  • Yeah I had it this morning! I usually feel anxious about every step in this process but I felt nothing going into today and I don't feel anything now. Maybe in a few more days or if I start getting symptoms I would feel mor anxious but I'm liking this!!! Maybe I'm just so busy and the progesterone is making me so tired that my brain can't focus. It's nice for now. I'm sure there will be a switch soon.

@prudence9-2 when will you test again to look for a more definitive positive?
  • @jfeeney06 congrats on being PUPO!!! And if you can maintain this attitude, that would be great!

im not sure if I should wait for tomorrow or test again tonite. I drink soooooo much water that I'm afraid my pee will be too diluted. So I might wait for the morning.

  • So of course I told myself I should wait for the morning because I've been drinking so much water today so my pee will be diluted, but of course I didn't. And I just took a test. And as I suspected no line. But I'm not going to let this take me down because I drank a ton of water today. FX i will see a line in the morning!!!

  •  @prudence9-2 you make me smile because your choices remind me so much of myself!!! I can wait to hear what a more concentrated urine bring today!

Im not sure if I will test. If I get anxious closer to beta time I'm sure I will. I have a ton of those cheap pregnancy test strips. Right now I don't feel anxious and feel okay waiting for the blood tests. I'm only 25 hours in though so there's so much time for that to change! I've read so mhch about chemical pregnancies or early MC that I'm just nervous about getting ahead of myself and getting heartbroken. Though...thinking for a second longer I guess I would probably be equally heartbroken even if I didn't test and I got negative results.
  • @jfeeney06 it was a mistake to test early. Last time I waited to 11dp5dt! And then it was immediately BFP...

anyway, tested now. The faint line is still there. But I'm 9dp5dt, I would expect the line to be much stronger at the point. Maybe I had a chemical?

  • @prudence9-2 Stay positive. It's still early and it may get super dark all of the sudden one morning, you never know!!

AFM- My line got a tiny bit darker this morning! It is still VERY faint though but I am only 6dp5dt. I am very cautiously optimistic...if nothing else, the hope is really helping with the wait :)

    1st cycle of IVF started April 9, 2017. ER- 15R, 7M, 5F, 4 frozen, 1 transferred. BFN

    May 2017- Hysteroscopy

June-August 2017- 2nd attempt via FET. 2 Embryos transferred on 08/10/17. BFP, but ended in a chemical.

    November 2017- Hysteroscopy

    January 2018- 3rd attempt via FET. 2 Embryos transferred on 01/25/18. BOLD BFP on a HPT on 1/31, Beta # 1 on 2/5= 721. Beta # 2 on 2/7- 1903. 6wk+3 day scan revealed twins!

    I'm blogging about it here

  • I am so excited for all of these positives. Frankly faint is just as good. The morning of my first beta my line was super faint but beta was 97 so, really doesn't make a difference. Any line is positive and it has no corralation to your beta or so I've heard
    :) fingers crossed for everyone

@aligoodmorning1 you're making me feel better. But regardless, i think I'm not going to test until beta. So if it doesn't get darker I don't get upset.

  • @prudence9-2 it looks like you are going in the right direction!!! I know they are expensive but I highly recommended trying a FRER. Today is the first day I've been able to see anything on the Wondfo cheapies but it is very light. I've been getting light positives on the FRER for a few days now.

    *TW*

Mine got got darker today too! Finally able to see it without squinting or doing acrobatics with it.

Here's my photo this morning at 7dp5dt.

  • am so happy to hear all the good stories but I wanted to ask, finally had my follow up with my RE after our failed cycle. He said the embies were normal and it's not due to that and my linning was good, so not that either, we talked about doing a non medicated cycle, but I wanted to know, anyone here currently prego or have gotten prego in the past with a non medicated cycle. He said it will reduce the hormones I know so only estrogen and progesterone to worry about and it's also good for our bank account. But want to know if it's successful. I have time to think it over while still waiting, but what do you guys think?
  • @Dragonfly6191 and this morning (10dp5dt) the line was lighter than my day 8 morning. This obsessing over the line is not good for me. I'm going to stop and wait for my beta on Monday.

@roadtobaby not sure, I've only done medicated cycle. My RE said that if my lining won't be perfect we won't be able to transfer. So we decided to go with medicated.

  • @roadtobaby I've only done this one medicated cycle. Sorry for not being more helpful.

@prudence9-2 Have you tried any of the tests that just tell you yes/no? I would be obsessing too but I'm sorry this is so difficult. When's your blood test again? Maybe try to plan something relaxing or fun to treat yourself and take your mind off of this process. A girls night? Night out with the hubby??
  • @jfeeney06 I think that at this point, I'm not going to test anymore. It's not going to change the outcome. My beta is on Monday. My clinic does it at 14dp5dt.. very late. At that point they're expecting a number above 2000 I think. Last time I got 2563 in my first beta.

