I haven't had any dreams about the sex of the baby, but I have a feeling it's a girl. We shall see if I'm right or wrong. I just want the little baby to be healthy! I haven't seen him/her since 16 weeks and I haven't felt LO move either. Thursday can't come soon enough.
@LosAngelesMama You mentioned In N Out yesterday which got me thinking about my upcoming trip. I went searching and found out I'll finally get to try it when I'm out that way! I texted DH freaking out, I'm so excited lol

Soo on the topic of my A/S Friday. One of my really great friends here volunteered to do a gender reveal cake for us...and I may have lead her on like oh that'd be cute but I gotta talk to DH first. Well we both think it's silly as it would just be for the 2 of us, and wtaf am I going to do with a WHOLE cake? Anways, I plan on being like oops they told us in the appointment, thanks for offering tho!
@labby18 Thats 100% something I would do. I have a hard time knowing what to say in situations like that, so I play along and then make up something later to get me out of it. It's terrible, and I'm a child.
I also pretend to know where things are when people are giving me directions. "You know where the Wiggle Bottom Bank is? You turn past it." "Oh okay... gotcha!" *googles wiggle bottom bank*

Yay for everyone getting closer to their anatomy scan! Fingers crossed for healthy babies. We had ours today and the tech switch the scanner for a bit to a 3D one. She also gave us a bunch of print outs.

@dogdisnylovr My Mom and I were literally just texting about that. We decided 6 weeks since Summer is a super busy time for most people. IDK if that's the correct etiquette though.

@Becky012016 pie would be delicious!!! We ended up doing a blue velvet cake to take to DH's parents and grandparents since we were all getting together the night after my ultrasound anyways. It was a little bit of a hot mess looking cake because I made it fast, but MIL was beside herself over it so it was totally worth it.
On a different note, my anatomy scan is tomorrow and since we found out just last week that it's a boy, I only have the scary "is everything ok" part to look forward to. I am a very anxious person apparently.

DD1 has prom this weekend and asked if she could get her nails done. I'm now enjoying a delightful pedicure. I stand by pedicures never feel as good as they do when you're pregnant.

We are having a food day at my work and I'm making crockpot meatballs. I asked SO to leave me out an extension cord for the crockpot and he leaves out a very heavy and dirty one from the yard.
So yesterday DH got hit in the leg by a pressurized brake plate at work. They've done their investigation but he'll still have to answer more questions when he goes back to work, because ya know, it wasn't enough that the company reps attacked him when he was in the hospital room. My dad got really emotional about it yesterday, I never knew this but apparently my dad lost a friend in a similar accident in high school. It was a semi rim instead of a brake plate, but similar accident. We know the situation could have been much much worse, but hearing my dad get like that was too much. Thankful DH just has a bum leg for now.
@wyomama0427 Ugh, I hate when companies get like that. They grill you until you feel it's your fault when it's really just an accident. But I'm really glad your H wasn't hurt any worse. How is he dealing with the pain? Is it at least tolerable?
