@Sailing_Mama I did my HSG 2 weeks ago. I went alone. The nurse prepared me by saying it may feel like really, really intense cramping; basically she made it sound much worse than it actually was. I think the expectation of it being a "painful" experience may have help too because it wasn't as bad as she said. I didn't experience much pain, more like discomfort. I took 2 Advil about 30 mins before and the nurse recommended I take 2 more after. (800 mg is prescription strength) If I remember correctly, you're not a fan of drugs, right? but it may help to take the edge off. I did some deep breathing exercises during the actual HSG to help calm the anxiety and to keep me from being so tense. I think that helped some too. I know I was nervous going in, but getting feedback from others here definitely helped. No matter what you decide it will be the right decision for you.

@Sailing_Mama I agree that the hsg seems to be totally different for everyone. Both of my tubes were blocked and I had some pretty intense cramps during the procedure but once it was over....so were my cramps. With that being said I still made sure my husband came with me bc I had a bad experience after my hysteroscopy so I wanted someone to be with me incase but I was great. I suggest taking some pain meds before hand just incase (with or without your husband)

@BusinessWife@madspunk I spoke to the nurse today. She said the results of the progesterone test show that I haven't O'd yet. I told her "yeah, I knew that. I've never O'd this early". I asked her why it said to stop opks on cd19 and come in for a test. She said that's because most women have Od by then but missed it. Which doesn't really make sense because I feel like there are a lot who don't but whatever. She said I can continue using opks if I want (uh, duh) and once I do O to call back and come in on dpo 7. So basically that was a waste of time and I got pricked for now good reason. (although I still feel like there had to be a reason. My RE knows I don't O on time)
@madspunk the new clinic I'm going to does 2 IUIs for one IUI cycle so they have you go 1 day for the first IUI and the the next day for the second. I know with my last RE I got concerned with the IUIs I did with them that I Od before the IUI based on the length of my LP post IUI so this will definitely help with better timing.
Thanks everyone for all the happy thoughts and encouragement!!!! I am here at the RE again for my last scan before tomorrow's retrieval!!! We did the first part of the dual trigger last night (40 lupron + 2500 HCG), so I have another 40 lupron later this mornjng, and they will let me know whether or not to take more HCG as well. How
are things going? Pretty good. Sorry for the late posting, I just got back from visiting friends in Portland, Oregon last night. I had a great trip. Feeling pretty MEH about having to be at work today. Eh well.
GTKY: what is your favorite online service?
(Like stitchfix/Thrive/Blue Apron etc): I also love Amazon Prime.
KariAnn323 Our
RE gave us a folder with information in it. I also took a notebook, and I keep
all of the IF and RPL information together!
olliegolly If
there is not an app, some of us should get together to create one!!! LOL
leekat14 Don’t
blame yourself and enjoy your trip! I also struggle with being optimistic, but
look at it that it is what it is. We do the best we can, and we have to live,
even through all the struggles we have.
tamalahoops Does
Starbucks cover IVF? I have pretty good insurance coverage, but it doesn’t
cover IVF. *sigh* Sorry you’re in such a frustrating place. I feel like
insurance and others just don’t care about our particular struggles. It makes
me more bitter than I already am.
Sailing_Mama I had
like almost no discomfort at all with my HSG, although I was a bit worried
about it as well. *TW loss* When I
needed to schedule it the nurse said about taking tylonal ahead of time because
of pain and whatnot, and made it sound like an awful procedure. Then looked at
my chart and was like, “Oh, but with 3 MC you probably won’t even notice.” I was like… um… thanks? *End TW*

