What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): Letrozole, Gonal F, Trigger, IUI, Progesterone
How are things going? It's been a whirlwind of a few days! Our house inspection is this week and trying to juggle that and all that comes with it alongside all my monitoring appts and this cycle has been a lot. It's all positive things, but still exhausting. We drove by the house probably 4-5 times because I just can't stop looking at it. I'm so excited to move forward with it! I actually was able to connect with a few other moms who live on the street through a FB group and it was great to get the low-down on the street and both neighbors on either side of the house. It was all good info and only made me more excited to live there! We have the inspector and separate septic inspector coming Wed afternoon.
As for my cycle, my scan this morning showed still only one egg at 16mm. C'monnnn. It's the little egg that could. I'm going back in again tomorrow for more bloodwork and scan. Hoping I'm ready to trigger tomorrow. I am concerned about missing my window since I got a blaring +OPK today, but I spoke with the nurse for 15 mins explaining my concerns and she said they rely on the blood work and ultrasound over the ovulation test strips. I understand that, but my history is to O the day or two days after my first positive so I will be royally pissed if they miss my window this cycle. I just have to keep putting one foot in front of the other for all of these huge things going on in my life and hope they all pan out.
Any questions?
GTKY: What was the highlight of your weekend? Having a day with my sisters on Sunday to celebrate my 30th (which was earlier this month but we had to coordinate our schedules). I feel like we're back to our normal selves and all the weirdness between me and my pregnant sister is gone. That's a huge relief.
@TravelingCouple I love the phrase "the little egg that could". I am visualizing it as a cute little train egg. Many FX for your egg and for your house!
@Redpuma119 I actually totally get it. Last night I ordered food and had the remote and the bed to myself! @mispanda I temped during my first medicated cycle and gave it up after that. There are so many appointments that I felt comfortable that we wouldn't miss it after the first. It felt weird to give up though. I think progesterone supplements are the biggest culprit when it comes to messing up charts. You'll figure out what works for you. @antoto You inspired me to have a countdown too! 17 days sounds sooo much closer. @Pinky917 I know what you mean about feeling like you can sit back a little. Glad you are feeling relaxed! @beanship Welcome, I hope your stay is short! Rock climbing sounds pretty fun! @TravelingCouple Go egg go!!

What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?) Lupron, Estrace and we will add PIO after my stripe check (hopefully) on July 5th! I've been drinking some pom juice to help my lining because why not?
How are things going? Chugging through this Monday!! I really cannot wait to get home and get in bed buuut my H is traveling for work which means I have to do everything myself this week whomp.
Any questions? Yes, can someone please inspire me with a healthy dinner recipe?
GTKY: What was the highlight of your weekend? We had a wedding and I loooove weddings!!
@purplg8r I didn't even know that the Yelp community was even a "thing" until last year when I got a nudge for an elite nomination. I've met lots of really great people here through the events and eaten my entire body weight in delicious foods.
@LeilaK9288 Oh gosh, I know that anxious feeling all too well when you are waiting for the results of the SA. I truly hope you do find something, but if you don't, there's still hope. I know it is devastating to see that -0- in front of you, but there are still extractions that can make your BFP a possibility!
@TravelingCouple I'm thrilled that all is going well with your housing situation. Go egg, go!!!

@purplg8r I dont know. When I first started TTC I always tested. A lot. But starting around cycle 6 I started getting too depressed by negatives. AF coming was less sad for me. My hopes are so high this cycle since its our first treatment cycle, but it still is unlikely to work for us soooooo...I dunno. I may test on Friday.
@Hollyyyy (and FYI @BertieMeetsGertie ) check with your RE. Not all REs require you to abstain. It seems to be something they more often require in conservative states to prevent an HSG from being used as an abortion. My RE (and a bunch of other peoples) didn't care at all about if we banged prior to an HSG since we hadn't ovulated yet.
@TravelingCouple go little follicle go! It thinks it can. It thinks it can.

This is true, but also like wtf conservatives leave us alone we're already infertile stop with your ascientific nonsense.

