from a random Internet location. Isn't there a way to reverse search for a picture? I wonder if we'd find it on BC or something.

Ehh. The mods are pretty indiscriminate when issuing warnings. 3 strikes and you’re banned. So just don’t use them up.

The hardest part about DH not being home is that I don't know what I want for dinner and have no one to help me decide. I had wanted just side dishes from KFC and now I don't want that. But now I kind of do again. I don't know!