I've been MIA this week since work has been nuts and I've had a series of "dinner meetings." It looks like a lot has gone on this week though! I will be back later with comments, after I catch up!!
AFM
Diagnosis: High Prolactin, PCOM, High AMH, Fragile X carrier. It's not good.
Cycle/CD: Month 22, CD 12
Status: WTO
What are you doing this cycle: 2nd of 3 months of trying on our own
How are things going? They're going. The RE lowered my dose of cabergoline a few weeks ago and I feel like I'm starting to notice symptoms that I was having prior to starting the meds. So I'll make notes and once this prescription is gone we will go in for more blood work. I am also having a really hard time maintaining weight. I've been reading up on the AIP diet, thanks ladies who recommended it, and I'll be starting that on Saturday.
So much IVF action going on up in here! I'm so excited for all of you that are stimming, retrieving, and generally moving forward in huge ways! I am also late because work has been insane.
@purplg8r I'm sure it feels like a total waste of time. But I can understand the doc's point of view. Most patients don't know themselves the way that we do, and I bet a bunch of them don't use OPKs correctly and totally miss their O. I suppose it feels like being punished for everyone else, but at least you have confirmation that you were right!!
AFM:
Diagnosis: Old lady problems...DOR, AMA
Cycle/CD: 24 (18 AL)/CD13
Status: WTO, although I'm pretty convinced I O'd yesterday, which is on the early side.
What are you doing: Well, this cycle my midwife was unable to obtain the supplies to wash sperm in time, so no IUI for me (*sob*). So we decided to do the at home insemination at least once, which I did last night based on OPKs and past experience (OH and I also WDTPT later last night, just in case he has some swimmers left in there). I'm nervous that I am wrong about O, that maybe I had a false surge or something, although I have O'd on CD12 at least once before.I haven't had the heart to use the second vial for fear of wasting members of our sperm army. Everything about this cycle feels fucked...
I also started Arvigo massage with my midwife. There were a couple of issues she found and corrected (a hip out of place, some places that were tight and shouldn't be...I haven't quite caught on to the science of the technique). It was at least a little relaxing...nothing hurt.While I was there, I also did another vaginal steam, which is pretty relaxing, except for the part where you're sitting on a wooden stool that looks like a toilet seat. It's not the most comfortable sitting position.
How is it going: Meh. At least I was able to pick up the sperm vials before O because that stuff has to be scheduled over a week in advance. I could've missed it. I'm also very thankful that we have the tank to store the vials in to use when we're ready....and if we want, we can hang on to that second vial until next cycle because the tank will stay cold for about a month.But I'm mostly just feeling out before I've even confirmed O. Hopefully continuing to listen to the hypnosis book I got on Audible will help me improve my stinky attitude.
GTKY: I'm a recent Prime convert, and I can't believe I waited this long to join. It's awesome for supplements, especially when I get low and can have replacements in two days or less.

