I also use the alarm on my phone but I may have to do a visual calendar now that its getting more complicated. I add estrogen (2 pill/ day + patch every 3 days) next week when I get my period.

@Bababatty. Good luck today, transfer day buddy! I hope your first PIO shot wasn’t too bad.
I’m so glad to have finished the doxy so no worries I just have to worry about remembering the Estrace 3x/day and Endometrin 4x/day. My estrogen also went down with my lining (to like 458 from 500-something) with the progesterone, but my progesterone was only 9 yesterday (I swear I’ve had higher in natural rest cycles?). My clinic’s minimum is 6 (for progesterone and lining, incidentally), so they’re keeping me at the 4 Endometrin/day.
Mainly relying on not so reliable phone reminders for my meds. Off to Chick-fil-a for breakfast soon then to meet the acupuncturist. Managing the full bladder is trickier than I’d anticipated, but apparently they’ll take a look first to see how I’m doing.

Thanks for the info @alohakumu. I went to target and bought a white board. I’m
trying to organize it now. Thanks for ‘lurking’
and I hope you’re doing well!
@businesswife, @crystal321, @laurad75 and jamieh200 Thanks
for the great advice! Also, @businesswife on stashing the calendar when company
comes over! I didn’t even think of that. I love that you had cute stickers from
etsy. I am terrified of missing something and it’s a lot! @crystal321 Do you
have a lot of meds at noon? What is
plaqueinil? So the folic acid is separate from the pre-natal? My RE sent this
color coded graph thing that they swear by and it just confuses me and gives me
a worse headache than I already have.
@sunnyrain2 so what day do you do the HCG? I am taking HCG
to trigger 7 days before FET then more 2 days before (last day of Lupron) and
then another dose four days after my FET.
I feel like everyone’s protocol is different so I was interested when
you said you were taking it when you stop Lupron as well. My office does PIO for all FET’s too so you
aren’t alone and ouch. It’s great you
have a date! So exciting.

@adirat I was wondering the same thing about progesterone level but I have noticed that my clinic does not monitor as often as others. My last check was before starting progesterone and they actually just wanted to make sure it was low. They checked my lining, progesterone and estrogen at that appointment. I have no more lining checks or blood work prior to transfer which I’m worried about now since I didn’t know the progesterone makes your lining thinner.
Dont remember who was asking but my transfer is Saturday so I am off that day and will try to rest as much as possible. As crazy as it sounds we go to a football game the next day. My H bought tickets months ago and is super excited because that is the only time his team comes here so I’m going to go and just try to sit quietly lol.
AFM My clinic said the lab does not give any updates on the embryos until day 5 so I guess I won’t know anything until I go in for the transfer on Saturday. Just trying to tell myself that if none of them made it so far then they should have called to cancel me. It’s gonna be a long 2 days.
@safire3 They absolutely would have called if something was wrong. I bet the anticipation is super hard. Thank you so much for the info about the sticky stuff!

@safire3 Sorry you have to wait, but fx for a great report. Honestly, I haven’t found my day 3 reports all that meaningful (last cycle we lost 7 between day 3 and day 5 - but experience kind of prepared me for that). I have mixed feelings about knowing since there’s not really a whole lot we can do about it (and am feeling the same way about testing early). I am planning going in to work tomorrow, and I was actually thinking about going to our homecoming football game this Saturday, but decided against it because we have a party to go to on Sunday. Have fun at the game!
FET #1 done and we’re PUPO with a (PGS normal) 4AA embryo! Transfer went just fine and bladder was just right (thank goodness) - I even made it through my second 25 min (after) acu session without peeing first . We got a picture of our embryo and the acupuncturist gave me some “think positive” socks (with two pink lines) - although I opted to wear the over the knee smartwool ones I brought because they’re warmer. I managed to fall asleep during the second acu session but not the pre-transfer one. Was a pretty neat but brief show watching everything on the ultrasound. I’d never taken Valium before and I can’t say I’m impressed - but hopefully it did what it was supposed to do! We hadn’t done a mock transfer, but apparently it was pretty straightforward (kind of literally )
RE said I could take a HPT if I wanted - otherwise betas are next Saturday (11/11) and the following Monday (11/13). For some reason I didn’t expect it to be so soon.
Also, just to clarify, I got the hash brown scramble bowl with grilled chicken and no hashed browns from Chick-fil-a this morning - so still managed to avoid simple carbs!

@Irisheyes81 Sounds like they are having you do hcg boosters. It’s to help with progesterone. I did it for a couple of cycles and with my successful fresh transfer since I did a Lupron trigger
I think my hcg trigger will be 7 days prior to FET as well

@artemis618 Congrats on being PUPO! I'm glad everything worked out well. I'm sending you lots of sticky vibes. Your acupuncturist is so sweet to give you those 'think positive' socks. They must be so cute.
@adirat Are you taking it with food? This was my third course of it this year. I think we’re just supposed to not take it with dairy or magnesium or iron supplements (may compete with absorption) and not launch down . I took my first dose in the morning with a few crackers at least before heading to the gym in the morning. But I’ve definitely felt sick on it more than once. I hope you feel better, hang in there - you’re almost there!
I’m also *considering* testing the morning of my beta.

