@angelbea I think @tinjp78 did a thread about chocolate cysts. My first thought is i wish they'd come up with a different name for them because chocolate is good and cysts usually suck. I did a quick google.... I think they are supposed to be endometriomas, basically endo in the ovary. I had a 7cm chocolate cyst removed from my right ovary early this year, January, through Laparoscopy. My Dr tells us that she doesn't expect much from my right ovary, like not many follicles would be produced there. But my show off ovary surprised her with big follicles last month.
And oh, we were supposed to receive a call from the hospital today to know how my 2 other eggs are doing. But, no one called. hmmmm... grrrr...

I did a freeze all and thinking about doing a fresh transfer while recovering and feeling so bad from mild OHSS I'm glad I didn't go through with fresh. I don't think I've heard of a lab freezing embryos on day 2 but I'm hopeful your lab is super high tech and knows what they're doing!
@ReesaAnne16 - You're not being dramatic at all! This entire process is so stressful from beginning to end, not to mention all of the heartache and $$!

AFM... I'm freaking out... I was waiting for my second or third period after egg retrieval to come to start my FET (had egg retrieval mid July, period started late July). I was expecting FET around September/October. At 13 DPO I took a HPT and it came out negative because that very morning we were flying out and I wanted to know whether I can drink and eat anything I wanted. So I did... I was expecting my period to come every day during my trip and it didn't.
Finally came back home last night, dropped into the bed, then this morning took a HPT at 25 DPO and it is positive. I guess at 13 DPO it was still too early? I didn't think it would be. Each time I used two different HPT brands.
I honestly can't believe it. I'm going to call my fertility clinic today and see what I need to do, since they are expecting me to call to start meds for FET once my next period begins. I'm totally freaking out and never saw a positive HPT since 2015, whereby I lost the baby shortly after, so I'm having a whole lot of emotions about this right now. I don't want to lose another... and I feel like it's such a miracle I conceived spontaneously in my cycle waiting for FET. I don't know if the hormones never left my body from the Menopur and Gonal F or maybe I'm just really overthinking this. I feel a mixture of excitement and also fear... I'm thinking back on my trip about how I felt and how my body felt. Honestly the only thing I can think of was vomiting as the plane taxi-ed when we landed in Europe but I get motion sickness pretty easily. But I didn't really think it was because of increased progesterone or anything.

@helloworld9 I don't think ive ever triggered on day 10 of stims... probably the shortest would be 13... which basically this will be since i'm triggering tonight!!! Also... CONGRATS!!! Yes all those extra hormones can make you more fertile on your next natural cycle!! Don't overthink it yet (tw) I am ttcal as well so I know how past mc messes with your head (and your hope) just deal with it one day at a time and one appointment at a time. Let them test your beta hcg and take a look and see if they can see anything yet. Enjoy this moment!!!
@angelbea Glad they were able to get 9 eggs! Do you have a fert update yet? Chocolate cysts are also known as endometriomas. I have a big one on my left ovary. I'm going in today to talk about having it and all the other endometriosis tissue removed before my next FET.

AFM as of today I am 43. Doing okay with that actually, I feel great and am getting healthier so I can do this! CD1 today (nice birthday gift, eh?) so I have an ultrasound tomorrow to see if I'm clear to go straight to another round or need the month if BCP suppression like last time. I kind of hope to wait a month so maybe the diet changes have more time to kick in? I heard it takes 2-3 months for effect? But maybe at least a partial effect will help egg health? Also, anyone else drinking raspberry leaf tea? My clinic says no herbals like that during IVF treatment, but...???
@Momifbysea Happy Birthday!!! 43 is awesome. I just turned 44 so i'll take 43 any day!! lol I think raspberry is fine before stims... I always stop herbals and etc during stims (maca, fertility teas and etc) Don't worry too much about diet... def make the changes, but diet is such a moving target, and its so hard to be perfect about it... I feel like people just beat themselves up so much about it but honestly you just need a couple good eggs..... the supplements and diet definitely help though....