So many Amazon
Prime lovers!I might need to jump on
board.Randomly, did anyone listen to
the recent Beat Infertility?A woman had
a natural IVF cycle and they were able to retrieve 13 eggs; 12 mature. What?
@leekat14 I am
so sorry that this round didn’t work.If
you guys can afford it, I think you should go to Boston.You need to have some time for you. We will
be out of pocket for IVF too, so I understand the hesitation.
@kiwi2628 It
sucks that you have to go through so many IUIs because of insurance.I would be so frustrated if I had to keep on
keepin on just because.It’s not fair
that you have had negative side effects from the treatments, yet you have to
somehow “prove” with 6 cycles that their recommendation might not work for you.
@bertiemeetsgertie
The SA is close!Fingers crossed that
the results are good.And I loved what
you said about being positive and how it effects your well being.This journey is so daunting, and we are all experiencing
such different things.. but it can be so devastating.And we really all need to take some time to
think about all the positives.
@KariAnn323
When we first starting testing with the OB, I asked for a list of all of the
tests she ran and then I did my research on what everything was.I put it in a folder and as soon as I started
going to the RE I used that same folder.I have everything paper clipped by date.I always have questions written down, okay..typed up, that I leave room
on the page for answers.There is so
much information that you get at each appointment that you probably will want
some way to keep it all organized. And
like m@madspunk said, you get a patient portal with the RE and it keeps track
of all of your numbers/tests
@laurad75 Good
luck with the screening process! This is exciting! If you don’t mind me asking,
what are the questions that she has to answer?
@suchaglencoco
Welcome back to the club no one wants to be in Hopefully your stay here is
short. And ugh, the TTC dreams.
@shortstack930
We are doing the “on our own thing” too. Doesn’t it feel like you are doing
something wrong?
@tamalahoops Oh
girl, all the feels.I don’t have any
experience with part time jobs and insurance, but I do know that Home Depot and
Costco offer great benefits.But like
@kiwi2628 said, I’m not sure if it’s for part time employees.Would you ever consider finding a new job all
together? ETA it looks like Starbucks offers some coverage for PT employees and
you love your current job Glad that you’ve done some digging and this looks
like it will work for you!
@hollyyyyy That’s
good that your cycles are shortening.I’m
sorry this one seems to be a bit longer though.
@juneroseruby
haha chubby ovaries.That cracks me
up.When I had my HSG I asked my dr why
my uterus looked like it was on the left.He said, and I quote, “Uteri are just floppy.They just flop around all day.”Um, don’t refer to anything on or in my body
as floppy.I’m sorry you’re feeling so
bloated!But FRIDAY!!
@50wife Fingers
crossed for a good IUI!! I have the highest of hopes for your beautiful
uterus!!!!
@olliegolly It
sounds like you and your H are on the same page as far as a limit.I am sorry you are going through this and
hope that the new OB has more answers for you.
@pinky 917 That’s
awesome that your body was gearing up so quickly!
@madspunk Good
to hear that the treatment break was just what you needed.I’m crossing my fingers that this is your
month!
@emmasemm Sorry
you find yourself here, but there’s no better group of women to be by your side
during this time. I am going to echo
tamalahoops in that it’s probably best to not have set expectations.There’s more than likely going to be
something(s) out of your control, or things that aren’t going as planned, and
you’ve got to just try to relax and go with it.
@sailing_mama I’m
glad you’re more relaxed this cycle.Is
there someone that would be able to go the hsg with you?A lot of women here said that would’ve been
okay, but that it was nice to have someone available.
@beachbunnyxo123
It seems like so many of us have had a break from the constant appointments,
bloodwork, us, etc. Glad that it was a
nice break for you.Fingers crossed that
the new RE brings answers.
@purplg8r I am
not exactly sure why they brought you in for testing, but I know that
progesterone rises after o, so maybe they were trying to confirm?Let us know.And it’s good that H got in so quickly for his testing.Hoping that his results are boring!
@aurora1973
Your posts always crack me up.. old lady problems.. You have such a great
mindset. I hope that O was timed right! I hope the massage works wonders.And a vaginal steam sounds oddly wonderful.
@Redpuma119 I didn't see the clinic's questionnaire, only the the questionnaire from the agency - my understanding is that it is mostly medical stuff and maybe making sure she understands the process.

@redpuma119 thanks a lot and yes I listened to that Beat Infertility podcast today on my 3 hour drive (both ways - I got through a LOT of podcasts!) and I was also shocked but Heather didn't really get her to explain what she meant by natural - I kind of got the feeling she did stims but didn't do the down reg and prep meds first. As she was talking about two weeks of injections... but that might have only been the prep for her FET not her fresh cycle. I always get nervous when guests are on who are still in 1st or 2nd trimester (not sure if it was this one or some of the others I heard today), I don't think I would want to market that podcast as a "success" until... well you know...

