    @DecemberDoll27 @JamieH2000
    Thanks! My clinic doesn’t have me testing until the 18th. So I will be using cheapies, but I get why people advise against it.  Best of luck JamieH2000. Try not to get discouraged yet DecemberDoll27. I am just starting my TWW so I’m sure I will be going through the whole rollercoaster of thoughts and emotions too.  Stay strong. It’s still so early.
  • @JamieH2000 my transfer was on 12/5 and my beta is scheduled for 12/14 so I am patiently waiting / going insane haha I feel very crampy but it’s prob just the medication . I honestly feel like I’m getting my period but I’m not and I’ve never had a glimpse of a pregnancy so I wouldn’t know what symptoms to even feel anyways
  • @DecemberDoll27.  I should mention that there is also a biopsy on the embryo and freezing fee from the embryologists.   My insurance also didn’t pay that (because its such a great idea to just throw a ton of fresh embryos in…grrr).  Anyways I think it was 900 for the biopsy and I honestly have no idea what the freezing fee was maybe 1700?.    *TW -For me nothing has set in yet, we have had so many losses I just keep thinking that this is temporary.   I’m hoping after the ultrasound I might be able to believe it a bit more. END TW*

    @suziev3 @JamieH200 @saba23 and @erasho happy PUPO/PASP (pregnant and staying pregnant)

    @msd1001 I think lots of couples have a similar dynamic to you.  To an extent me and my wife trade off.  When her friend gets pregnant she’s upset and I’m comforting her, when its my friend it’s the other way around.  When the cycles fail I’m always upset first and then when I’m feeling better she breaks down.  I think we are mostly miserable most of the time though to be honest.

  • @JamieH2000 Good luck! By now you must be PASP, Congratulations!!
  • @DecemberDoll27 I am feeling defeated as well:/ I am only 3 days past my transfer and literally since 1 day past I feel like my period is coming.  Always the week before my period I get bloated really bad PMS and back pain and that is exactly how I feel. I have been on the progesterone vaginal suppositories for over a week and I was fine up until after my transfer with cramping because I felt like if it was from the progesterone I would’ve felt like this from the beginning. I Just have this feeling that it’s not gonna work because I feel the same way I felt after every failed IUI And every failed cycle that me and my husband have tried. So I am being a negative as well !  my husband tells me try not to think about it but it’s kind a hard when you have patches all over your belly as a reminder in your inserting medicine into your vagina three times a day as a reminder ha ha Ha. I still hope for our BFP but if not we have some Frosty’s on ice that we should be positive about.

    AFM Of course I have a skill that has become a nightmare through this infertility process in that i I am an ultrasound technician so I have access to seeing what is going on in my ovaries and uterus at all times! And I caved today and scanned myself!   I should’ve never done it because of course everything appears like it did three days ago at my transfer and I figured if anything was implanting that the endometrium would be Slightly different but it’s not. :( I still have a little while before testing which is next Thursday but for some reason I am being so negative today.
  • @jamieH2000 Beta Buddy! Hmm, I don't know.  Maybe 6 days? 8 days? How early is too early to test?
    I will also be doing a lot of fake drinking this holiday season. Cranberry juice prob.  Having to explain why I am not drinking is going to be awkward but I also don't want to just hide out at my house all month.  I have already been "sick" way too many times this year.
  • @msd1001- That is a double edged sword forsure!  Its way too early, so I still feel very hopeful for you! Of course it would be nice to have some symptom or sign that it was working... I am less than 24 hours from transfer and I have already been hoping I would feel something or cramps to give me a hint if the embryos were implanting, so I get it!

    @suziev3- I think people start getting positives at 5 days, but some not until 9 or even 10! I think it all depends on how seeing an early negative would make you feel. Of course the flip side is that if you get an early positive, you feel happy that much sooner!  Cranberry juice is a good idea for fake drinking! I am trying to eat healthy/limit sugar as much as I can, so I am thinking soda water with lime since most people know I drink vodka sodas sometimes..

    i know now what you mean about fake drinking...

    also once a year, I say that I’m doing alcohol cleanse... I used the cleanse a year ago after my first transfer and I think I will use this excuse again with my next transfer. But yeah, during holiday season no one is doing cleanses. Haha. My transfer is at the end of January. So I’ll probably do a cleanse in February ;)

  • @decemberdoll27 Good luck today, hoping you get positive results and maybe not feeling symptoms was a good thing for you this cycle!