Seriously! But, without getting too political, since when do those kind of people (and I don't mean conservatives, I mean the whole conservative bible thumping let-me-get-all-up-in-your-buisness-but-I-am-on-wife-number-4-because-Jesus-only-cares-about-your-sins-not-mine people) care about how science works anyway?
@adirt@kiwi2628 since they require you to do either a urine test or beta AND you wouldn't have ovulated, I don't see how BDing would make any difference. Totally overkill.

@BertieMeetsGertie my RE didnt even require a beta or ovulation test or anything. I had a period. It ended. I went in for an HSG a few days later and thats it.

Just got back from my follow up. So the prolactin is definitely high and I've got an MRI scheduled for this week. The fragile x is no beuno. Oh, and, I have PCOS.
@kiwi2628@adirat@BertieMeetsGertie All valid points! I do live in Oregon, so it might not be much of an issue here. They didn't say anything about it when I made my appointment, but after lund's experience a couple of weeks ago, I'll probably play it safe...or just lie haha. Normally I wouldn't advocate anything other than 100% transparency with someone monitoring your health, but that ish was ridiculous!
@haylsbayls Welcome back!! How are you feeling post-op?
@magnolia131 How's the progesterone doing? Has your RE ever given you a reason for the fluctuation?
@purplg8r I do have IF coverage, but I think my RE coded some things as diagnostic at first. GL! I hope yours is able to code yours so that some of treatment is covered.
@AlohaKumu So excited things are moving along for you!! August will be here soon!
@BertieMeetsGertie I'm glad your HSG went well! What a relief to have that out of the way now.
@JuneRoseRuby Oof! That's a rough weekend. GL with the SA!
@beanship Hi there. I have PCOS too. With Femara, I got some night sweats, but that's about it. I had a poor response though (cycle was cancelled because I had no follie growth after almost 4 weeks of meds and 2 increases in dosage). That said, most people with PCOS do ovulate with femara so best of luck to you!
@Redpuma119 Hugs to you. I'm so sorry about your dx. Let yourself grieve for a bit over it. Then get your hands on some good scientific research on your dx, make a plan for the future, and get ready to fight!
@Hollyyyyy I'm finally feeling better! I'm four weeks post op this week. Taking estrogen/progesterone was the worst part for me but it will hopefully all be worth it
@Redpuma119 I'm sorry to hear that. Does your RE have a plan for you?

@laurad75 love it! It's nice to get a med break and I'm glad you are making some forward progress
@mispanda I totally have up temping after starting medicated cycles. For the first couple it was so nice because it was less to stress about. Now I'm so far into the bullshit of IVF that I wish I could just be temping again!
@adirat Yay! Glad you're finally off the bench and back into action!
@TravelingCouple Hopefully the inspection goes well - and that your little egg that could is THE egg!
@haylsbayls Welcome back! Glad you're feeling better and really hope you get good news at your U/S

Any questions? nope - still just trying to take everything in
GTKY: What was the highlight of your weekend? Finding my one potato plant that came up!
Thanks, ladies, for your support!!! It means so much to me! I have an MRI scheduled later this week and will most likely start on meds to lower the prolactin. I'll also be focusing on my diet to help with the polycystic ovaries. I'll read up on It Starts With the Egg as well.
@adirat they grew my samples out to check for any additional issues that were showing 3 scores. Because I didn't have 3+ I am good. We I'll do testing early though, if I do get pregnant. Thank you so much for your support and knowledge throughout this.
@purplg8r I have absolutely no idea hahaha! We planted a bunch, but only one seems to have grown. Mind you, with all the family stuff going on, I hadn't been there in over a month to water them, and they are growing in the hottest part of Canada. I did have a few beets and a bunch of carrots come up too! And some bean plants!
@Redpuma119 I hope your MRI goes well later this week and that you get more information to help guide you along your journey,
@Sailing_Mama I'm super-impressed with your potato. The one time I tried to grow sweet potatoes I just ended up with a bunch of vines after months of waiting and watering!