I still dont know what "natural" ivf means. I didnt have down regs or any other prep, but I sure as heck stimmed, so I wouldn't call that natural. I'm a little bummed I have to go on bcps while waiting for my hysteroscopy, but I fail to see how taking BCPs suddenly makes it somehow less natural, but the estrace and PIO buttshots are all natural? I definitely don't get it lol +autocorrect fails
ETA we talked about starting fet prep with my natural cycle, but the hysteroscopy thwarted all that :/
*coming out of lurking* @BusinessWifeNatural cycle IVF is in vitro fertilization, but just without the use of medications to stimulate the ovary to make multiples eggs.
<blockquote class="Quote"> <div class="QuoteAuthor"><a href="/profile/StephieBears88">StephieBears88</a> said:</div> <div class="QuoteText">*coming out of lurking* @BusinessWife Natural cycle IVF is in vitro fertilization, but just without the use of medications to stimulate the ovary to make multiples eggs.
*back to lurking*
</div> </blockquote> Right so... Someone saying they got 13 eggs without stims just doesn't make sense to me.
@BusinessWife from what I have been reading, the natural part is just for the FET, not the collection part. So after your collection, you continue on and get your period, then your next cycle starts. They monitor you daily to see when you ovulate, and then once they ovulate they do the FET 5 days later, but you don't need to do many/if any meds since its just like a normal cycle for you. You ovulate an egg (but who cares since you are implanting an embryo later), you make your own progesterone from your own CL (since again, its just a normal cycle), so no PIO (unless your progesterone is low, then they may do some sort of progesterone) so its more med-free. It is not an option for some people though for various reasons.
Time out- re-reading what you said. Is someone saying they did an IVF cycle with no meds and that includes the collection part?
Sorry I am so late to the party this week guys! This week has been crazy so today I still the first time I've been able to sit and catch up. Also I do all my bumping on my iPad and for some reason this site keeps acting up ( pages keep reloading, can't type etc). Don't know if anyone has had similar issues and found a solution.
@Sailing_Mama I'm just chiming in to add that my HSG was not bad at all. I went alone and had minimal cramping. @Redpuma119 what exactly is a natural IVF cycle? I have heard of a natural transfer but not a natural cycle. @Aurora1973 So sorry you couldn't do your IUI this cycle. FX that your at home insemination works. You just need that sperm and egg to meet up so that is still possible! @50Wife Congrats on the gorgeous ute @emmasemm sorry you find yourself here. I have low AMH as well and we are also dealing with MFI. I think some docs just aim low so you don't get disappointed. Hopefully you get more than 2 this cycle. @beachbunnyxo123 glad you enjoyed the break and GL WIth this cycle! @JuneRoseRuby the bloat and fatigue are really hitting me now. At least you will be rid of that bloat tomorrow! @kiwi2628 I know it is annoying going through all of this for insurance but trust me the alternative sucks. I had a little breakdown this week when I saw one of our cards was almost maxed out and I didn't even notice. I am usually so responsible but there are so many little costs along the way and it really adds up. @KariAnn323 yay for getting some timing in this month. I just have an expandable folder I bought on amazon. That way I keep important receipts, results etc with me when I go to appointments. @laurad75 I hope your donor gets everything done soon so you can get moving! @leekat14 I second everything @BertieMeetsGertie said. I try to start every day being thankful for what I do have - my DH, our jobs, our home etc. I find my mood is much better if i do this before I start worrying about everything else. Also you absolutely need vacation/ relaxation time when going through this! Don't feel guilty about it. We are planning a trip in January despite barely being able to afford all of this. We know we will need the mental break regardless of what happens. @tamalahoops so sorry you have to be back here and I hope you get the job and benefits. I don't know much about which jobs have coverage. Our plan is if this cycle doesn't work to try to find insurance coverage and change insurance plans during open enrollment later this year. Not sure if we will find any good plans though because our state does not mandate IF coverage.
Diagnosis (If you've been): MFI, low AMH
Cycle/CD: ?/ day 7 of stims
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA):
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?) IVF. Second monitoring appointment today, 9 follies. Looking at ER next week hopefully.
How are things going? Up and down just like everything else with IF. Sometimes super excited, sometimes convinced this won't work and we would have wasted all this money.
Any questions?
GTKY: what is your favorite online service? (Like stitchfix/Thrive/Blue Apron etc) I only use amazon prime.
@tamalahoops@BusinessWife I have already felt the effects of the constipation! I can't imagine what I will be feeling after retrieval tomorrow . GL tomorrow @BusinessWife!!
@safire3 Yeah, My bloat is crazy! I took a before picture and I will take another picture tonight. Its wild.

