Re: Weekly Randoms 11/6

  • Ok, so I don't want to keep beating a dead horse, but I feel like this board is back to being super slow.  I'm tempted to start a poll to see if we should bring back either the day of the week ticker changes OR the daily check in (but definitely not both in addition to the due date check in).  Thoughts?  Do people like the slower board?

  • Also, I got more jelly beans today yum!
  • You guys, they took Minions off of Netflix :disappointed:  DS loved that movie!
  • @sandbar517 I like the idea of a onesie or something like that. Probably a cheaper gift option lol.

I'm gonna do some pinterest searching probably.
  • @sandbar517 I feel like this board is slow and that people don't really engage back and forth on a lot of the posts/check-ins.  I am up for more posts or threads.
  • @MissusTexas I am so sorry for your loss.  It is always hard to lose a pet.  We had to put one of ours to sleep earlier this year because she just wasn't getting better.  It was so hard.
  • @MissusTexas I am so sorry for your loss.
  • @MissusTexas I'm sorry. That's so hard especially on the kiddos!
  • @babys_2018 We have been doing product reviews each week so that people can post what they have used and the pros and cons.
  • @MissusTexas I'm so sorry for your loss. Pets are family and losing one is never easy. I grew up with lots of animals and your think over time you'd grow more accustom to loss, but you never do. Each one always hold a special place in your heart. Your Miko was a beautiful pup and obviously very well loved.  <3
  • @missusTexas - I am sorry for your loss. Losing a pet is never easy :(
  • @MissusTexas I'm so sorry for you and your family. Our lab was diagnosised with anemia this summer and we were told he likely has cancer causing it,it just feels like a waiting game now.

Take comfort in the fact yh is working through his grief in what seems a productive manner. MH lost his father, and both grandmothers in 9 months. I don't think he processed well and occasionally shuts down and gets angry when I suggest changing something in our soon to be forever home that was his father's. He is attached to some of the silliest things, but not things I feel need attaching. Like the 40 million tittle posters all over the workshop and "man cave" that's really a recroom that everyone uses including children.

Oh clearly I've missed this. In what thread?
  • @MissusTexas, I'm sorry for your fur baby loss.

There have been different threads for the different products.  So far there's been cribs, car seats, strollers... IDK

  • I like the color green
  • @justsuzie No she didn’t! Good for you on getting back to the gym. I know how hard it can be!

@jhysmath Wow, I’m sorry YH hasn’t been able to process those losses. I’m sure it’s frustrating when he seems to take it out on you.
I’m so sorry about your lab.  We scanned and tested for everything that could cause the IMHA in our dog but everything from tick-borne illnesses to cancer but it was all negative. Our vet thinks it was likely a reaction to the rabies vaccine, which he’s had before but apparently it can happen.
