After a loooonnnggg 18 day hospital stay due to severe preeclampsia, Cassandra Emma D. was born on 6/23, 830 grams, about 33cm. She was exactly 28 weeks. (These pix were taken yesterday.) She is now 30+2 or 2+2. She gained 115 grams and is now 945 grams...2lbs 1.3oz. She is breathing on her own with CPAP at lowest setting as a backup. She's getting all her nutrients via IV as her digestion is still an issue. The docs are doing tests and studies to figure out why. But otherwise, she is doing absolutely amazing! She is already sucking her binky...she even holds it in herself! She isn't a unposed to do that yet!!! My story is long and triggering...so if anyone wants to hear it, please message me. I do NOT wanna cause any unnecessary anxiety. Love love ❤️

Harrison Lee was born on August 12 at 1:52 pm, at 37w1d. He weighed 5 lbs 14 oz and measured 19" long. Mom and baby are doing great. I will do a full birth story later.
Anna Katharine was born August 13, 2017 at 9:51am. She was 36+6 weighed 7pds 2oz and 19inches. My water broke around midnight and I was 1cm, by 4am I was 9cm. They waited a few more hours to have me push until her head dropped further and then with 22 minutes of pushing Anna Kate was here! We stayed an extra day in the hospital since she was technically premature by 1 day, but she passed all the extra tests with flying colors and was a healthy weight so we are home!
Zara Anne was born on August 10th at 1:59pm. She weighed 4lb 12oz and measured 18 inches long. She is currently in NICU due to being nearly 6 weeks premature, but we are progressing nicely and very close to being allowed to come home.
Hudson is here! At 37 weeks and 3 days. My induction started Tuesday night and he was finally born about 41 hours later on Thursday the 17th of August. It was a rough labor, I'll keep it short and give the synopsis... if anyone would like more details they're welcome to message me labor was progressing as expected just very slow. I got a fever around 8 cm then at 9.5 cm dilated it spiked and baby's heart rate went up. They let me try pushing early with 10 contractions but I just kept tearing and baby's heart rate started to decelerate so I got a emergency c-section. But he is here now and while he got pretty beat up during delivery he is healthy and happy, and that is all that matters!
It's a boy! Charlie Rowan was born at 5:42pm, after about a 45 hour induction process. He's only 4 lbs 15 oz, so he's spending some time in the NICU. Only once ounce shy of the cutoff, but otherwise he seems healthy!
Little no-name eclipse baby is here!! He came at 9:30 this morning after 2 pushes. He's a month early, weighs 4 lbs 11 oz and is in the special care nursery. Praying that he gets biggger and stronger by the minute!!
Liam Patrick was born on 8/14 at 37w 0d via emergency c-section weighing 7lb 2oz (same as DS1!). He's doing great and I'm slowly getting back to myself after a rough first week of issues.
ayotale was born on the 19th of August at 5:50pm after my water broke and I got the bloody show still without any contraction at 36 weeks 4days. Weighing 2lb 3oz. Had an emergency cs since baby couldn't survive for longer go through the rigour of a vagina birth as I wasn't dilating any way. he came out crying on his own and he is so healthy and loves eating.mummy is healthy as well.
My rainbow baby Evelyn Lucille was born 8/23 at 1:47 pm, 7 lbs 9 oz and 21.25 inches long.
