  • @leekat14 Maybe this is a new girl question but why are you on estrace until AF? Also really stupid question but is stimming just considered using injectable meds? If so, I did 2 stim cycles in a row the last 2 cycles. I was stimming for intercourse not IVF so it was kind of different but the first cycle I overstimmed (18 mature/almost mature follicles) and then the second cycle I got 1 follicle with 1 borderline. They didn't think there was an issue with going back to back stimming. Hopefully for you it will be the opposite of what it was for me and you'll go from your 2 follies this cycle to a glorious amount next cycle!
  • @TravelingCouple I also just popped on after my weekly girls' dinner to check for an update from @kiwi2628 - really hoping all is well
  • @madspunk My understanding is the estrace before is to gear up the pituitary gland to respond better when the IVF cycle starts.  Dr was also not concerned about two cycles in a row, whatever made me comfortable.  It would be the same for stimming for IUI or IVF.  I understand that there are probably many reasons people don't do back to back but I don't know what they might be (I guess financial could be a big one)
  • Glad to hear the surgery went well @kiwi2628.  I'll continue to send good vibes your way for good biopsy results!

    @adirat  Where did you find that?  On my phone I looked under pregnancy and I saw KU after 35 but not after IF...???
  • adiratadirat member
    @BusinessWife I just looked on the list of all forums and found it. I'm on my laptop -- maybe it doesn't show up on mobile? Dunno.

  • Ah! @beachbunnyxo123 @adirat it's on mobile under INFERTILITY, not under PREGNANCY.  Lol go figure.
  • adiratadirat member
    @BusinessWife That's kind of depressing :(

  • @adirat I definitely did not see that one when searching! And agreed, depressing!