@emmasemm@BusinessWife@kiwi2628@safire3 Yes, it was a lady on the most recent episode of Beat Infertility. Episode 89. Heather was shocked too. I heard a little uncertainty in her voice, but she didn't press. Unless I am understanding it completely wrong, someone did an IVF cycle without any meds and retrieved 13 eggs, with 12 mature. Heather was even like, um..they usually hope for one or two. So who knows if this lady was being truthful. It's worth a listen to see what you guys think.
@Redpuma119 I used to love and listen to every podcast on beat infertility, but there was a recently one on male infertility and the woman said so many incorrect things and said "you don't have to use donor sperm if you don't want to, there are other options out there and they WILL find sperm" and I was like oh no you didn't B..... So I've been boycotting it. I contemplated writing in to her to tell her how terrible that podcast was to listen to right as I was entering my IVF cycle with DONOR SPERM..... So now I am super judgin if she had someone on there that didn't use med and retrieved 13 eggs?????

*lurking* I heard that ep of Beat Infertility (89) the other day and the 13 number sounded very high to me and stood out. To easily satisfy your curiosity they start talking about the retrieval around minute 18. The guest kept talking about not being on bc so I do wonder if she had a different definition of natural than what I would have thought.

</div> </blockquote> This is what I'm saying. People throw this term around and use it to mean too many different things, imho. Like I said before, I didn't take BCPs either, but I wouldn't call my cycle "natural" in a million years! And the other definitions, such as doing a retrieval with no stimms - that only makes sense if THE GOAL is to retrieve only 1 or 2 eggs.
As for FET, I know my clinic simply would never do that. They have the ability to reset and control where your hormones are, ensure the lining is ready etc., not to mention progesterone support is pretty much a normal thing they do even for women doing TI and IUI, so like, 1) nbd and 2) just seems crazy to go to the trouble of transferring a <i>frostie, you went through all that trouble to get /make,</i> and for some reason you're going to just transfer it as part of a random natural cycle and hope for the best??? I am telling you, maybe sounds attractive in some ways for some patients, but <b>no way in heck</b> my clinic would ever take such a risk. Nope.

@olliegolly So this is what I used when we went to Canada last summer (pic in spoiler). I had to have printouts of our reservations (required to use family discount through my sister's job), directions (weren't sure how well our phones would work), plus there were a lot of tickets for museums and tours and stuff that I had bought in advance. So I used one sheet protector for each day of our trip and put all of that day's paperwork in the sheet protector. I also had a notebook for anything that we wanted to write down as we went. I still have everything I used last time so I'm thinking one sheet protector per a visit plus the notebook.
@purplg8r So if you fell in love with an item, then you could go online and tell them that you'd like to keep it. It was usually about 20% of retail. They would also periodically "retire" items from circulation. They had a page for those items and you could usually buy them for 50-75% off. Hope you get your H's results soon.
@Redpuma119 Yeah, I have my list of questions typed up (with room to write notes). I think my concern is more keeping everything organized when I get home. We have an awful habit of not organizing paperwork very well and just leaving it in piles. I'd like to do a lot better with this.
Re: IF Testing &amp; Treatment : Week of August 28

@Sailing_Mama I've had two HSGs and had minimal to no pain (and took an Advil beforehand) and went alone (and back to work after the second one) GL!

leekat14 Don’t blame yourself and enjoy your trip! I also struggle with being optimistic, but look at it that it is what it is. We do the best we can, and we have to live, even through all the struggles we have.
tamalahoops Does Starbucks cover IVF? I have pretty good insurance coverage, but it doesn’t cover IVF. *sigh* Sorry you’re in such a frustrating place. I feel like insurance and others just don’t care about our particular struggles. It makes me more bitter than I already am.
Hollyyyyy Hope your cycle isn’t much longer!
Sailing_Mama I had like almost no discomfort at all with my HSG, although I was a bit worried about it as well. *TW loss* When I needed to schedule it the nurse said about taking tylonal ahead of time because of pain and whatnot, and made it sound like an awful procedure. Then looked at my chart and was like, “Oh, but with 3 MC you probably won’t even notice.” I was like… um… thanks? *End TW*

