He likes classic names and I like more modern/unique but not weird names, so we never agree on anything! The boy name for our son wasn't this hard!!

Last night was pretty cringy. I was obligated to attend my grandma's church dinner to which I was very sure she was going to make a giant fuss about me being pregnant and I was going to be touched often. I was right. I sat next to her, every word out of her mouth was something about me to other people, she began telling people it was a girl (we don't know yet) so I had to correct her, and she did not take her hands off me or my stomach unless we were eating. I was so uncomfortable with the belly rubbing, especially because the baby is still down by my vagina. You're rubbing my fat, thanks. While eating she was telling people I was eating for two... I love my grandma but she is the most obnoxious person in my life.

@theletlers minivans are the best inventions in the world! We got ours from our in-laws a few months ago and I'll never go back. The sliding doors alone are soooooo worth it!

Omg idk if this is because it's my second kid but I am majorly sucking at taking weekly bump photos. For my first I was diligent and even made a cool timelapse video where it started at week 8 and ended on week 39 with DS in my arms being held where my bump was. Auuuugh I need to start. I wanted to be able to compare the 2 . Need motivation / maybe a reminder in my phone?? Lol anyone else slacking in things for their second?

I'm about 12 weeks, this is my first and I haven't taken any bump photos! Right now I believe it's all just fat and bloat so I refuse to be photographed and I love pictures! I'm waiting until I have a distinct bump and then taking some! Lol.

@sparklingdiamond we had the opposite problem last time. I chalk it up to DH playing so many sports growing up and even now. Apparently there are a lot of assholes out there lol so our girls name list was way easier. We ended up agreeing on a few boys names and lo and behold we had a boy (team green).
This time we will be finding out so I'm waiting till after the anatomy scan to start the name list madness

Bought paint today for the nursery! I originally was going to go with a teal and beige but stuck with teal and changed the other color to a grey. Super excited! We're going to try to paint next weekend before it gets too cold and before the holidays.

Girls names are definitely crazy hard. Every time we figure it out, we decide we haven’t. I mean we have a name but there’s a massive issue with it.

So so my ex husband and his wife copy everything that I do. Seriously. It’s psychotic. They were supposedly having a little boy but turns out it was a girl. So they used MY girl name. He knew it was the name I always wanted to use. They dropped one letter from it.

I love the name. I want to use the name. But I don’t want anyone to think I used “their” name. When it wasn’t theirs. They didn’t come up with it. But I always want to break the ties and use the damn name and stop letting them think they won anything.

Girls names are incredibly hard for us, too. Doesn't help that we already have two girls and both have huge families. Ugh.
@onesmallcoconut I didn't take pictures with my girls until I got an actual belly. This time, like @mmb4532 said, it's all just fat being pushed up, so I refuse to take pictures yet.
@charlestonchew I would be so annoyed. My daughters and niece have been "petting" the baby, and I'm like, yeah, that's just my fat. Of course, I let them get away with it, because they're 5 and 3, so I can't even imagine how annoyed I would be if it was adults doing it.

@bwow615 @sandbar517 at the end of the day, people can think what they want but HE knows the truth. Seriously they’re insane. Down to i started doing LLR and now she does....NUTS. I don’t feel like his wife knew.

@theletlers im jealous of yo minivan life!! I want sliding doors so bad but alas it’s not a big enough vehicle.
