October TWW

Re: October TWW

  • @dpjennifer sorry for the BFN.

I said I would like to wait until Friday doesn't mean I will lol   I only have one test left though so that may help me hold off.  I also woke up yesterday with pink eye and had to go to urgent care.  Totally interfered with plans for college homecoming. We arrived way late and missed some of the festivities

Saw a very pregnant friend who was a few weeks behind me last night and that was so hard. I avoided her last party but wasn't able to last night. Then another bfn this morning and a headache so I'm gumpy and eating chocolate chip cookies for breakfast.

Eta: I took it up a notch and made breakfast burritos. We are all now in a food coma.

  • Well 11 DPO and BFN.  I've been having all these weird symptoms nausea sore boobs equilibrium off and just feeling plain off so I was a little hopeful but looks like I'll be sticking around at least one more cycle then we may decide to call it quits
  • Sorry for the BFN @Mack2342. 11DPO can still be early so here's to hoping :)

AFM, I think I go here now. Today is either 1DPO or O day. Not sure 'cause I only used OPKs this cycle which has been reaaallly strange so far. I think that may be because of my overstimulation last cycle so my hormones are probably all whacked. I probably have cysts too after all those follicles. I usually O around CD 12-13 but I was getting *barely* there OPKs up until Saturday (CD14) when I all of a sudden got a super dark positive which is really weird since I usually have a pretty obvious progression. I took a look back at my charts from 6-7 years ago when I was temping and using OPKs, and my temp shift indicated that I tend to O two days after a positive OPK, which would be today. But I would sometimes O the day after. So who knows. Got in lots of BDing on the weekend, even twice on Saturday! Will probably go for another round tonight if my innards can handle it....I've been having lots of weird pelvic pain and cramping which is stressing me out. I'm wondering if I got some kind of bacterial infection from the treatments (IUI) because I am so sore. Since my RE dumped me I only have my GP so I think I'll go see her tomorrow. Ugh, I have the worst health anxiety so this is not helping!

  • @vlagrl29 we have down 3 rounds of IUIs with just femara and 2 with adding gonal f.  The RE said one more with gonal f however we have enough meds for two more rounds so I will ask to use up medication. RE said that our chances don't increase beyond 3 rounds so our next option would be IVF which we are not doing
  • @Mack2342 I hear ya about the Ivf. I wish you much luck the last couple rounds!

  • @Mack2342 I'm sorry for the BFN! Hang in there, lady. ☹️

@tosh24 My first experience using OPKs this past cycle was super weird, also. Basically no line at all for several days and then suddenly a really dark positive line. And my CM did not indicate O at that time, so that was also odd. Anyway, I also had some pelvic pain and cramping after my 2nd IUI and it turned out to be nothing. Hope yours is nothing, too!
  • @Mack2342 Oh man. :( I really hope it was just too early to test. Looking at being childless-not-by-choice is a real crap sandwich.

Ugh @Mack2342 . Sorry for the BFN. Im hoping its still too early for you…

@tosh24 I hope everything is ok down there. Maybe its just over use ;) Hopefully you can get one more BD tonight without any discomfort.

  • @Mack2342 I’m so sorry. BFNs always suck. I’m soooooo hoping it was just too early to test!!

@tosh24 TTC can be hard on the lady bits. Any chance it’s a UTI from all the BDing?
  • Thanks ladies.   I hope it's too early too
  • @leahcimmichael I went to my GP last week and ruled out a UTI. It's this weird pain that's a mix between tenderness and pelvic pressure. I've read that ovarian cysts can cause pelvic pressure but I've not had too much experience with them. But maybe after last cycle I have a handful of cysts since I overstimulated? I wish I wasn't in between REs right now. Of course, my mind always goes to the worst possible scenario and then I sit and have panic attacks over it for days - like, hey! I probably have bladder cancer or maybe PID and I'll be sterile forever....I (legitimately) have OCD so I'm no stranger to obsessive thoughts, but adding TTC/health worries into the rotation of daily obsessions/worries is tough.

  • Hey ladies- this is going to be a hard cycle- I'm 6 dpo and already symptom spotting  :o

We've got guests this weekend so I'm hoping that distracts me....

How is is everyone else doing? @Mack2342 how are you holding up?

  • @jchpg I'm ok.  I'm nauseated not sure if PMS symptom.  I had it for a few months after MC but last couple cycles it went away.  I've got a backache and have had a few headaches this week so far but had a big BFN on Monday.  I ordered more tests and they arrive tomorrow so at least I won't POAS until tomorrow evening.  Oh I forgot I've also had the runs for a few days.   It would be nice if all that was for a good reason.

Hang in there lady.  It seems like the TWW gets longer each cycle I'm here.
  • Good morning ladies, I'm here now. 2dpo and feeling like garbage. Did anyone develop post O symptoms like cramping or nausea after their cycle started to return? I never had cramps post O prior to the loss, and this cycle I'm miserable. They're like full on period cramps. I'm hoping this is a temporary thing and not a new normal for me.

    Mack2342 I'm hoping you're KU!

jchpg This is my 22nd cycle TTC and EVERY cycle I ss so bad I drive myself crazy. I swear Google is going to develop a pop-up that says "For f*** sake, you are NOT pregnant, and you already know this s*** front to back so stop looking it up!". Complete with flashing signs and siren noises to force me to close the browser.

  • @EleighMay - 22 months wow - I'm always amazed by you ladies that TTC for so long.  It's not in me lol.

@Mack2342 - I hope you feel better soon

  • vlagrl29 Well unfortunately with TTC for long lengths of time there just aren't great options. Either you continue to try and hope, or you give up all of that hope and decide to live childless. Either way you're still going to get AF each cycle to remind you of what you don't have.
