Hi lovely ladies! I didn't see a Dec FET thread started yet, so I thought I would get on the ball! I had a FET on October 11th which resulted in a beta of 12, essentially a CP. I'm moving forward with a tentative December FET with our second and last frozen embie. I'm currently finishing AF this cycle and will have my endometrial activation on 11/17. As long as AF arrives again before end of November, we will be set for December transfer. If it comes later, we will have to be pushed until the new year as my RE clinic is closed the week of Christmas and New Years for any ER or FET. Anyone else out there planning for december??

Re: December FET
We are scheduled for a December 15 FET. (They currently have me on BC to keep everything quiet and make sure we can transfer on that day.) We just got our PGS report yesterday for the embryos that could be tested and 2/3 were normal. (We have another 3 frozen that will remain untested.) I'm really excited that we have just a month and a half left. I've been lurking the other FET threads to learn along the way.

@prudence9-2 My RE described it as basically going in and “scratching” the endometrium. It will sort of scar over and she said there are new studies that show this may increase the chance of the embryo getting something to sort of grab hold of and sticking. I had it done with my ER in September in prep for my October FET, although I was asleep. This one I won’t be of course, which makes me a little nervous to be aware that it’s getting scratched lol. She said I should be fine by taking a few ibuprofen before hand.

Good luck to everyone and hopeful that this will be our month.
@alohakumu- congrats on the great PGS results!! I will be around 12/15 too hopefully, so hoping the next 6 weeks go as fast as possible
@latvaughanash- I will be doing a natural stimulated cycle too, since my lining has been great on my fresh cycles. Sorry to hear about your failed cycle this fall, but FX this is your transfer! Did they do a saline or hysterscopy or more testing after your last cycle?
@bethann1022- I have been on these boards for a while now, so I have definitely seen your story before. I really hope you are able to get in a transfer before the end of the year too! It sounds like your new RE is amazing based on another post I think I saw. so hopeful this is your time!
@dragonette505- Aren't you joining us here too!?
I am excited to *hopefully* get to transfer this month. I'm honestly nervous I am jinxing myself by even joining yet, based on what has happened the last few months. My whole history is in my siggy. Longgg story short, after 3 failed IVFs we decided about 6 months ago to start the donor egg process. It took 2 months for our donor to be
finish the cycle she was in, and 2 more months for her schedule to work out. Then at baseline in early sept, it was discovered she was pregnant. We had to start over and find a new donor. Luckily we found one who was available and had 3 good cylcles already. We synced cycles and was supposed to transfer on Monday, but my lining was a little thin and then they found fluid in my uterus, so we had to cancel. Yesterday my saline sono showed a polyp, so now we are having a hysterscopy to remove it on 11/14. After that, I will stop the pill and hopefully start a natural stimulated FET (like a fresh IVF, but no ER). and hopefully transfer between 12/5-12/15. We were thrilled to get 12 frozen blasts from our donor eggs, so hopefully we will get this to work in December!

I am happily joining the December FET group! Some of you I already know and I am excited to meet the rest of you!
A little bit about our IF journey, trying for 2 years with Dx unexplained, TW* then I had an EP in May 2017 and when I had surgery to remove it my Dr took a look at my tubes and we got our answer- I have severe scarring on the tubes ( even though I only have one left now) so IVF is our only option. *end TW We did our first IVF cycle in September, fresh transfer ended in CP. But luckily we still have 3 frosties waiting so I am excited to start our FET journey. The FET is scheduled for December 1st, my Doctor is somewhat conservative so we are doing long protocol with Lupron which I started injecting recently. Next step is base line on November 8th. Fingers crossed everything is on track!
And I hope that December is the Month for all of us! Holiday BFP's are the best!

