@BusinessWife Fx so hard for you! @JuneRoseRuby I'm sorry for the BFN. *hugs* @ndz2018 Glad to hear you have a plan going forward and such awesome insurance! The IUI went well, and we're trying not to get our hopes up too much. MH is usually able to not think too much about ttc, but he's really getting his hopes up this time. Fx it works!
@juneroseruby@purplg8r so sorry for your BFNs. This whole IF stuff is just plain heartbreaking.
AFM our one egg didn't fertilize. So we're officially benched for the rest of the month as there's no TWW if you know your egg is already in the medical waste bin. DH is really affected this time, which hurts me even more. RE will call onMonday. Then to make a plan for what and when for cycle 3.

@purpleg8r so sorry about AF. Hopefully moving onto iuis can be a relief. ❤
@JuneRoseRuby oh no... that is so hard. My heart goes out to you with tjat. As long as the internet is correct, our EDD for this transfer would be the centennial anniversary of my dad's birthday. I mean, it's just another day... but I know how hard you just have been hoping for it to line up like that, bc I'm right there with you.... (((hugs)))
Longtime lurker, finally feel like it’s time to jump in on posting. While I’m new to the board, I don’t feel new to the process (unfortunately) so I’ll just intro here, if that’s okay. Let me know if I need to include anything else
Diagnosis (If you've been)
the one we’re currently working with - luteal phase defect and mild MFI (morph)
My favorite (from an RE I quickly stopped seeing) “Maybe unsymptomatic PCOS. I bet if you gained 40lbs and gave it 6 months it would show up”
Cycle/CD: not sure - Around 2 years. CD 14.
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): WTO
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?)
Femara with the plan of IUI. Had my first US today since I usually O around day 18. 3 follies, biggest at 15mm. Next US scheduled for Wednesday.
How are things going?
Cautiously optimistic since this current RE at least paid attention to the fact that my LP is a consistent 10 days despite previous rounds of Femara and oral progesterone supplements. Plan is to monitor the LP closely and try non-oral progesterone to see if we can get a handle on it.
If not, an even mix of terrified/excited for IVF in January.
Any questions?

@emmasemm I'm so sorry to hear that the mature egg didn't fertilize. I know it can be so, so hard for the partners in all of this. My DH breaks my heart with his comments sometimes, like all he can contribute is helping with shots. IF is so painful and unfair. It sounds like you are up for additional retrievals in the future, so I hope that your RE can give you some good options for a future protocol. @zwink1 I hope that Tuesday will still be the day for you and that they are able to nudge that ovary down during the retrieval. @shortstack930 I'm glad to hear that you had perfect timing. It's so hard not to get frustrated and lose hope during all of this. Crossing everything that this is your time! @JuneRoseRuby I'm so, so sorry for your BFN. It's so frustrating for us to get to the point of getting everything organized for a donor and then face the whiteness of the test strips. It sounds like this was an especially hard hit for you with the special date. I'm really pulling for our MFI ladies to have major success in the coming months. @ndz2018 WOW, yes, you do have amazing insurance! I hope all goes well as you prepare for your ER and FET in the new year. @halfanewt Welcome to the board. I hope all looks good on Wednesday for you.
