@8bithearts I LOOOOVE that!! Everett was top of my list but DH vetoed it - it's the name of a very nearby town to ours, lol. Archer is one of my faves also.
@peppersmith22, I live in Godless Seattle so I think of the song "Hey There Delilah" before I think of "Sampson and...". I think it's a super cute name though.

From the beginning we've agreed on a boy name : Cooper Michael
What we can't agree on is a girls names. Right now the only one we agree on is Shelby Anne, but I'm not 100% sold. Mainly because I'm annoyed that DH veto's alllll of my favorite names.
@toesinthesand-2 I DESPERATELY wanted to use Ellis. For the longest time while we were TTC I was convinced if we had another girl we would name her Ellis Irene. I still love that name but DH loves Elena and I picked our first daughters name so I’m letting him take this one!
Me (33). DH (37). DD (2.2012). MCs x4. After 4 years & 7 months, due 4.2018!
@psuxray07 well I was definitely raised in the burbs but moved about 20 minutes away from there to the outskirts of Chester County that we’re almost in Lancaster County. The houses next to our very small development are Amish families.
@psuxray07 Love it! I miss the Farmer's Market. I'm sure you know its claim to fame is that's where Auntie Ann's started. Regardless, such a small world!
@toorahloorah I had no idea!! My dad used to take us there and we always got pizza. That's awesome, lol. DS and I go to the mall a lot of Saturdays so he can play at the playplace and we always get Auntie Anne's. Yummm.
***I guess I should add because I forgot this is the name thread (haha oopsies!), that we recently found out we're having a girl and decided on Kassie Rose.
Rosalie was my top choice if we were having a girl. Alas, we are having a boy!
my husband and I tend to have very different tastes in names. He liked really popular names. I like them too but the baby's last name will be smith.. so i feel the top ten names are just not options. hubby doesn't care.
I like Simon, Judah and Nikolai.
he likes Benjamin. I actually like Benji but still not convinced by a top ten name. I think he likes Kai too. which is pretty popular in Sf but i could deal with.
Has anyone had such a hard time they have or are planning on taking a list with you to the hospital? If so, how many were/are on your list? Ours is at 16, if it's a girl. I'm thinking we need to make some cuts.

I was team green last time too. I have a definitive boy name and three girl names all using same middle name. Of course I had a girl.
@peppersmith22 thanks! It's part of my grandmother's first name, and I love it in a middle name spot. An option was Elizabeth, which is my MN, but Rose is so much better, lol.
@mmmmkayWe're Smith's too! Same problem! I used the howmanyofme.com site to look and see how many ____ Smith's there would be depending on what name we pick. I also love Rosalie!
@psuxray07 I love using family names as middle names. We will incorporate Thomas if it is a boy (FIL) or Sue if it is a girl (part of my mom's name).
@frenchiekinplusone @dirtyboots @tooraloorah @danjoly @hedgepig @g_amoss Thanks for your thoughts on Oliver! It's a name I always loved, but has always been a hard no for DH. Suddenly he is warming up to it now and I'm shocked! As of right now, I think our #1 boy name is Oliver Emmett. I also really like the name Sutton for a boy, but DH thinks it's too feminine sounding. Thanks, Sutton Foster
Mama to Rowan Sebastian and baby boy coming in April!
We have decided on a name. Derek Theodore. Neither of us love the name Derek, but it's my FIL's name and he is literally the greatest human I know. Since it's our last baby I think it's very fitting. I feel very at peace with it. The minute it came out of my mouth as a suggestion I knew that was his name.
LOVE the name Isla! We have been to Scotland a few times since we have family there and we love the name Isla if the baby is a girl - but, I have to say, I'm a little worried that it will always be mis-pronounced and mis-spelled and I wonder if that would make her dislike her name?
My husband and I made a deal way before we got pregnant. He could choose the initials but I had complete control over the name. After vetoing initials like fuk and suk etc. he settled on luk. There aren’t too many L names I like and forget about U but I’ve settled on Lukas Urban

my daughter (5) is convinced this baby is a girl and her name is Scarlett. It wasn’t my first pick but I can say I don’t think it’s a bad idea!