GTKY: I don't really buy much online.
I'm nervous that I am wrong about O, that maybe I had a false surge or something, although I have O'd on CD12 at least once before. I haven't had the heart to use the second vial for fear of wasting members of our sperm army. Everything about this cycle feels fucked...
I also started Arvigo massage with my midwife. There were a couple of issues she found and corrected (a hip out of place, some places that were tight and shouldn't be...I haven't quite caught on to the science of the technique). It was at least a little relaxing...nothing hurt. While I was there, I also did another vaginal steam, which is pretty relaxing, except for the part where you're sitting on a wooden stool that looks like a toilet seat. It's not the most comfortable sitting position.
How is it going: Meh. At least I was able to pick up the sperm vials before O because that stuff has to be scheduled over a week in advance. I could've missed it. I'm also very thankful that we have the tank to store the vials in to use when we're ready....and if we want, we can hang on to that second vial until next cycle because the tank will stay cold for about a month. But I'm mostly just feeling out before I've even confirmed O. Hopefully continuing to listen to the hypnosis book I got on Audible will help me improve my stinky attitude.
GTKY: I'm a recent Prime convert, and I can't believe I waited this long to join. It's awesome for supplements, especially when I get low and can have replacements in two days or less.

So many Amazon Prime lovers! I might need to jump on board. Randomly, did anyone listen to the recent Beat Infertility? A woman had a natural IVF cycle and they were able to retrieve 13 eggs; 12 mature. What?
@leekat14 I am so sorry that this round didn’t work. If you guys can afford it, I think you should go to Boston. You need to have some time for you. We will be out of pocket for IVF too, so I understand the hesitation.
@kiwi2628 It sucks that you have to go through so many IUIs because of insurance. I would be so frustrated if I had to keep on keepin on just because. It’s not fair that you have had negative side effects from the treatments, yet you have to somehow “prove” with 6 cycles that their recommendation might not work for you.
@bertiemeetsgertie The SA is close! Fingers crossed that the results are good. And I loved what you said about being positive and how it effects your well being. This journey is so daunting, and we are all experiencing such different things.. but it can be so devastating. And we really all need to take some time to think about all the positives.
@KariAnn323 When we first starting testing with the OB, I asked for a list of all of the tests she ran and then I did my research on what everything was. I put it in a folder and as soon as I started going to the RE I used that same folder. I have everything paper clipped by date. I always have questions written down, okay..typed up, that I leave room on the page for answers. There is so much information that you get at each appointment that you probably will want some way to keep it all organized. And like m@madspunk said, you get a patient portal with the RE and it keeps track of all of your numbers/tests
@laurad75 Good luck with the screening process! This is exciting! If you don’t mind me asking, what are the questions that she has to answer?
@suchaglencoco Welcome back to the club no one wants to be in
Hopefully your stay here is
short. And ugh, the TTC dreams.
@RVAmom315 Sounds like you’ve had a great week
@shortstack930 We are doing the “on our own thing” too. Doesn’t it feel like you are doing something wrong?
@tamalahoops Oh girl, all the feels. I don’t have any experience with part time jobs and insurance, but I do know that Home Depot and Costco offer great benefits. But like @kiwi2628 said, I’m not sure if it’s for part time employees. Would you ever consider finding a new job all together? ETA it looks like Starbucks offers some coverage for PT employees and you love your current job
Glad that you’ve done some digging and this looks
like it will work for you!
@hollyyyyy That’s good that your cycles are shortening. I’m sorry this one seems to be a bit longer though.
@juneroseruby haha chubby ovaries. That cracks me up. When I had my HSG I asked my dr why my uterus looked like it was on the left. He said, and I quote, “Uteri are just floppy. They just flop around all day.” Um, don’t refer to anything on or in my body as floppy. I’m sorry you’re feeling so bloated! But FRIDAY!!
@50wife Fingers crossed for a good IUI!! I have the highest of hopes for your beautiful uterus!!!!
@olliegolly It sounds like you and your H are on the same page as far as a limit. I am sorry you are going through this and hope that the new OB has more answers for you.
@pinky 917 That’s awesome that your body was gearing up so quickly!
@madspunk Good to hear that the treatment break was just what you needed. I’m crossing my fingers that this is your month!
@emmasemm Sorry you find yourself here, but there’s no better group of women to be by your side during this time. I am going to echo tamalahoops in that it’s probably best to not have set expectations. There’s more than likely going to be something(s) out of your control, or things that aren’t going as planned, and you’ve got to just try to relax and go with it.
@sailing_mama I’m glad you’re more relaxed this cycle. Is there someone that would be able to go the hsg with you? A lot of women here said that would’ve been okay, but that it was nice to have someone available.
@beachbunnyxo123 It seems like so many of us have had a break from the constant appointments, bloodwork, us, etc. Glad that it was a nice break for you. Fingers crossed that the new RE brings answers.
@purplg8r I am not exactly sure why they brought you in for testing, but I know that progesterone rises after o, so maybe they were trying to confirm? Let us know. And it’s good that H got in so quickly for his testing. Hoping that his results are boring!
@aurora1973 Your posts always crack me up.. old lady problems.. You have such a great mindset. I hope that O was timed right! I hope the massage works wonders. And a vaginal steam sounds oddly wonderful.