Well, We caved last night and tested at home... BFP!!!!! I couldn't even believe it, I really had worked myself into believing it would be negative all day, and was completely prepared for it to be negative. I've never sobbed for happy reasons before, it was an ugly mess
27 months ago, the first month we started trying, I was late... and convinced I was pregnant (even though all the HPT were negative) I bought a onesie for DH that says "Daddy is my favorite". Well it's been sitting in a box in the spare bedroom closet all this time. Last night I was able to give it to him, it was so great!
My HPT this morning was a little fainter, but the nurse left a message an hour ago saying Congrats it's official! I'm still waiting for her to return my call so I can get beta numbers (I told her to leave it in the message! It's driving me crazy!)
EDITED: Beta of 211 !!!! They don't test again unless you want them too (and spend another $100) so I'm not sure we will.

@funkykey Ive got leftovers of everything else too, but the HGH cant be reused... has to be trashed and 2 bottles cost me 800 bucks oop If I could use it next cycle id be ok... i'll have to reorder two more for 800 and probably end up wasting again
@Hopeful_mom Today makes 14 days (but last shots were last night so stimmed 13 days) I feel like I normally do at the end of a cycle... shaky, bloated, jittery and anxious. I finally realized after several cycles that I'm not really anxious, but at some level, the hormones (especailly after trigger) give me a feeling that reminds me of anxiety... it lasts for a few days post retrieval then goes away. I think a lot of girls think they are suffering from physical anxiety and its just the drugs. As of yesterday everything was looking ok... she didn't make me come back in today since the only thing that would be happening is growth. Yesterday 9 on the follies were 17 and over so hoping and keeping my fingers crossed for them to have mature eggs in there.
Nervous about doing these two trigger shots in my durn arm! I know @tinjp78 did them, but I'm guessing shes tougher than me!! lol

@Hopeful_mom You have so many normies that I feel like you will be fine... I know doing more cycles is like insurance so I get it... Once you get it cycling mode its hard to move on. Its time for you to graduate to FET's! I'd be happy for someone to use the stuff since its worth its weight in gold! lol My DH might have added a drop more to my last injection of it so hopefully that makes a teeny bit of difference! lol I feel like the shot in the arm is just this clinics fancy way of making you feel like you are doing something "different". lol

AFM: ER went well! Got 11 eggs! I'm feeling OK, a little bleeding and mild cramping but not bad! As soon as we left the hospital my hubby took me to eat some super salty ramen yummmm. Well get an update in the AM from the embryologist to see how many they were able to fertilize with ICSI. The more we get closer to this, we've decided to maybe not do the PGS if we end up with only 1 or 2 embryos. The PGS is the only thing my insurance doesn't pay for, and it's pricey. It's the same price for 1 up to 8 embryos so it seems not worth it if we end up with a low amount of embryos. Decisions decisions! I hope these eggies grow grow grow!!

Congratulations! @tnh0413. GL with your fert report tomorrow! We had to decide on pgs or not before we started stimming, and it's not covered for us either, until three failed cycles, so we opted out, too. Ours would have been for up to 10 and we could still bank and test embies from future cycles if we had less than ten on the first go, but for now with just the six fertilized I'm glad we saved the money. However many make it to freeze at this point, I'm happy to just give them each a shot with FET and see what happens. (!!!) But it's really a very personal decision, and there's no right or wrong answer... (((hugs))) and enjoy those salty treats! :D

Just got my fert report, and it is a little upsetting. Out of the 11, only 8 were mature, and only 3 were able to fertilize with ICSI. My RE is disappointed and I am too obviously, and b/c of my hubby's severe MFI, she said it really is just down to the quality of sperm, which unfortunately he can't do anything about. I will get another call saturday for the 3-day report. I'm praying these 3 grow grow grow to 5-day. The good news, she did say these three look good so I'm hopeful.

