I took an hour and a half nap... at 5pm. It was not even an accident... I got in the bed and everything. Normally I would be thinking "shit, I'll never sleep tonight." Pregnant me has no such worries.
Plus one to the pasty club. Red hair, fair skin, I've had more burns than I'd care even with sunscreen. I tend to try and just stay covered unless going swimming or if it's a short outing to avoid the risk. As someone who overheats easily, it's one more reason I'm all about the snow and hate the heat.
I haven't had a proper sunburn in at least 15 years. But I'm super super super careful. I call the sun the evil day star, and avoid it when possible. But I'm envisioning our July "vacation" at Nana's house on the lake in Maine. I am planning on spending basically 5 days in the lake. I will apparently need a personal sun-umbrella that travels with me when I move around.
Random.....but I'm on Facebook and I'm super pissed that we don't have an edible cookie dough shop like NYC....that video article that pops up on my newsfeed is cruel to show a pregnant lady...
I did 3 hours of gardening/ yard work today- everything hurts and I'm obviously dying. Checked my fit bit because I must be over 10k steps....nope 6k. eff it. I'll be on the couch watching the hockey game.
OMG yes! I did maybe 2 hours of gardening today and it didn't seem like it should have been that strenuous, but I was completely exhausted when I finished and my quads are sore from going from standing to squatting/sitting multiple times. I'm sure they're going to feel even worse tomorrow. I did somehow make it to 10k steps, but I also went grocery shopping in the morning, so that helps!

I was grocery shopping earlier and found little packages of egg-free edible cookie dough AKA best thing that ever happened to me
DH and I dropped DS at a grandparents house (first time ever) and went and ran errands and went out to eat. It was so weird to have my brain only focused on feeding myself, getting myself into the car, walking around the store without having to clean up the aisle or entertain someone ... it was amazing!!! I missed my little dude but man he can wear you out!

I feel you so much on this! We went to a reveal party and to BRU beforehand and it was just so weird! No snacks and sippie cups, no wild man running around. How old is your little guy? I'm on mobile so I can't see siggys and all. Mine's a little over 2.
+1 on the whiter than white train. I can't ever find a makeup white enough for me. DH always makes jokes about how white I am. You would never know that I am, in fact, Italian. Thanks mom.

He's almost 20 months so a little over a year and a half? I'm never sure how to word how old he is lol!