Long rambling Birth story:
I arrived having irregular contractions without feeling them, and 2 cm 70%. I got my first dose of cytotec at 9:15 pm and was just.. cranky. My blood sugar also shot up and was difficult to get back down! I think it was due to stress and anxiety. I listened to relaxing piano music (Pride and Prejudice soundtrack!) all night to relax and try to help lower my blood sugar and avoid the dreaded insulin drip. Second dose of cytotec was at 1:30 am and I began feeling uncomfortable cramps around 3 am and it reminded me of my loss last August. I was actually having contractions every 3-4 minutes lasting 90-120 seconds. I was 3 cm and 70% then. We started pitocin at 6:00 am to help regulate and increase the frequency of the contractions. Meanwhile, DH slept the entire night
I woke him up at 7 am because my doctor was supposed to arrive then. She arrived and broke my water at 7:15 am. Omgsh.. the experience of having gallons of warm fluid gush around your butt is indescribable. So weird!! I was in shock for several minutes haha. I told them I wanted an epidural right then too and they said the anesthesiologist would arrive in 20 minutes. The next contraction I had though was significantly more painful and TMI! made me have to pee and poop! It's like the contractions made everything come. I went into the bathroom and really struggled with breathing through the contractions and couldn't even have enough time to wipe before another came behind it. And of course my endo shows up while I'm suffering in the bathroom! I crawled out after a few minutes and was hanging on DH unable to talk, and we attempted to review plans for insulin for the rest of delivery. I was in so much pain and in tears .. idk how ppl do this without medicine. Finally at 8:15 the anesthesiologist showed up.. I couldn't imagine how I was going to sit still through the contractions which felt like they were coming every 30 seconds. Did all my practiced breathing and made it through it. By 8:45 I could talk through contractions and by 9:00 I was completely pain free! 100% gone. It was AMAZING! I was checked to be 5 cm and I took an amazing solid restful nap for 1 hour until I was woken up by a stupid spam phone call number -.- . Dh was fast asleep. Then my nurse came in and we tried to reposition to the other side but baby did not like that side. She checked me again to see if it was progress related, and I was 8.5 cm! She got all the delivery stuff set up and said prepare for a lunch time baby! At noon I called her and said I could feel ... pain in the front which was new. No poop feeling. She came to check me and I was a 10! She sat with me and said we're going to "labor down" for 30 minutes to try to let gravity and contractions bring her head a little lower and we did practice pushes. DH woke up finally during this time Lunch arrived while waiting for my doctor to show and DH tried to start eating! And then my doctor showed up! We started pushing at 12:30. DH was actually interested in helping hold my leg and look at what was going on... which weirded me out but then between pushes he would go and take bites of his food!! I was like what are you doing?? He said "I'm hungry!!!" "UM WE'RE HAVING A BABY RIGHT NOW!" Haha. So I had to push for an hour and 20 minutes.. she just wanted to take her time to get out. She had the hiccups and would kick even during pushing and it cracked my doctor up. TMI Her head was visible for most of that time and we could see she had quite a bit of hair.. My doctor spent the time putting Evelyn's hair in pigtails!! She was totally born with her hair in pigtail spikes XD my doctor is crazy and funny and easygoing and so silly. She originally thought I had a small first degree tear but upon further assessment changed it to a second degree. Boo stitch. Evelyn didn't really latch great at first and they checked her blood sugar 30 minutes after her first feed and she was 34. Instead of waiting and seeing if breastfeeding would work, I had them thaw some of my colostrum. She took 13 mLs of colostrum immediately which brought her up to a blood sugar of 51 one hour later (had to be above 45). She is healthy but had elevated bilirubin today so she's under the phototherapy lights. She has my hair color it looks like She is so beautiful, I know I'm a bit biased!

Rowan Miles was born on 08.25.17 at 4:32am and 38+0 weeks. He was 9lb even, and 21.5" long!
Like his brother, the birth went very quickly- I had inconsistent real contractions in the late evening on 08.24.17, but they faded out so that I was able to sleep. I woke up at 1am, called the MW and was at the hospital by 2am. In spite of my fast labor and lots of babies being born that night, I was able to get an epidural 30 min before Rowan was born. We were at the hospital for less than 2.5h at that point!
Rowan came out with a full head of hair, and we're both doing amazing. Big brother Rhys was very excited to meet Rowan yesterday.
Emmaline Rae was born 8/19 @ 4:14pm, 7lbs 6oz, 19 inches long at 37+2.
It took 12 hours to progress from 3cm 70% to 5cm 90% with regular contractions, laboring mostly at home. Arrived at the hospital at 11am, Dr. broke my water and things sped up. I had one dose of Fentanyl at 6cm 100% and when it wore off, I was at 8cm and the nurse discovered Emma was sunny side up. The anesthesiologist was about an hour out, so instead of getting an epidural the Dr came in and they coached DH and I through 30mins of turning baby and pushing.
Navy Marisa was born 8/25, 7 lbs 4 oz, 20 inches long. I was induced at 38+2 due to decreased fluid levels. I labored all day, and pushed for 2 1/2 hours, but we never could get Navy past my pelvic bone. She was born at 8:05pm via csection.
Walter Anthony was born at 6:45pm on August 27 at 36w4d.
It was a hellish labor that I have no desire to repeat ever again. I started having contractions Thursday around lunch time and by late Friday night, I could no longer walk or talk through them. We checked in at the hospital around 3am on Saturday morning, got the epidural around 6am. Around noon, I pushed for about 30 minutes before they realized he was sunny side up and being stubborn, so they spent a few hours trying to turn him. I pushed for nearly 4 hours, which he spent basically lodged in my pubic bone. They vacuumed him out, which was really traumatic for me, even though it seems like a very standard procedure.
It was quite shocking that, even being 3.5 weeks early, he weighed 9lb 10oz and is 23 inches long. He is currently in the NICU trying to get his blood sugar balanced, but he is doing well!
