SAHM to four, soon to be five, here. Three girls, then a boy; our oldest was adopted and our younger three were all born at home. This baby has been much-prayed for by DH and I, as well as our children. Our oldest, 8y, cried when we told her we were pregnant.
We are beyond thrilled and feel honored and unworthy of another precious baby!
I'm so thankful for this community of mamas.
Happily married since 2009

Hi there! I'm Maggie. I got my BFP on Friday and looks like I'm due April 28. My DS will be two in December. I'm a kindergarten teacher. I'm cautiously optimistic, but it definitely doesn't feel real just yet.
Hi all!! FTM and long-time TTGP lurker (and been lurking this board since my BFP). This is my first BFP after TW a cp last September TW with TTC 13 cycles... 12 natural and 1 with Clomid. I am 4+6 today. I live in Michigan and work full time in healthcare. Looking forward to being a mom!!!
Hi! I just got my BFP yesterday, super early. I'm actually due May 3/4 based on LMP, but my first was a 33 weeker, so possible to likely this one will come early too.
I'm a middle school STEM teacher, and mom to a 2.5 year old boy. Looking forward to meeting you all!
Hello! This is my third pregnancy and we were NOT expecting this!! I have 2 boys (5 and a half years, and 18 months) and FX this one is a GIRL! I got my BFP on the 15th and are waiting just a bit longer to tell parents and a bit longer than that to tell friends.
Hi everyone! I'm a FTM in San Francisco, beyond thrilled to be pregnant after IVF - our last shot after years of trying, procedures, acupuncture, you name it. EDD is April 17th! I'm of AMA (36) and have been married almost 12 years. I lead communications at a start-up and love love love my job. Happy to connect with other mamas!
Hey everyone! I know these threads get so big so I don't know if anyone still checks them, but I'd love to read through all 400 comments in time ;-)
My husband and daughter (18 months) and I live in Northeast Ohio. I was active under a different username while pg with my daughter and a small, tight knit group of us F16ers are still very much active on FB and we've done many RL meet ups! It's so much fun!
This time around we were using NFP and actually TTA a bit, but I O'ed 3 days early this month and SURPRISE! We are very excited, but it is definitely surreal. Especially because it took much longer and we were very much intentional last time, so a surprise is both a relief and a shock. I got my BFP on WEdnesday the 16th (my first day at a brand new job ), had my last beer on Tuesday (a sad choice for my last drink in 9+ months- $3 Labatt special), and I have my first appt scheduled on Sept 16 or something. My EDD should be April 26.
Can't wait to get to know everyone!