Thanks guys I am definitely trying to stay busy until Saturday!
Congrats @artemis618! I’m glad everything went well! I’m really hoping we get a pic of our embryo as well. I may have already bought a picture frame for it
@adirat that is why I hate doxycycline. If I take it on an empty stomach I will vomit it. If I don’t eat enough or let too much time pass between taking it and eating then I get nausea and sometimes stomach aches. If it’s bad or persistent, even with food then I would let your clinic know. Maybe they can switch to something else.
@irisheyes81 yah the folic acid is separate. I have a deficiency for whatever reason. I was originally prescribed metanx for it, but it was way too expensive.
The plaqueinil is some sort of steroid I believe that is supposed to help the lining be stickier I think? Truth be told, I don't ask a ton of questions anymore, and this is my first cycle using it.
And thanks everyone for the well wishes. This is my month! Third time's a charm, right?
Everything went well, the embryo was coming out of its shell already which the doctor said was a very good sign. Time to kick up my feet for three days!
Congratulations on being PUPO @Crystal321. I had a hatching blast (embryo coming out of the shell) as well. My MD was very optimistic about it and TW I found out yest that I’m pregnant! Beta was 366 at 9dp6dt. End TW. GL on your TWW. I know it’s the worst!
Hi all! Thank you so much for all of your positive thoughts and vibes, and good luck wishes!! The transfer itself was very smooth, although they were an hour behind schedule--which was quite uncomfortable bladder-wise. I'm feeling really good about it this cycle, and really happy that the first embie survived the thaw so we will have one more left. We don't get pictures of our embies, but they handed me the lid from the embie's petrie dish and the corresponding bracelet, both of which I've hung on the fridge (must remember to remove those when we have people over). I spent the rest of the day watching TV, and now I'm back at work. The hardest thing is trying to walk like a normal person, not my NYC pace, haha. My beta is 11/13. That seemed late, but I'll go with it. And I will definitely be POAS because I have no self control.
@artemis618 Congratulations on being PUPO!! Did you end up watching "The Meaning of Life"? I watched "Flowers in the Attic" because I wanted something really stupid and it did not disappoint in that regard. :-D
That's a good analogy about your lining. Now I'm going to think of linings as fluffy white bread, lol. I believe the suppositories I'm taking are Prometrium (the bottle doesn't actually say). My new protocol is 200mg 2 x day plus 1ml PIO each night. The Prometrium is so leaky (also TMI) and it's red, which is obnoxious.
@adirat The nurse told me they only just started checking everyone's progesterone so it sounds like it's not usual for your clinic not to do it. I'm glad they did check it because I have told them multiple times that I think I have low progesterone. It's worth asking about, especially if you have any concerns about your progesterone.
@Irisheyes81 I've been using cell phone alarms to moderate effect. There's also an app I found, Naula, which is specifically for tracking IVF things like meds and appointments. It worked much better, but it signed me out so I ended up just deleting it instead of trying to figure out my password again (while I was signed out, it continued to give me the alarms, but I couldn't add new things in). The hardest part for me has been remembering each morning which pill bottles I need to bring with me if I'm getting home late.
@sunnyrain2 Sorry for the delay for your FET date, but I'm glad you're getting started!
@safire3 I'm excited for your FET tomorrow!! I have everything crossed for your little embies.
@Crystal321 Congratulations on being PUPO!! Enjoy your weekend of rest.
@Bababatty Yay transfer day buddy - Congrats on being PUPO . I haven’t really paid much attention to my walking pace, but it did cross my mind just walking to the other side of our office floor this morning . We tried to watch Meaning of Life yesterday, but whatever we rented from Vudu had no sound . So we watched Wonder Woman, wedding video, and The Big Sick (which I found entertaining but not that funny - and with terrible sound - perhaps we should have tried fandango, though it’ll be on amazon prime 11/24). Red suppository is terrible! Whose idea was that? I actually kind of hoped my beta would be a couple of days later so I could go to my closest office for one of them - but of course I will make the (almost 40 mile!) drive.
ETA: It’s a good thing I decided to come to work today. DH sent these to my office to kick off our week and a half wait!