Congrats on being off the bench!! @Redpuma119 so sorry for the PCOS diagnosis. @antoto 17 days!!!! @leekat14 yay for FET cycle! When is your FET date? @mispanda I still do OPKs for my medicated cycles and last cycle they did my IUI too late even though I had told them I had two days of positive OPKs. This cycle they're paying more attention and actually told me to do OPKs and call them if I got a positive before my scheduled IUI date. @kmalls sorry for CD1 but I'm glad you're moving forward and seeing a doctor soon! @Hollyyyyy good luck with your HSG this week! @vflux33 I've got fx for you! When are you testing? @purplg8r sorry to see you here but I'm glad you're getting an RE referral! GTKY: What was the highlight of your weekend? I had a great conversation with a friend last night. She texted to ask what happened with the IUI last month, because I never texted her to give her an update. I told her it didn't work and she was upset that I hadn't told her sooner. I said that I feel like I'm a broken record lately and that I don't want to be that friend who always talks about herself and her problems. She was so supportive and told me that's what she's there for, for the good and the bad, and no matter the outcome she wants to know so she can support me the best way that she can.

How are things going? Fine. Just hanging in there. Not much happening right now.
GTKY: What was the highlight of your weekend?
My whole weekend was good, actually! I spent most of it at a town festival and it was great.
@Redpuma119 I'm sorry to hear that. Does your RE have a plan for you?
EDD: March 24, 2018 - angel baby at 21 weeks
@adirat So happy that you are off the bench!!! Finally!
@madspunk it's so nice to have a little break from everything. This week I'm feeling so over the pills...
@haylsbayls welcome back! Good luck this week, I hope you get cleared!
@TravelingCouple thinking about you and all of the craziness this week! Yay!!!
@Redpuma119 Hugs girl.
@TravelingCouple Hopefully the inspection goes well - and that your little egg that could is THE egg!
@haylsbayls Welcome back! Glad you're feeling better and really hope you get good news at your U/S
@Redpuma119 Ooof - that must have felt like a kick in the gut. So sorry you are having to deal with PCOS on top of everything else. Did your doctor give you any idea of what the plan is, or are you taking a few well-needed days to process before that?
AFM...
Cycle/CD: Uh... 9 months, 6 cycles, CD 78
Any questions? nope - still just trying to take everything in
GTKY: What was the highlight of your weekend? Finding my one potato plant that came up!
@zwink1 I always try to get H to go to festivals with me but he never will
@Sailing_Mama a potato plant sounds fun! I know nothing about them. About how many potatoes does one plant produce?
@adirat they grew my samples out to check for any additional issues that were showing 3 scores. Because I didn't have 3+ I am good. We I'll do testing early though, if I do get pregnant. Thank you so much for your support and knowledge throughout this.
@Sailing_Mama I'm super-impressed with your potato. The one time I tried to grow sweet potatoes I just ended up with a bunch of vines after months of waiting and watering!

@Redpuma119 so sorry for the PCOS diagnosis.
@antoto 17 days!!!!

@JuneRoseRuby hope the results come back with good news!
@beanship welcome! I take evening primrose oil because I also have hardly any CM. Good luck with this next cycle!
@TravelingCouple that's so cool that you were already able to connect with some of the neighbors! I hope they're able to get the timing right for your IUI.
@saralee797-2 hope you were able to get some rest when you got home!
@haylsbayls yay!! I hope the surgery went well and that you are cleared to TTC again!
@GG620 I tested my trigger last cycle and it was super duper light from about 3 days post trigger till about 9 days post.
@madspunk glad you're enjoying your break!
@Sailing_Mama hope this cycle ends soon for you.

@shortstack930 good luck today!
AFM- Question! For those of you who have done fertility meds, do your post-O symptoms go away? Normally 24-48 hours after O my boobs get big and hurt, and they hurt and hurt until 24-48 hours before AF. I am now 9 DPO and no pain. No swelling. Nothing.
@shortstack930 Good luck today!! Sounds like you have a great friend in your corner too!