And yeah, will try to do something fun/relaxing this weekend. And no hubby... I'm doing it on my own.

  • Oh wow sorry! You're so incredibly strong but I feel like I can feel the defeat in your writing. I can't even imagine how you feel right now. If I were you I would be preparing myself for the worst but I hope you're staying positive. I do believe that we will all have our dream babies one day!
  • @jfeeney06 yeah... Maybe I didn't dip the stick long enough? Or maybe my urine was still diluted from all the water. But at this point, I'm just going to wait for Monday.  :(

  • I can definitely see the lines prudence. :) so happy for you ladies. fingers crossed for good betas.
@roadtobaby I'm just getting started on a non medicated transfer. I honestly don't know much about it yet. I just started progesterone to induce a period which I'm super tired from. We meet with my doctor the 22 so I'll have more of a breakdown then. We had to cancel our medicated cycle because my body hated the estrogen.
TTC 4 years. 7 failed IUI's with either Clomid, Femara and/or Trigger Shots. Started IVF journey in February 2017. Polyps removed in May. 1st IVF Transfer September 26th. BFP. Expected due date 6/14/18. Baby boy born 5/25/18 at 6 lb 9 oz. My bundle of joy.
  • @prudence9-2 maybe just try to think that there is a faint line and you're not crazy because others see it too! Keep that little tidbit of positivity in your pocket and hopefully you'll get through until Monday. I like that you're not testing yourself anymore. There's so many variables that it's hard to get or understand clearly if you are or aren't prego!

@Holls214 I hope you get some clarity from your doctor and a plan that won't make you feel like crap the whole time. Good luck!
  • Thanks @jfeeney06 & @Holls214 I hope I can have busy few days! At this time in 4 days I should know my beta! FX!!!!

  • Yes try to stay busy! That always helps the wait. Were in for a crazy weekend with tourists for the eclipse in Oregon. Traffic jams have already started. Yay, not. Haha.

  • @Holls214 That sounds like a nightmare for you but I hope you get to see the eclipse!
  • Were like 99% if I traveled 15 miles south it would be total. But I just plan on staying home. They are expecting 1 million people traveling to Oregon for it.

  • @Holls214 I feel you! I'm in Nashville and we are in complete totality. They are expecting 2 million this weekend here! Tons of traffic warnings and it's just going to be madness. We have a few people coming in for it so we are just going to take our boat out and watch it- figure the lake will be less crowded than the roads!

I actually postponed my Beta by a day over it because I don't want to try to get my doctors office!

  • @Holls214 99% is pretty cool! Here in the SF Bay Area I think we're at 75%

  • Yeah I think we are only around 60% in the Boston area.
  • @jfeeney06 I love Boston. Lived there in my twenties   B)

    How is everyone doing?

AFM... early this year I got to do PIO for almost 2 months. And it wasn't fun. But I managed to alternate sides every day... this time around, I'm only doing it for a little over 2 weeks. But I think I'm having some allergic reaction to it. One side is totally swollen and bruised. And the other side burns as I inject. This morning was the turn of the bruised side, but it is so bruised that I ended up injecting on yesterday's side. And then was sitting with heat pad on once side and ice pack on another :D . Tonite, I will try and sit with an ice pack too so that side will not be as swollen tomorrow.

  • *TW*

Well, I've had a weird but exciting day!!! I've been testing positive on HPT's since Tuesday, but yesterday I had some cramping that kind of scared me. This morning my HPT was the same color as yesterday, not darker, so I panicked a little and called my nurse. They decided to go ahead and bring me in for a *very* early Beta (I am 8dp5dt).

Beta was positive at 23!!! Obviously that is still really low, but she said it's perfectly in line with what she would expect at only 8dp. I will go back in on Tuesday (everyone is closed here Monday because of the Eclipse) for my 2nd round. She said by then she'd be hoping to see a number of 50+ and then they would consider me "official". The cramping still has me a little worried so I'm hoping to keep seeing darker HPT lines although my nurse told me to stop- she said urine tests are really just meant to be positive or negative, not to be anything to really read in to. But of course I'm going to continue to test ;)

Crossing my fingers for all of you who are still waiting or haven't transferred yet...I hope this is ALL of our month!

  • I did a fet August 2nd and thank God it totally worked! Both my beta blood tests came back awesome and we have our first ultrasound next Thursday. I feel like I am so lucky I have this weird second time doing ivf and getting pregnant guilt! (I have an son from ivf who will be two soon) I know we are so lucky and my husband reminds me we still had to go through ivf twice to get pregnant twice. But I can't shake it. Anyone else?
