I ordered pasta for dinner tonight, and my favorite part about the place I ordered from is that their theory on bread seems to be "This is enough food for two people. So, 25 rolls should be just enough."

I think I've talked my company into funding me to go to the BottleRock music festival in Napa this summer. I'm excited because it's a 3 day festival with some amazing artists but I'm also hella bummed because, alcohol. Summer heat. Big crowds of intoxicated people. Blah.
My husband has his tonsils out today (and some other things too). I took today-Friday off so I can stay home with our 2 kids. But I was working from home. So stressful. DH’s surgery went well, but he is in pain. He should be coming home tomorrow.
I HATE THE BUMP APP. Sorry. Had to get that off my chest. I feel like I can’t participate as much as I would like to simply because it freezes. Have to close it out. Reopen. Impossible to navigate. Over it.

@ecwk I was keto for a while myself and I found as soon as I stopped eating keto I couldn't get enough carbs. It was like everything I deprived myself of just came flooding back.

I'm going on a weekend trip with my 3 besties this weekend to NYC. Suuuuuper excited but zero desire to pack. Anyone wanna come do it for me? Also, there is not going to be enough food or snacks on the 6 hour plane ride tomorrow for this ravenous monster.
A coworker was craving Chik-Fil-A for lunch, so I totally hopped on board that and had her get me a spicy chicken sandwich and waffle fries. It totally turned my ‘meh’ today around real quick!!
There is a new Red Robin opening near me and they are doing a few days of “preview” where you get a free meal so the staff can practice. So, I did that for lunch today and it was awesome!!! I may go back before the grand opening so I can eat for free again! No shame.
@ladygali thanks! I've never been so I'm suuuuuuuuper excited! The girls all go home Sunday afternoon but I'm staying until Monday so I actually have a night in a hotel in NYC by myself. I have no idea what to do with myself lol
@calimom2524 wear comfy shoes, you’ll walk a TON, maybe try to get a last minute ticket to a broadway show or something. Eat pizza and bagels and cheese cake. You’ll have to tell us how it is!!
@calimom2524 there's so much good stuff. Mimi Cheng's for dumplings, Lombardi's for pizza (Artichoke for a quick slice), Il Corallo Trattoria for pasta, everything at Chelsea Market (especially the tacos!), Mahmouns for falafel. Billy's Bakery and Empire Cakes are both way better than Magnolia.

Having a long week this week - first week back after winter break and I'm just not feeling it.
Have a road trip this weekend to dance at a festival on Saturday so I'm super excited about that - probably my last time to perform before baby gets here.

Hubby is in a hell of a mood tonight. He had a tooth pulled so I understand he’s in pain and will be grouchy but he’s taking it out on absolutely everyone. And apparently he needed to make scrambled eggs “his” way when I offered to make him eggs....scrambled eggs is pretty easy how am I doing it wrong?! Lol
