Also, maybe this was just my set of friends, but I watched my registry like a hawk in the weeks leading up to my shower and was pissed because no one appeared to be buying anything. It wasn't until like 2-3 days before the shower that stuff started getting marked as purchased. Lesson learned: be patient! People like to do stuff last minute.

+1 on hating maternity clothing because of look/price. Im lucky i stay at home. Does the size of the areola go back to normal after you stop breastfeeding? My boobs have grown so much, and I know they will go back to my B cup eventually. I just can't imagine them going back to normal size with these huge pepperoni-areolas not going back to normal. Tried to find an appropriate meme for this...lots of porn popped up instead...oops. I'll just stick with a ren n stimpy gif.

H got my grocery store cheesecake. It's not the same as Cheesecake Factory cheesecake. My life is really hard.
OMG DH and I LOVED the Cheesecake Factory when we visited the states. We pigged out hard. The service also amuses us when they have 6 or so waiters come out at once to take us all to our tables. It seems so ceremonious lol.
My boobs were smaller after breastfeeding than before I got pregnant. Not sure about the areolas though. I feel they went back to normal. Or maybe I was depressed about my little flapjacks I had. I didn't have boobs to begin with....so.....yeah.
Don't worry guys, my boobs haven't grown much, but my areolas are literally my whole boob, so that's a thing. And +1 with @bluejeanbabi05 I'm getting a boob job to after kids
Doing a drive by because I need to sit down and catch up on all these threads but am busy catching up on work after being on vacation. Question- I keep getting these shooting pains in my lady bits. They aren't super painful or anything. But WHAT IS THIS?!
It's raining this morning! Not a common thing around this time of year in Northern California. I'm excited because it's cooler and I can wear leggings today. I'm not a fan of maternity shorts. I have yet to find a pair that is flattering to a gal with thick thighs. If I could get away with wearing my ratty pj shorts all day, I would.

+1 on the maternity clothes struggle. I think the clothes are all so plain and not my style. I splurged and bought one pair of nice shorts that I plan to wear all the time. The problem: sweat! And I'm going to get sweatier as it gets hotter grrrrr. I will be doing laundry daily unless I find some more cute pairs...
So Dh downloaded a new game for his PlayStation. It's how he stays occupied while the girls and I are at dance. He can name the character that his companion is in the game. He named him after the baby. Cue adorbs emotions.
@carries2018 I am desperately trying to catch up on work I was supposed to do this weekend (why do I always think I can work while on vacation with toddlers????), but I desperately want to dig out all of our 0-3 month stuff to reevaluate what we have and go buy MOAR!!!
Caroline (DD1) is super excited for sisters, but now she keeps asking me a bunch of times per day if the babies are out yet. She said they can be her best friend just like DD2 is her best friend. *heart eyes*

@canonmom413 you'll appreciate this. So I spent a bit more at my monthly Costco trip today than planned (damn you, seven layer dip) so had to cut a few things out of my regular grocery store list. I was going to treat myself to a listeria sub at the grocery store, but decided to just have leftovers at home instead. Welllll the grocery store sample guy had made listeria hot dogs with this yummy salsa, and it was slow, so he gave me a whole hot dog and bun yummmmmmm
@canonmom413 it was so good!! There were cucumbers and tomatoes and banana peppers. I would have never thought to put salsa on a hot dog but it totally worked.
@TallMomma29 DS keeps asking if his baby sister is at the door or if she'll be here soon. Then he talks about how she will be his best friend and then says he's going to sing "You can take a turn, and then I'll get it back" from Daniel Tiger to her when he shares his toys.

Before I was all "let's have time go by as slow as possible, kthx!" and now I'm like "OMG HURRY UP TIME! I NEED TO SNUGGLE TWIN GIRLS!" They were so cute and cuddly on the ultrasound. Good thing I'm already pregnant and my womb is pretty much at capacity for babies, or I'd probably be spontaneously pregnant again!
I took dd1 (who is 8) to Kohls to buy her friend a present and help me pick out a few baby clothes. She was so funny with all the "this is SOOOO cute!!" and "awwwww looooook!" comments. Then she told me she can't wait for him to be here because she's going to hold him all the time and give him bottles when he needs them. Guise, I'm not going to have to take care of this baby, I have a little nanny who is going to do it for me. And just like @TallMomma29, that's how I'll end up with a bus full of kids
I am so behind on TB I don't think I'll ever catch up! We had guests from out of town all weekend and they left yesterday. And now DS has a fever. Poor kid is teething really bad. Hopefully I'll be able to catch up soon!