AFM... I'm freaking out... I was waiting for my second or third period after egg retrieval to come to start my FET (had egg retrieval mid July, period started late July). I was expecting FET around September/October. At 13 DPO I took a HPT and it came out negative because that very morning we were flying out and I wanted to know whether I can drink and eat anything I wanted. So I did... I was expecting my period to come every day during my trip and it didn't.
Finally came back home last night, dropped into the bed, then this morning took a HPT at 25 DPO and it is positive. I guess at 13 DPO it was still too early? I didn't think it would be. Each time I used two different HPT brands.
I honestly can't believe it. I'm going to call my fertility clinic today and see what I need to do, since they are expecting me to call to start meds for FET once my next period begins. I'm totally freaking out and never saw a positive HPT since 2015, whereby I lost the baby shortly after, so I'm having a whole lot of emotions about this right now. I don't want to lose another... and I feel like it's such a miracle I conceived spontaneously in my cycle waiting for FET. I don't know if the hormones never left my body from the Menopur and Gonal F or maybe I'm just really overthinking this. I feel a mixture of excitement and also fear... I'm thinking back on my trip about how I felt and how my body felt. Honestly the only thing I can think of was vomiting as the plane taxi-ed when we landed in Europe but I get motion sickness pretty easily. But I didn't really think it was because of increased progesterone or anything.

Also... CONGRATS!!! Yes all those extra hormones can make you more fertile on your next natural cycle!! Don't overthink it yet (tw) I am ttcal as well so I know how past mc messes with your head (and your hope) just deal with it one day at a time and one appointment at a time. Let them test your beta hcg and take a look and see if they can see anything yet. Enjoy this moment!!!

AFM as of today I am 43. Doing okay with that actually, I feel great and am getting healthier so I can do this! CD1 today (nice birthday gift, eh?) so I have an ultrasound tomorrow to see if I'm clear to go straight to another round or need the month if BCP suppression like last time. I kind of hope to wait a month so maybe the diet changes have more time to kick in? I heard it takes 2-3 months for effect? But maybe at least a partial effect will help egg health? Also, anyone else drinking raspberry leaf tea? My clinic says no herbals like that during IVF treatment, but...???
Don't worry too much about diet... def make the changes, but diet is such a moving target, and its so hard to be perfect about it... I feel like people just beat themselves up so much about it but honestly you just need a couple good eggs..... the supplements and diet definitely help though....

Well, We caved last night and tested at home...
BFP!!!!!
I couldn't even believe it, I really had worked myself into believing it would be negative all day, and was completely prepared for it to be negative.
I've never sobbed for happy reasons before, it was an ugly mess
27 months ago, the first month we started trying, I was late... and convinced I was pregnant (even though all the HPT were negative) I bought a onesie for DH that says "Daddy is my favorite". Well it's been sitting in a box in the spare bedroom closet all this time.
Last night I was able to give it to him, it was so great!
My HPT this morning was a little fainter, but the nurse left a message an hour ago saying Congrats it's official! I'm still waiting for her to return my call so I can get beta numbers (I told her to leave it in the message! It's driving me crazy!)
EDITED: Beta of 211 !!!! They don't test again unless you want them too (and spend another $100) so I'm not sure we will.

@Hopeful_mom Today makes 14 days (but last shots were last night so stimmed 13 days) I feel like I normally do at the end of a cycle... shaky, bloated, jittery and anxious. I finally realized after several cycles that I'm not really anxious, but at some level, the hormones (especailly after trigger) give me a feeling that reminds me of anxiety... it lasts for a few days post retrieval then goes away. I think a lot of girls think they are suffering from physical anxiety and its just the drugs. As of yesterday everything was looking ok... she didn't make me come back in today since the only thing that would be happening is growth. Yesterday 9 on the follies were 17 and over so hoping and keeping my fingers crossed for them to have mature eggs in there.
Nervous about doing these two trigger shots in my durn arm! I know @tinjp78 did them, but I'm guessing shes tougher than me!! lol

I'd be happy for someone to use the stuff since its worth its weight in gold! lol My DH might have added a drop more to my last injection of it so hopefully that makes a teeny bit of difference! lol
I feel like the shot in the arm is just this clinics fancy way of making you feel like you are doing something "different". lol
AFM: ER went well! Got 11 eggs! I'm feeling OK, a little bleeding and mild cramping but not bad! As soon as we left the hospital my hubby took me to eat some super salty ramen yummmm. Well get an update in the AM from the embryologist to see how many they were able to fertilize with ICSI. The more we get closer to this, we've decided to maybe not do the PGS if we end up with only 1 or 2 embryos. The PGS is the only thing my insurance doesn't pay for, and it's pricey. It's the same price for 1 up to 8 embryos so it seems
not worth it if we end up with a low amount of embryos. Decisions decisions! I hope these eggies grow grow grow!!