Lauren was born on the 24th at 8:21 am via planned c-section. I was 38 weeks and 4 days pregnant with mild preeclampsia. We're both doing well - she weighed 7lbs and is 19 inches.
Grateful that God saw us both through. Praying that all the mamas in the board still waiting to meet their babies the easiest labor possible and the happiest, healthiest babies.
Tallis John was born 08/27/17 @ 10:32am via a plannedish C-section. He was born at 37+4. 7lbs, 6 ounces, 19.5 inches long.He was breech and scheduled for 09/06/17 @ 39 weeks. However on 08/26 I went for a routine NST and labor and delivery and never left sure to high and unstable blood pressure. It was never to an immediate dangerous level, but high enough that the OB felt delivering him was the safest option long term as I was over 37 weeks. He had a bit of breathing issues first thing but was able to stay with us the entire time instead of the special care nursery. And considering he just nursed for an hour and fifteen minutes straight, I'd say he is doing fantastic.
surprised us by making it known he wasn't a fan of his 9/13 scheduled c/s date either.
(Long story short:) arrived at the hospital at 7am on Aug. 26 thinking for sure they were going to tell me I just peed my pants in my sleep only to find out at 7:10am that it was in fact not the case and I was ruptured! Contractions began shortly after and we were wheeled in for a c/s by 2:30pm (transverse baby/bicornuate uterus)
Heard those first little cries at 3:28pm and coming in at a peanuty 5lbs 3oz 18" long (37 weeks on dot)... he was here!
Currently spending his time flirting with the NICU nurses while he learns how to regulate his little blood sugars a bit better.
It's a boy! Harrison Gerard was born at 12:04am Aug. 26th (39w). 7lbs 4oz and 18 inches long. Contractions started at 6:30pm about 10 min apart, went into the hospital at 9:30pm when contractions were consistently 5 min apart. I was 5cm and handling contractions pretty easily, however I've had a natural birth before and knew once my water broke I would be in extreme pain, so I opted for the epidural this time and it was the best experience! Waited a bit for the anesthesiologist and after the epidural was placed I was 8cm! Doctor broke my water at 11:56 and I was complete and started pushing at 12:00. Baby was born after 4 min of pushing! No tearing and baby is healthy! I couldn't have asked for a better experience!
Finally inducted this past Friday after a week of being delayed due to the hospital being full. Started pitocin around 2:45pm, spent at least 30 mins later trying to determine each babies position, water finally broken at 7:45pm. Baby B was determined to be breech so an epidural was strongly encouraged b/c of her position and the possibility of a C-section. So I got the epidural around 9:30pm, fell asleep from 10:15-11:30ish, and woke with terrible shakes. I was checked and was at 10cm. Hubby got in scrubs and we headed for the OR at 11:55pm. Evelyn Anne was born after 2 pushes at 12:10am August 26 weighing 6lbs 8oz and 19 1/4". Drs then had to see if baby B had switched positions since A came out. She was still breech and Lillian Faith was delivered feet first at 12:18am weighing 7lbs 5oz and 20 3/4". Both completely healthy and perfect!
Ava Marie was born August 28th at 11:52 am. We started the induction at 5:30 am. At around 9:30 they gave me the epidural because I couldn't take the contractions any longer. At 10:30 she checked me and I was already at 9 cm. She walked out to start getting stuff together and about 10 min later I felt a lot of pressure! Called her back and she checked and said baby was coming out! They rushed to get the stuff together and with ONE push she was out!! Had mild posterior tearing that got me a few stitches but other than that it was my easiest delivery by far! Baby is nursing like a champ! We are both perfectly healthy and doing wonderful!!!
Our sweet Sullivan was born August 25th weighing 6lbs 6oz and 18.5 in long. Officially one week old today and we are all just loving on him so much! Big brother is so intrigued by him and we couldn't be happier to finally be a family of 4!
Charlee Mae Vaughan born 9/1/17 weighin' a whoppin 8 pounds and 12 oz @ 442 pm and was 21 in a half inches long! Labor went smooth sailing till the end she was stuck and but all is right in the world!! being a FTM and all I can say this was absolutely the best experience of my life. Her due date was today and she came into this world by being induced! Much love to all you ladies and babies !
Elliot Josephine was born 9/2! At 38+4 weighing 6 pounds 13 ounces and 18 inches long. I got my natural birth at a holistic birth center after showing up at the hospital already 7cm. After a few hours with no progress I decided it was time for my midwife to break my water. No later than 10 minutes later and 2 pushes she was here!

arrived at the hospital at 7am on Aug.
