@barrelocarol this is why I love this thread I find that fascinating! I just want to eat everything and have actual dreams of massive buffets, it's wild. I did see a commercial 3 weeks ago for a bagel with nutella on it and I need to cave and buy some soon because I'm still thinking about it!
We had tilapia and roasted veggies for dinner, it was AMAZING. I've been craving fruits and veggies! Quite the difference from my cravings for cupcakes all day every day with my daughter
Veggies! I just made sweet & sour veggie stir fry with brown rice. I crave yummy salads too but I'm not creative enough to make the good ones so I just order those out. On a side note, I reeeeally miss sushi.
Edited to say I've also been craving shrimp but I'm not a good cook when it comes to seafood. I plan on begging the hubby to take me to Red Lobster this weekend for endless shrimp.
Peanut butter. All day, everyday, and on everything. I had peanut butter sandwiches for lunch and dinner today. I am also craving salty foods. I’m slightly jealous of all of you craving fruits and veggies, I need more veggies in my life right now.
My DH cooks meals pretty often, so that's normal for us; however, I don't think he has EVER baked something that isn't from a box mix or a tube of dough. Yesterday he baked my favorite cookies from scratch and brought them to our volleyball match (along with our kids). DD ran up and offered them to the whole team, and the girls loved it. It was a sweet delivery and AMAZING cookies!!!! chocolate chip oatmeal cookies!
Today I'm craving chocolate milk. Like nesquick from my childhood. NEED! Ive been really into Mozzerella sticks from Arby's, which is exactly what I craved when I was pregnant with DD. In fact, the urge to eat mozzerella sticks was 50% of what kept me motivated while pushing her out lol! Im also finally able to eat and smell garlic again which is amazing! And Im about to make a big cheesy bean burrito for dinner.
Mediterranean salads have been my everything. Chicken wings and Mexican food are a close second. Really as long as it's not salmon or chocolate coconut water, I'm good. Which is strange because I loved both pre-pregnancy. There's alot of us craving veggies, maybe it's a "time of the year" type of thing??
So many tacos! MH makes the best salsa. Vegetables don't taste terrible anymore, but berries are better. Also @jeanbean15 I'm about to have a chocolate milk night cap (another wild Friday night lol).
@ashleyf911@vflux33 Mmmmmm Tacos.... Need some tacos now! My husband and I made huevos rancheros the other night. Sooooooo goooood!!!! We put shredded fiesta cheese in a few tortillas, fold them over and put them in the oven for a little bit. Cook some cilantro lime rice and some jalapeño black beans. Make a few eggs over easy, and place them on top of the tortillas filled with cheese. Put the rice and black beans next to the tortillas, and then pour green style enchilada sauce over everything. Heavenly. I could eat that for every meal.
For some reason fruit turns me off. I used to drink a lot of fruit smoothies before I got preggers, but once the nausea started to hit I couldn't drink them at all. Tried to drink one the other day now that the nausea has subsided, but I still can't do it. Waaay to sickly sweet.
Fruit Punch Gatorade has made me not miss craft beer so much lol Also veggies that are cooked but still have a crunch, like broccoli and carrots. Potatoes in any form. Sooo glad I'm finally wanting anything besides junk food! MS is still there most days but it hasn't kept me from having an appetite, which I'm incredibly thankful for.
With my DD, it was lemon everything, with this baby, it's juice juice juice all the time, oh and bagels with cream cheese .... someone mentioned Nutella, that also sounds delicious right now!!!
I crave anything tomato.. mostly cooked fresh tomatoes, especially on pizza! Or any tomato based soup (NOT REGULAR TOMATO SOUP though) with a bunch of lemon juice in it! I know it sounds weird but it's awesome!
@mountain_girl Yes! I didn't even think to mention it and I don't know why because I'm going through a jug of juicy juice AND a jug of orange juice by myself every week. I'm drinking straight from the carton lol.
I crave olive oil (as in dipping bread in olive oil with balsamic vinegar) which brings me to my next craving: VINEGAR. wing sauce, pickles, those hot and spicy cheetos. Most recently I have a new fascination for frozen mango chunks.
I have stopped having dreams about food (lots of that in 1st tri) but I still think about it often! Pretty much anything I see on TV I HAVE TO HAVE. It's ridiculous.
I came back to profess my love for snow cones also. I said it in another thread, but Houston is still so hot that I get to enjoy these for a while longer!
A really good salad with lots of fruits and veggies, fresh sushi, anything pasta/Italian/pizza, and on impulse tonight I bought Swiss Cake Rolls. But mostly, I am already eating waaay smaller portions already because I will be starving but my eyes are bigger than my current stomach space.
I've been eating lots of caesar salad which is interesting because all I used to eat on salad was ranch. Now I barely like ranch. I also crave Newks Crab & Corn bisque. I also want mozzarella sticks thanks to an earlier post by jeanbean15

I should not be reading this thread while at work, I'm super hungry right now and all I have for lunch is a pb&j sandwich and Chex mix...
I'm craving juice, specifically apple and orange juice, and I drink a big waterbottle size of one everyday at work. Other than juice and the occasional craving for Swedish fish (which I got a huge bag of!) I'm still all about the salty foods. Even before I was pregnant I would typically fill up on dinner (carbs mostly) and not have room for dessert. Now I fill up on dinner with room for dessert. Pasta, garlic bread, the mentioned bruschetta, salad, it all sounds fabulous! Thank goodness I'm leaving early for an OB apt so I can go home and make something nice and salty before I have to go pick up the kids, maybe a nice buffalo chicken salad with ranch dressing?
@i-wanna-b-the-girl-w-most-cake@jeanbean15 Definitely craving the balsamic vinegar with olive oil! I love to put some pasteurized garlic & herb goat cheese on some bread and cover it with ALLLL the stupidly expensive aged balsamic vinegar...
Re: Cravings/ Whatcha eating
Craving protein and fruits that aren't ripe, specifically fruits that aren't ripe.