    @businesswife congrats on the good lining, happy you getting to move forward and have another transfer right before Christmas!  Sounds like you will be my closest transfer buddy this cycle so far anyway, mine is planned for the 20th.  Jealous they are already checking your lining, my clinic only does estrogen checks until 2 weeks after starting estrace, as long as levels are good they increase oral dose (started on 1mg twice daily, then 2mg twice daily, now am up to 2mg 3x/day).  I have my lining check on Thursday morning and as long as it is over 8, trilaminar and E2 is over 200, plan will be to start PIO that night with transfer next Wednesday.  How much estrogen do they have you on?

    @laurad75 sooo excited for your HPT results, you have had such a long journey and deserve this so much, can't wait for your beta tomorrow.

    @radmom27 you POAS on 4dp5dt?  what was the result (only if you want to share of course)?

    @jamieH2000 congrats on the smooth transfer experience on Friday, when is your beta again and will you test at home first?

    AFM,  sorry I haven't been updating too frequently, this month is so busy, which is a good thing and a bad.  Definitely helping time pass really quickly, but honestly, I have so much to do and not nearly enough time.  Finally really physically feeling better, cough is still lingering, but at least I'm able to function each day.  Decorated my house this weekend, got the tree up, and my husband and I just need to finish hanging the decorations tomorrow.  Took my mom to a Christmas concert on Saturday night as a gift which was really nice and then yesterday finished most of my shopping.

    Excited for the holidays, but every year after they are over I promise myself I won't stress as much the next year and then of course revoke on that promise by December!

    I had my second E2 test last Friday, level was 143 I believe which they said was very good, they like to see it 120-150.  Still find it intriguing that they monitor it so closely, whereas my last clinic didn't even check it and when I forced them to right before transfer it was only 140 and they said that was fine.  Anyway, increase my dose of estrace as planned to 2mg 3x/day and have my first (and hopefully only) lining check and final E2 check on Thursday morning.  If everything looks good, I will start my high dose of PIO that night.  My RN called me the other day to confirm that I took such a high dose before as she said they usually have people taking 1/2 cc for 2 days and then 1 cc daily, and I am on double that and for six days before transfer, but that is what worked for the ERA so that is what we will go with.

    We are going away this weekend, my husband and I have a tradition of going to a Christmas musical/show the weekend before Christmas and this year, I actually got him tickets to see his favorite magician, Chris Angel so we will enjoy a couple nights away Thursday-Saturday, which I am looking forward to.

    How is everyone else doing?  Hopefully coping well with this stressful season!

  • @bethann1022 I will for sure have a WTF appointment with my RE! But to tell you the truth the embie did not thaw correctly, so it was not fully expanded post thaw when transferred.  I asked the embryologist about it and he brushed my question off saying it is all part of the process. However after googling it I found out that chances with not fully expanded ones are way lower. I will also ask about endometrial scratch and embryo glue. I have 2 more day 6 blasts and I want to give them every chance possible. I also want to transfer these two together but DH is not having it...

    @laurad75 I am still super excited for you! I will be hanging out here to hear about everybody's betas! Good luck, you are next tomorrow and you will get great results!

  • @decemberdoll27- Not the news I was hoping to see. I hope you can come up with a good plan for the next transfer, and in the mean time enjoy the holidays as much as you can, though I know its hard to enjoy much of anything for a while after a BFN. Thinking of you!

    @bethann1022- Glad the new clinic is checking your levels more! and that you are following the PIO plan from your ERA! your transfer is gonna be here before you know it! My beta is Monday and I will likely test at home Sunday so I can hopefully get all my crying out before Monday work if its negative. Hopefully it will be good news and then I will have to wait only 24 hours for bloodwork to get the number... hoping this week goes fast for us both!
