@kbamomma33 love that name combo and I don’t think 2 A names are weird at all! Go with it, it’s hard to agree on names!

Definitely not weird, nothing wrong with it at all. My son is Bradley and this one will likely be Gabriella, with a nickname of Brielle

I thought we were settled on Anna Jean, but I keep wavering on the middle name. Jean has a lot of sentimental value, but I’m still on the fence.

    Thoughts on:

    Anna Jean
    Anna Elizabeth
    Anna Teresa
    Anna Virginia
    Anna Olivia

    ???

@Puddlewonderful Anna Jean is my fave of your list, followed by Anna Olivia. Maybe Anna Jane? I love Anna, btw!

@Puddlewonderful I like Anna Jean and Anna Elizabeth the best.  The others don't seem to flow as well as those 2 :)

I've become obsessed with E names for baby girl but I'm having a hard time finding one that works. Ellie is my favorite but is also the name of DH's ex-gf so it's definitely out. I like NNs like Elle, Em, Elsie, etc., but none of them as a stand-alone name. I like Emilia but DH isn't crazy about that spelling. Any favorites you ladies can recommend?

We're having trouble coming up with girl names. The only name we both kinda like is Emma, but it's so popular, that I'm having second thoughts. DS is Wyatt Reece (Reece is his middle name), and I'd like a name that sounds good with Wyatt. What do you all think of Teagan or Quinn for a girl name? I might like Quinn more, but am not sure about middle names that go well with it. Thoughts/suggestions?

@irenejean I like Quinn! I'm having the same problem with the name Emma even though I love it.

Okay so I was about to say any middle name pairs with Quinn and to suggest Quinn Elizabeth...which I then heard in my head as Queen Elizabeth. So yeah, maybe middle names are tricky with that one!

@jbn999 Thanks that's a great suggestion! Do you think Everly is too much with a long last name that starts with V? Or maybe I'm just overthinking it?

@kaymaroo I think Everly is a great name! I don't think it would be too much with a long last name that starts with V. How many syllables is your last name? I know a last name with 4 syllables that starts with a V, and when I think of Everly with that last name, it doesn't seem too long to me.

It sounds like DH prefers Teagan to Quinn. I suppose we could always go with Teagan Quinn for a first and middle name. I was kinda liking Quinn Ivy for a minute.

@kaymaroo I actually think it would go cute with a "V" last name since there is a "V" in the first name.  Our DS has a first and last name with the same sound and we love it.  However, I don't know your last name so you would know better if it goes together!

Some other E names I had on my list were (spellings negotiable): Elowyn/Ellawyn, Ellison, Emery and my DH liked Emerson.

@irenejean I love both Teagan and Quinn! They were both on our short list. I was actually going to suggest Teagan Quinn, but I like Quinn Ivy too. Also- I love your DS's name!

@kaymaroo I love Everly as well - one of my close friends named his daughter that and I just thought it was so beautiful! Eloise is on our list as well. Ellie would be the nickname we’d use, but you could always use Lo or Elsie as the NN instead. I also love the nickname Emme (pronounced Emmy), could be short for Emmeline which is similar to Emilia. Esme was also on my list but DH nixed it. I had a thing with E names too at the beginning!

Thanks guys! Everly has a lot of common sounds with our last name so the more I think about it the more I'm leaning towards no, although I do LOVE the name. Emery and Elise are pretty too--you guys have such great suggestions!

@kaymaroo - is Ella too close? I also like Evelyn for an E name, but Everly is cute too.

@irenejean - Teagen Quinn is cute!

I taught a little girl named Ellery one year! I always thought it was such a pretty name, and you could use the nn Elle then! Her sister’s name was Erelyn, which I also found to be very pretty, but still similar enough to more popular names like Evelyn.

@kaymaroo my daughter's name is Emmeline (i pronounce it that the last syllable rhymes with pine but i think it is supposed to rhyme with bean).  we call her emmy or emmylou for short.  I liked that it was a common and easy nickname with a more unique full name,

@alysiabryant221 my best friend named her daughter that this past summer!  So I am clearly biased but I LOVE the names together, so pretty.

We picked out our little boy’s name super early in the pregnancy. It’ll be Atlas Myles! I told my husband he could name the boy’s name if it ended up being a boy, he loved the name Atlas for some reason, I have no idea where it came from. But I did help him out with the middle name because he was stuck, I suggested Miles, but I like different spelling for names so I swapped the i for a y

Really struggling with girl names. Top choice right now is Mia Isabella. Middle name is definitely going to be Isabella after my mother. Other options are Aria and a name we kind of like is Raelynn or Raylee. Any suggestions?

    @mommyandshell
I really struggled with girl names too. I always think of weird letter and sound constrictions. I like all your name suggestions but here are my thoughts... Love Raelynn but the flow with Isabella is a little hard. Mia and Aria have the same ending a sound as Isabella.
suggesting: Alice Isabella, Ivy Isabella, Zoey Isabella, Kylie Isabella, Grace Isabella, Bree Isabella, Jade Isabella.

@afmom96 I love Atlas! Would never have thought of that but its such a good boy name!

Our girl names are down to Nora and Catherine (Kate for short). I like both but I'm slightly partial to Catherine/Kate, whereas DH is pretty dead-set on Nora.

I'm avoiding picking a boy name because DH and I are in complete disagreement. He's always wanted to name a son Russell, after his grandpa. I like the name Russell, but my oldest son is Jack. Anyone else think Jack and Russel call to mind the dog breed? Or am I over-thinking it?
I agree with the dog breed - that's definitely the idea people will get.