AFM: u/s this morning was good, but they want my lining to be a little thicker. I'm going to go in again next week, and it looks like the actual FET will be more like the 12/13/14 of November.
AFM, I had my last nasal spray last night and I'll have 3 estrogen patches today and just had my very first progesterone vag tablet which DH administered. I'm just lying in bed now to allow the medicine do its thing. What do you usually experience with these progesterone vag tabs?
Congratulations @ artemis618 and @Bababatty !!!! Omg I totally choked up when you said you had the little Petri dish lid and tag! I am a mess lol. So excited for more happy news in 10 ish days.... (((((hugs))))))
@tinjp78 the tablets are a breeze. I would love to take those over the shots. I had to take 3 tablets a day. The only thing I experienced on them was discharge, the same color as the tablet (white). Just carry panty liners with you at all times and you'll be fine. Best of luck!
@Crystal321 Thanks. It has been 6 hrs since my first progesterone tab and a slight headache is here. But this shouldn't be a problem. I've got a lot of stuff to do to prepare for my FET 11/6. I've got to shop for pineapples and stock up on basic necessities. I also have to re-arrange many things, to put heavy stuff on places I can reach easily so I wouldn't need to strain myself getting them.
Oh yeah, they will give you fake pregnancy symptoms when they start to build up in your system. Mine always give me wild dreams, fatigue, and watery mouth. I think they affect everyone a little differently. TW, these are always the first symptoms I have during the 1st tri though.
Good luck on the upcoming FET! It's getting close!

@Bababatty @artemis618 good luck!!!! (I think yall are up today, right??)
@bababatty and @artmis618 GOOD LUCK TODAY! I’m thinking about you and your perfect little embryos.
Thanks for the info @alohakumu. I went to target and bought a white board. I’m trying to organize it now. Thanks for ‘lurking’ and I hope you’re doing well!
@businesswife, @crystal321, @laurad75 and jamieh200 Thanks for the great advice! Also, @businesswife on stashing the calendar when company comes over! I didn’t even think of that. I love that you had cute stickers from etsy. I am terrified of missing something and it’s a lot! @crystal321 Do you have a lot of meds at noon? What is plaqueinil? So the folic acid is separate from the pre-natal? My RE sent this color coded graph thing that they swear by and it just confuses me and gives me a worse headache than I already have.
@sunnyrain2 so what day do you do the HCG? I am taking HCG to trigger 7 days before FET then more 2 days before (last day of Lupron) and then another dose four days after my FET. I feel like everyone’s protocol is different so I was interested when you said you were taking it when you stop Lupron as well. My office does PIO for all FET’s too so you aren’t alone and ouch. It’s great you have a date! So exciting.

@Irisheyes81 I’m not on much so I just use my clinic print out and tick off the meds as I go along. For taking off all the sticky residue from the estrogen patches I got this:
https://www.amazon.com/Uni-Solve-Adhesive-Remover-Wipes/dp/B00M3IKRFU/ref=sr_1_2_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1509643680&sr=8-2&keywords=Tape%2Bremoval%2Bwipes&dpID=31LI5I1QGGL&preST=_SX300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch&th=1
Good luck today to @Bababatty and @artemis618 and good luck tomorrow @Crystal321!
AFM My clinic said the lab does not give any updates on the embryos until day 5 so I guess I won’t know anything until I go in for the transfer on Saturday. Just trying to tell myself that if none of them made it so far then they should have called to cancel me. It’s gonna be a long 2 days.
I also don't have monitoring after starting progesterone, but apparently that's pretty common so I'm just going with it.
@Crystal321 Good luck tomorrow!
FET #1 done and we’re PUPO with a (PGS normal) 4AA embryo! Transfer went just fine and bladder was just right (thank goodness) - I even made it through my second 25 min (after) acu session without peeing first
RE said I could take a HPT if I wanted - otherwise betas are next Saturday (11/11) and the following Monday (11/13). For some reason I didn’t expect it to be so soon.
Also, just to clarify, I got the hash brown scramble bowl with grilled chicken and no hashed browns from Chick-fil-a this morning - so still managed to avoid simple carbs!

The plaqueinil is some sort of steroid I believe that is supposed to help the lining be stickier I think? Truth be told, I don't ask a ton of questions anymore, and this is my first cycle using it.
And thanks everyone for the well wishes. This is my month! Third time's a charm, right?

@Crystal321 - ah, I am so thrilled! Already hatching!!! It must be keen to grow!!!!
@rainbows2018 - CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
@Bababatty - Awesome!!!
AFM: u/s this morning was good, but they want my lining to be a little thicker. I'm going to go in again next week, and it looks like the actual FET will be more like the 12/13/14 of November.
@Bababatty and @artemis618, grats on being pupo!
@rainbows2018 Yay!!!! I'm so happy for you!!!
AFM, I had my last nasal spray last night and I'll have 3 estrogen patches today and just had my very first progesterone vag tablet which DH administered. I'm just lying in bed now to allow the medicine do its thing. What do you usually experience with these progesterone vag tabs?
@artemis618
@Bababatty and @Crystal321
so glad your transfers went smoothly and on being PUPO! We're here to help you through the TWW...
@safire3 good luck tomorrow!
Exciting to see things happening on our board. Hoping to hear about lots more BFPs...