ETA we talked about starting fet prep with my natural cycle, but the hysteroscopy thwarted all that :/
@BusinessWifeNatural cycle IVF is in vitro fertilization, but just without the use of medications to stimulate the ovary to make multiples eggs.

Right so... Someone saying they got 13 eggs without stims just doesn't make sense to me.
Time out- re-reading what you said. Is someone saying they did an IVF cycle with no meds and that includes the collection part?
@Sailing_Mama I'm just chiming in to add that my HSG was not bad at all. I went alone and had minimal cramping.
@Redpuma119 what exactly is a natural IVF cycle? I have heard of a natural transfer but not a natural cycle.
@Aurora1973 So sorry you couldn't do your IUI this cycle. FX that your at home insemination works. You just need that sperm and egg to meet up so that is still possible!
@50Wife Congrats on the gorgeous ute
@emmasemm sorry you find yourself here.
Any questions?
GTKY: what is your favorite online service? (Like stitchfix/Thrive/Blue Apron etc) I only use amazon prime.
@Aurora1973 true! I'll think of it that way!! And I'm sorry you had to miss the IUI! Hopefully the home turkey basting worked!
@safire3 Yeah, My bloat is crazy! I took a before picture and I will take another picture tonight. Its wild.

@beachbunnyxo123 Sounds like a good new IUI plan. FX the timing of these 2 IUIs is just what you need.
@Aurora1973 That meme is me every day. Sorry you're feeling this cycle is screwed.

I heard that ep of Beat Infertility (89) the other day and the 13 number sounded very high to me and stood out. To easily satisfy your curiosity they start talking about the retrieval around minute 18. The guest kept talking about not being on bc so I do wonder if she had a different definition of natural than what I would have thought.

This is what I'm saying.
Nope.

@purplg8r So if you fell in love with an item, then you could go online and tell them that you'd like to keep it. It was usually about 20% of retail. They would also periodically "retire" items from circulation. They had a page for those items and you could usually buy them for 50-75% off. Hope you get your H's results soon.
@dpjennifer Glad that you had a good trip!
@Redpuma119 Yeah, I have my list of questions typed up (with room to write notes). I think my concern is more keeping everything organized when I get home. We have an awful habit of not organizing paperwork very well and just leaving it in piles. I'd like to do a lot better with this.
@safire3 Yay for ER next week!