FTM in Reno, Nevada. I'm 28 and a research director at a marketing firm. EDD is April 20. I'm excited but mostly very nervous so happy to see this large community of knowledge and support is here!
Hi Everyone! Im a 34-yr-old FTM from PA! EDD April 26! I have miscarried twice at 6w, but so far so good. Im only 4w4d tho so time will tell. Im a nervous wreck! My husband and I never had to "try" each pregnancy was a "one and done" lol so at least I know Im fertile! And I suspected my pregnancy almost immediately and got my FPT at 3 weeks! Already I feel nauseous, which didnt happen before so Im hoping the hormones are raging! Im also a martial arts instructor so Im a little worried about being tired at work and because I wont be sparring that people will find out before im ready to tell them. If anyone has any similar stories Id love to hear!
Hi all! I am due 4/29 according to LMP. This baby will make me a STM. My son was born 10/28/15 and I am still involved with that BMB on FB. I got a BFP on 8/17 and am super excited.
I am cautiously posting this, but I am currently 4+2 with an EDD of 4/28 based on LMP. I will be a STM, and currently have a 17mo DD. I was active on the April16 BMB before moving over to FB to connect. I had a CP in April, so I'm hoping for a more positive outcome this time around.
My SO and I are both 25 and military. This will be his first child by birth. He is already a great father to my DD.
I hope we all have a happy and healthy 9 months!
@mountainsmama are you running the Denver RNR by chance? I am also registered to run that and still plan on doing so. Coincidently, I ran a half during my first pregnancy at 16wks and was completely fine, if not a little slower than usual. I registered for both before knowing I was pregnant.
Hi everyone! I'll be a TTM and I'm definitely a bit nervous! We live on the coast on CA and have 5 year old and 16 month old sons. We were on the fence about having a third and our second month of NTNP got a BFP. My due date is technically May 2nd but I'll be a RCS so baby will be here the last week of April. Excited to meet everyone!
Hi everyone! I'm a STM, due April 11th. I have one son who is 15 months old right now, as well as a 16 year old stepdaughter. I'm pretty nervous still as we just experienced our second loss in May. Praying this one is sticky!!!
Hi there everyone! TTM here (that feels so weird to write...), I have a two year old, one year old and this kiddo is due on April 26th. My first two are 18 months apart, and my second and third will be about 22 months apart. Excited for us all, and hoping for lots of sticky dust for everyone!
Hi Ladies! I will be a STM. My EDD is April 29th so I'm already feeling way behind all of you! Just got the BFP on Friday. Edited bc some of my message disappeared, looking forward to getting to know you all!
@rizzlig hey girl! I've got a 10/11/15 too. Think I Can guess you name from your handle:) so exciting! I think I already announced it the the October FB group so you can guess who I am
@capricelili very cool....going to find you now! I haven't announced in the FB group yet. Was going to wait a bit longer. I was wondering if I would see one of the group members in here!
Hi everyone. I am a FTM. I am excited and anxious about this pregnancy. I had a MC in December at 10 weeks. We have been TTC for 6 months again now. I got my BFP on 8/11 and my EDD is 4/13 (although I think this might be a little early).
Hi all, I think I may be one of the last to join the party! My EDD based on last period is 5/1 but I ovulated early so based on that my EDD 4/28. I am excited to be here and will be a STM , we have a beautiful 14 month old boy. We decided to try for number two quickly since we are on the older side (36 and 38). I am a math professor and the semester started yesterday, not looking forward to teaching through the first trimester
Hello my name is Shyanne, my husband have been trying to get pregnant for 15 months now and got a positive test!!! My edd is April 20. I am so excited and nervous. I work fulltime and run a second business from my home.
Hi all! Ftm here, due April 7. Had a MMC in April so I've been very nervous the past month. Today I heard my Nuggets heartbeat, going strong at 152 bpm. That really helped rid me of some of my worry. I'm a college student but will be taking a semester off after birth to spend some quality time with the new baby.
Hi all. FTM at 41yo. Due date is 4/18/18, unless doc changes it after US tomorrow. After a long struggle with it infertility, hoping for an uneventful pregnancy and a happy healthy little one. Already dealing with some nasty nausea and my boobs no longer feel like mine, but very happy to be dealing with it...
Hi everyone. New here. FTM and really overwhelmed by all the acronyms everyone uses. I'm scared I'm going to get yelled at for using the threads wrong so I'm hoping people can forgive me.
@yagers Welcome! Don't be scared, just remember - if you do get corrected or redirected, it's nothing personal, so just roll with it and don't get offended. The more you read/lurk, the less worried you'll be. A good place to start is your ticker change check in (the day of the week that you are exactly 4 weeks or 5 weeks) and the first time mom (FTM) weekly check in.
And, no one minds if you ask what the acronyms are - you'll get used to them in no time. If you haven't already, please be sure to read the "Read This First - Board Guidelines" thread, as it has lots of helpful info, including a link to a list of acronyms.

Hi everyone! I'm 31yo FTM due 4/19. Live in NYC with my husband and work as a RN. After 3.5 years of TTC and fertility treatments, this final IUI seems to have worked. I feel like at any moment I'm going to jinx something, but I'm trying to enjoy the happy and not live in the fear after a MC last month. I've got 2 more weekly ultrasounds with my RE and have my first OB appointment scheduled when I'll be 9 weeks. I'm happy to be here!