This is my very first time on these boards, but hope I will be welcome on this thread. I am having my first FET in the beginning of Dec. I don't have an exact date yet. I had my ER back in early Sept and am getting restless with the delays for my FET. I have one good quality PGS tested normal embryo on ice right now so I am excited but also very nervous. I just did a mock cycle with ERA since we want to be as prepared as possible.
Best of luck to everyone for Dec!
@AlohaKumu & @JamieH2000 & @latvaughanash & @DecemberDoll27 & @suziev3 - Welcome! I am glad we got this thread started and look forward to hearing about your journeys. FX for all of you!!
AFM, attempting FET#5 (with embies #6 & #7) on approx 12/7. Have a scheduled call with our RE on Tues, the 7th, to get a consensus on the best guess as to why FET#2-4 did not take, given my only issue is being anovulatory (hence IVF) and -*TW*- having success with FET#1 in Oct 2015 with an uneventful, normal pregnancy -*TW End*-. All bloodwork came back normal and the lining was perfectly in the middle of "normal," hence our frustration at the moment. (Also, since all of our blastocysts were initially frozen - fear of OHSS - and such a high number, we didn't do any PGS ... and given that they are frozen, we feel the risk to do the PGS now is greater than the benefits).
Me - anovulatory, non-Insulin PCOS, DH - low end of "normal" sperm count
IUI#1 - 02/15 - Cancelled due to scrubbed sperm count <1MM
IVF#1 - 08/15 - 13x5-day blastocysts (ranging from AA-BB, most are 5 or 6), not PGS, on ice
FET#1 - 10/15 - 1 emb - BFP (DD 07/16) (estrace + PIO sesame oil + prometrium)
FET#2 - 07/17 - 1 emb - BFN (estrace + PIO sesame oil + prometrium)
FET#3 - 08/17 - 1 emb - BFN (estrace + PIO sesame oil + prometrium)
FET#4 - 10/17 - 2 emb - BFN (changed to estrace + prometrium because of allergic reaction to PIO sesame oil)
ERA Testing - 12/17 - window moved (-1 day)
FET#5 - 03/18 - 2 emb - BFN (estrace + prometrium, ERA-timing used)
Karyotype Testing - 04/18 - Negative (we're ok)
FET#6 - 06/18 - 2 emb - BFN (estrace + prometrium, ERA-timing used)
FET#7 - 10/18 - 2 emb - BFN (estrace + prometrium, ERA-timing used)
FET#8 - 11/18 - 2 emb - BFP; looks like one baby is going to make it, DD is due 8/16 (though likely to be 8/9)
@decemberdoll27- Good to see you here, and I think you kick off the month! I think your name is going to bring good luck to our board
@suziev3- welcome!! I bet you are ready to get transferring! I assume your ERA came back all good then?
@mamak225- what a long hard road! I really really hope this is your month! I was on a board earlier this year with a girl who had twins and was on her 5th FET for #2, and it finally worked! I would be frustrated in your case too.. maybe throw the kitchen sink at it with an endo scratch too? I assume you have recently had a saline or hysterscopy to check for polyps/fibroids (see my post above).
AFM- just waiting for AF to get here. Then i start BC right away, until my hysterscopy on 11/14. I am worried that I will only be on the pill for maybe 10 days. and then I am supposed to stop and get at least a light bleed. I just had a friend try something like this and now she is in limbo hell since her period didn't come after only being on the pill for 10 days. Has anyone else been able to get a light period after only half the normal BC days?

@JamieH2000 I should have the ERA results back in 10 days or so and hopefully everything will continue as planned. I do have an issue with thin(ish) lining as well (6.5 is about the best I can seem to do), so hopefully that doesn't cause a delay. I guess we are all familiar with delays here. Congrats on 12 frozen!
Anyway... right now I'm on the books for an FET so I will probably hang out here till I figure out what I'm doing!

Got my ERA results back and it was pre-receptive. So I am definitely glad I did it. Doctor wasn't at the office when I called him so he couldn't recall if it was 12 or 24hrs off. All the meds take longer for me than the average person for some reason so I wasn't really surprised. The transfer is still on for probably the first week of Dec. This is my only embryo from my first IVF and my first FET and I'm very nervous about getting the timing right. He did not suggest we do a second ERA, but I know that is a thing. I am past ready to get this FET going but now I am worried I should ask about a second ERA. Anyone have experience with this? Thoughts?
Hi Everyone! I thought I would join you all on the December thread.
We have 2 PGS normal embabies in the bank and I just started stims for IVF#3. We are going to send the blasts from IVF#3 out for PGS and do a FET with one of previously tested embryos 5 days after the Egg retrieval. So probably sometime in the last week of November and I’ll have my beta well into December J. This is our first transfer in over a year (last FET October 2016), and this is the first time we will be transferring a PGS tested embryo!

@2momshoping- Hi! I recognize your name since I have been on these boards for 1.5 years now. I really really hope this is your THB! You have had quite the road and soo deserve success! Your odds should be great with a PHS embryo! I will be doing a stimulated FET (so stimming, but just no ER), so we can hopefully be "stim buddies"
AFM- just waiting for my hysterscopy to remove the polyp tomorrow. I believe I will be stopping BC after tonight and hopefully get a light bleed (I was only on BC for 8 days). Then I would have baseline and start stimming. Trying not to get my hopes up too much, because it seems like nothing ever goes according to plan... Just trying to take it one day at a time.

Hi @JamieH2000 your name looks familiar to me too! Seeing familiar names out there brings me a certain level of comfort like I’m not the only one struggling with this for so long and then I instantly feel awful because I don’t want anyone going through this. I’m so excited that you have 12 blasts to work with. Maybe both of us are going to see a light at the end of this long tunnel. I hope your period comes for you, 8 days just seems really short!
@AlohaKumu lol believe me I would love nothing more to bring a BFP! :P
Welcome @laurad75

@laurad75- good to see you on this board too
@2momshoping- I know how you feel! Its nice to know I am not alone in still being at this... but also don't want anyone else to have to go through this that long I know.. 8 days is short.. Hopefully they will have instructions for me after the procedure tomorrow, or I will have to email my nurse to confirm. It sounds like if I don't get a bleed within a week, I will come in for a baseline to see whats going on. I think as long as the lining is thin-ish and follicles weren't too large yet, they would let me start stimming. we will see!
