So i heard back from my doctor and I feel slightly better about that injection. She basically said it doesn't cause leukemia but that it is an hypothetical risk.
I also asked a friend of mine who is a doctor to read some medical papers about it. And she said that it seems fine. And that there is not much risk. I will be closely monitored. And if my blood count levels are too high, they will make me skip a week.
My dr also agreed to do saline ultrasound to make sure that I have no leftovers like after last miscarriage...

I'm glad you're advocating for yourself! Hopefully since you'll be on the injection for such a short amount of time your risk will be that much lower. Have you gotten your period yet?
I do have some waves of nausea but mostly just a ton of exhaustion. I'm sure the crazier symptoms are on the horizon.
@jfeeney06 I actually got my period on Monday. Which is strange because that day My hcg was still 100!!! I thought you can't get your period until hcg is negative. I hope that because I got my period, the levels will go down fast!
last time when I finally got to 78 it still took another 3.5 weeks. So I hope that won't be the case this time.
And yeah, I think morning sickness are suppose to be there by 6 weeks. Funny how I'm so looking forward to feeling nausea.

Hi All, This is my 1st time posting... Just completed my 2nd round of IVF; went with a new clinic (who was so, so ,so much more thorough and amazing than my 1st) and donor eggs. Had ET on August 21st; solar eclipse day! Had my 1st beta yesterday and it came back at 63... so BFP! So thankful! I go in again tomorrow with hopes it will double because I AM a concerned that it's a little low. Anyway, just wanted to get in touch 'cause this stuff is stressful, and lonely sometimes. @prudence9-2 that is kind of funny about getting your period. When will you retest your HCG levels? Ha ha I get looking forward to morning sickness! I am actually craving all of my symptoms right now bc it's the only thing that's telling me I'm still prego and nothing bad is happening in there.
@aliaust I'm glad you got much better results with your clinic change. A BFP is great to hear! I hope the numbers continue to go up. Welcome to this board. Everything about this process is stressful. There is a great group of ladies here to support you as you go!
@jfeeney06 I totally understand. I was the same way. Was craving for symptoms. But keep in mind that sometimes symptoms are not there all the time. But it is still ok i was suppose to test again on Monday. But because of Labor Day, I'll test on Tuesday.

Hi- it appears I may have started my period again on day 17 of my cycle... lovely. Started bleeding horribly yesterday. So I guess we start over again. This process seriously sucks. I almost think about taking a break but not getting any younger. Wish I could just take a couple months break from work to focus on this stuff. Glad you got your levels down to be able to do another FET. Did you decide what kind you were going to do?

I don't I guess. I start Femara on Saturday then go in for day 14 ultrasound on the 20th. The maybe a FET sometime a week or so after that if all goes as planned this time. Fingers crossed for both of us.

AFM... been having pains last night and overnight from the saline sonogram. Got up in the middle of the night to take pain meds.... it's still painful now even though I'm suppose to still be under the influence of the pain meds. Ahhh. Had saline sonogram before my IVF last year and don't remember any pains.
Having issues getting the lupron. Hope it will get resolved. Because I need to start taking it on Monday!

I have no clue haha. Argh. I'm on day 3 of Femara. I have a monitoring appt on the 18th if that looks good maybe 10-14 days after that. Nothing is a set timeline now. And after 2 cancelled cycles just trying to go with the flow I suppose.

I also asked a friend of mine who is a doctor to read some medical papers about it. And she said that it seems fine. And that there is not much risk. I will be closely monitored. And if my blood count levels are too high, they will make me skip a week.
My dr also agreed to do saline ultrasound to make sure that I have no leftovers like after last miscarriage...

I do have some waves of nausea but mostly just a ton of exhaustion. I'm sure the crazier symptoms are on the horizon.
last time when I finally got to 78 it still took another 3.5 weeks. So I hope that won't be the case this time.
And yeah, I think morning sickness are suppose to be there by 6 weeks. Funny how I'm so looking forward to feeling nausea.

This is my 1st time posting...
Just completed my 2nd round of IVF; went with a new clinic (who was so, so ,so much more thorough and amazing than my 1st) and donor eggs. Had ET on August 21st; solar eclipse day!
Had my 1st beta yesterday and it came back at 63... so BFP! So thankful! I go in again tomorrow with hopes it will double because I AM a concerned that it's a little low.
Anyway, just wanted to get in touch 'cause this stuff is stressful, and lonely sometimes. Best wishes to all!

AFM... been having pains last night and overnight from the saline sonogram. Got up in the middle of the night to take pain meds.... it's still painful now even though I'm suppose to still be under the influence of the pain meds. Ahhh. Had saline sonogram before my IVF last year and don't remember any pains.
Having issues getting the lupron. Hope it will get resolved. Because I need to start taking it on Monday!

• June 2017 - IVF #1, 5 eggs retrieved, 4 fertilized, 2 high quality blasts chillin'. During retrieval, Dr. had to go through my uterus so we switched from fresh transfer to frozen. Giving my uterus a full cycle to heal.
• August/September 2017 - Natural FET #1, transferred one day 5/6 embryo on Sept 3rd, Beta #1 171, Beta #2 402.6 | Saw heartbeat at 6 weeks, 3 days | BFP
• April 2017 - Baby Boy Beckett was born.
• August 2019 - FET, transferred one day 5/6 embryo | BFP
• December 2019 - Diagnosed with low AFI of 3.41 on 12/3, cause unknown. No tear in membranes, no issues with Baby Girl. On bedrest.
