Early signs???

Today is the 8th and I usually get AF on the 16th..my boobs have been sore and swollen(my hubby even said they looke swollen and it even is sore with just m bra touching them) since thursday and i have been off balance and dizzy.Could this be an eraly sign? My hubby and I did the baby dance a little before my actual ovulation dates and a little after.

    Do you know when you ovulated for sure? 


    ETA: like by temping, blood work, or ultrasound

    Might be.  Might not be.  Progesterone (which is high after ovulation) can also cause these symptoms.  Don't rely on the calendar to guess when your period will arrive. Best of luck.

    For someone who didn't even know what a LP was 2 months ago, you are definitely on the wrong board.  The only trouble you have is not learning how your body works.

    2 years, 2 surgeries, 2 clomid fails, 2 IUIs, 1 loss, IVF #1 - 10/25/10 = BFP!, DS is now 3.5yrs!
    TTC #2 - 6/12 surgery #3, FET #1 & 1.2 = BFN, 12/2012 FET #2 = BFP! DD is 1.5 yrs!

    I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929

    You look for info on the Trouble TTC board since you are TTC? Hmm Stop....think about it.

    I think if you're already in the testing stages of TTC then you're welcome here.  But it might help to check out Taking Charge of Your Fertility from the library, or do the tutorials on fertilityfriend.com .  That will help bunches. :)

    Thanks, Autumn. :)  haha  Really though, think about how many women don't really understand their cycle.  There are tons of couples who TTC for six months or more (like the description of this board says) and haven't done the research.  It's okay.

    Chicadee, the best reason at this point to educate yourself is so you know what questions to ask your doctor.  You'll also know if your doctor says something weird.

My doctor just suggest that we keep trying naturally before he puts me on meds, since all of our test came back with good results. And we have been TTC for 3 and half years,so I think that qualifies as Trouble TTC???

    No problem, hon. :)  I hope you get knocked up before needing to go on treatments. :)

    This place is really very, very supportive.  The ladies here are awesome.  It's just a little off-putting to us when someone comes in with no back story, when we can't tell what all you've been through.  Not that it's a pissing contest or anything, but it's just easier to relate to someone on this particular board when you know they've struggled to.   That's how I see it anyway.

    You have been trying for 3 1/2 years and your doctor doesn't want to intercede? Why is that? And what tests did you have?

    There is no way to know anyone's situation unless they introduce themselves.  Honestly, when you said that you usually get AF on the 16th each month and you also said "ovulation dates" (plural) it really didn't seem like you could be charting.  In many situations when someone has been trying for more than 3 years, their doctor usually wants to run tests, etc.  Usually after 1 year, really.

    Good luck, I hope you find the support you need.

    i want to know the same thing.

    3 1/2 years with no medical intervention? (not that you have to..just sayin)

    Have you had a SHG or HSG or any other forms of testing to ensure you dont have endo, blocked tubes, etc? Or has DH had a SA?

    Sorry for the lack of information.. I know that was a little vague..I am at work ;) It has been 3 and half years for us being totally off contraceptives and and only about 2 years of really trying. We put off having tests run due to expenses and we just had them done around Christmas. I chart my ovulation by CM and OPK's. I had a Progesterone level blood test and an HSG, which came back positive and the Dr. said I was ovulating. My hubby had several SA done and they were very good as well. The last of these test,HSG, were done mid January. Dr. said keep trying and if nothing happened by March come back. We didn't really do much BDancing in Feb. because I my brother died and I was a little depressed... I think he did not prescribe Clomid because he said I am ovulating. I am going to pay attention to and study the signs of my body and if nothing happens by May I am going to see a fertility specialists...

    I was really hoping that the trouble board was not the right one for you.  I'm so sorry that it's been such a long and hard road.  This truly is an amazing place to recieve (and hopefully give) support to women in the (sadly) same boat as you.  I hope that you don't need the specialist in May.  I am also so sorry to hear of the loss of your brother.  So sad.  Good luck and I hope that you will come back and find what you seek here :)

    Sorry to hear about your brother.

    If you guys have been trying for 2 years and all test have come back normal, hopefully a referral to a RE will get you guys the help you need.

    Hey hun. I am so sorry to hear that you have had trouble TTC. We all know how difficult it is. Just to give you some information about me, I have had really tender boobs for a week now and I know I am not pregnant. It's sometimes an early indication of AF. I hope that in your case, you are pregnant but don't depend on that symptom alone. Just wait it out and see. That's my only recommendation. Good luck this month!
