I hate the new light bulbs. I just want the old light bulbs back. They were cheap and I could look inside of them and see they had exploded (or fizzled out, whatever they did). I hate spending $20 on 4 bulbs that absolutely do not last 9 years.
My my new favorite is called Big Six.. it's made in bourbon barrels. There is a red blend, cab, and Zinfandel. The red blend is my fave. My mouth is watering just typing about it.
Oh my that sounds wonderful! I am going to have to write that down for after!
My UO is that I don't really like maternity pictures. Let me be clear, I've seen a lot of really pretty ones, and maybe, just maybe I'll change my opinion when I'm super pregnant and want to remember that time through photos, but I doubt it. I guess I'm much more interested in seeing pictures of the baby than having the maternity shoot plastered on my fb feed.

+1 to this. Also just because they are maternity photos doesn't automatically make them tasteful. I've seem more tasteful ones than not tasteful ones, don't get me wrong, but if you're gonna have 50 stark naked maternity photos hanging up in your kitchen and then invite a bunch of people you don't know super well over for a dinner party, please give us some kind of warning signal.
Can't believe there are so many people who don't like alcohol! I hate it, too. I extra hate when people assume I am judging them for drinking, or that I do it for a reason.
Like...What if I gave you the third degree for not liking cilantro? "Are you judging how many cilantro covered tacos I eat? Maybe you just haven't had the right kind of cilantro."
My UO: I think it's really AWish when people post things on FB directed towards their SO or children. Sappy anniversary posts, happy birthday wishes for a child who can't even read (let alone use social media)- all of if makes me roll my eyes and question why people feel the need to be so public with the closest people in their lives.

I agree. Those usually make me throw up in my mouth a little.
I love alcohol. Not to get drunk, just to have a few and relax. I think not being able to have a drink is the worst part of being pregnant. That's probably a UO.
@barrelocarol, You F***ing Monster! I bet you are judging me for not liking cilantro!
Well news flash, chickypoo, I'm counting how many cilantro covered tacos you eat and later I'm going to take pictures of your bloated Taco body and post them all over Facebook for your mom and boss to find. Ha!
/sarcasm just in case anyone needed that spelled out for them.
Have i mentioned I hate cilantro? I have that thing where it just tastes like a combo of soap and dirt... and it makes me sad because I love all the things people put cilantro in.
Aw man I totally miss wine and craft beer, not to get drunk but I live in a region of Canada where there are hundreds of wineries and I miss it. And new breweries opening near my house, that I wish I could try.
I'm on the fence about cilantro. I don't love the smell of it on its own, but I like it in certain dishes. Only in moderation, though. It's pretty easy to overdo it.
So when MH and I got married we decided to make a bunch of freezer meals because he worked crazy hours. One of the dishes recommended to me was cilantro and lime chicken. I couldn't eat it. It didn't taste like lime or chicken at all. And now cilantro is dead to me. Forever.

So maybe my UO is that I like those posts. I get tired of the ranty crap that some people do, and I'd much rather see someone document a milestone, anniversary, birthday, etc. in a sweet and thoughtful way. I guess I think of it like, some people enjoy a big birthday party and it's part of their, for lack of a better description, love language. I think there are just as many people who probably dislike those PDAs on FB and other social media, but I don't think that makes the people who enjoy it any less authentic. I love going through old photos with my kids and milestones that we've documented up until now, but to be fair, I post a lot more than just things like that, so maybe I mix it up enough to not be cringeworthy
@KLmyz what part of Canada? I'm in B.C. And went to 3 breweries this weekend and ordered for my sister then had water I miss wine a lot...as others have said, not to get drunk, I hate that feeling and am too old to recover from that...more to just feel relaxed on a weekend...I actually was holding a bottle of wine from the liquor store while I paid for my pregnancy test back in July...I told the clerk 'first I'll take this test before I drink this' ... he just looked confused
I love wine! I love most alcohol ... but I absolutely never get drunk anymore. nothing is worth the hangover. I also cilantro
the irony is - I find being pregnant very much like being hungover. I guess my UO is that I haven't enjoyed the experience of being pregnant at all so far. I deep down just want to tell every person that tells me what a blessing it is to experience this to just "eff" off...
Cilantro hater here! Taste like metallic soap. Supposedly, only a small percentage of the population gets that reaction from it. I'm one of the lucky ones I guess. A few years back when cilantro was the popular food item to put in other foods, I was in hell.
@bb3vj3n me either. I didn't enjoy it until the second trimester when I was pregnant with my daughter either. It's hard to get excited when you feel like garbage all the time.
I like a good glass of wine or beer, but my tolerance levels are reaaallly low these days (which is a good thing) and I just don't have the desire to drink much/often. In my younger days, I loved whiskey, but can't do it at all anymore. I tried to have just a small amount once since my daughter was born and I'll never do it again. I thought I was dying the next day. Not worth it.
@mountain_girl I live in the okanagan so wine is everywhere !!! Do you live in Vancouver area?? They have so so many good breweries
@bb3vj3n that's how I describe it to my H never ending hang over. So one day after Bachlor party he was hung over. And there wasn't much sympathy from me lol
I don't like frilly baby dresses/clothes with flowery, lacy crap all over it. I don't even like pink that much. I'm going to be SOL if I have a girl (which I have a feeling it is! )

Ooh man you would hate how I dress my girls!
I also don't like all the frilly, pink stuff. And I have a girl. Lol
Never had or heard of Qdoba. Bummer! @HappyMonkey817 This reminds me of my conversation with dh earlier. I really wanted homemade tacos, but the smell kills me and it lingers for days. He sweetly offered to make them outside on the grill, but I passed. Maybe another day when I'm not as difficult.
Chipotle is extremely overrated. Qdoba is so much better.
Moes is better yet. No free chips at Chipotle?? Not cool.
I miss wine. I like to think it misses me too.
Moe's is better than Chipotle, but not as good as Qdoba. I got a bowl/"salad" (yes, okay, there was some lettuce in there. Lol) at Moe's. The filling was tasty, but the bowl thingy tasted odd and sort of like Chinese food, so that was not impressive. Moe's does have an excellent selection of salsa, though, so I'll give them that. They also offer tofu, which is a plus for me. If Qdoba had tofu, I'd be in heaven.
I really couldn't tell you if I prefer moes or qdoba, it depends on the day! I haven't been to chipotle in so long since moving to a town with all three. I haven't been to our pancheros either, and I hear that's similar.

Stuck in quote box.
Panchero's is awful. Don't bother. Improperly cooked tortillas (somehow raw and burned at the same time?) and flavorless everything else.

@mdfarmchick@chasingroygbiv plus so many others....same here. I don't tolerate alcohol well. THink instant flushing of the face neck and chest and a heart that beats out of my chest
i love me some cilantro!! In salsa, tacos, chili , cilantro lime rice.you name it!

I also don't like wine, but I love everything else, especially IPAs, whiskey, and gin.
I guess my UO here is that I enjoy being drunk from time to time. Not blackout (haven't done that since college), and I do everything in my power to avoid the hangover (lots of water during, and enough drunk food before bed), but I really enjoy the "Take my keys - I'm going to walk home!" party time, and I really miss it while pregnant.
Last night I had a dream I was at a local brewery. I totally forgot that drinking dreams were a thing, but they definitely were last pregnancy, and now they're back.
Also, my hierarchy of fast food Mexican goes: Moe's, Panchero's, Chipotle, Qdoba.
