I do think when we get further along and people start having their showers we should have a AW shower/celebration thread. I'd love to see people's showers so I can live vicariously through them.
I'm generally pretty body confident. But tonight DH and I are serving as chaperones at the high school where he works. Cue mini crisis moment this moment trying to find a dress in my closest that 1) fits this pregnant belly and 2) is semi nice to wear in room full of fancied up 18 years olds.
And I I want to cut my hair. I've been browsing Pinterest and hair cut tutorials in YouTube because I think I'm going to try a new to me style, and I'm a bit nervous. Wish me luck!

@HollyGolightly09 make sure it is one thread for car seats and a separate thread for strollers. That way you can make a third thread for travel systems
Also, DH is working a duty shift at the main fire station in town, so DS and I are watching Moana. Again. For the 478,285,264,276th time.
Moana is currently playing for the second time today at our house. At least the soundtrack is good, right?

@HollyGolightly09 Right? I'm looking at trying an angled bob this time- not super short in back, but definitely above my shoulders in the back. I usually do a light layered look. Last summer I cut everything off pretty short and blunt with thick bangs. I loved it, but don't care to upkeep it again this summer.

This is the only reason I can stand watching it over and over. Plus watching my 15 month old bunny hop and shake his butt and his chicken wings to the music always makes me smile!
Just dropping by to check in with everyone. Started 13 Reasons Why, and it is definitely binge worthy. I'm already on the 3rd episode. Also, last night I managed to shop for two baby showers, both for girls, and walk out of Target and BRU without buying anything for my little girl. I'm so proud of myself

Your will power is enviable. I just ordered a pair of Christmas leg warmers. This could get ugly, y'all.
I cleaned today. And finally let go of some clothes that I have been hanging onto since high school that I will never ever fit into again. I'm going to give them to my nieces.
My MIL took me shopping last night for baby and she bought sooooooooo much stuff that I never would have asked her for. She bought his playpen/bassinet, bathtub, my baby wrap carrier, a bunch of clothes and blankets and the diaper bag. She is pretty much amazing.
Preface by saying: I know most of us are not medical professionals, but, placenta is 1.33cm from cervix. Low, but anticipated to move as the uterus stretches. Light spotting once or twice a week. Doctor reiterated pelvic rest at my AS.
But this shit is old. How serious is pelvic rest. Is it like, "don't have a second cup of coffee" serious, or "say no to crack" serious?
Here. DH and DS brought Starbucks for breakfast. I took the pup for a run. Showered. Trainers came over for a session with said pup. And now I'm ready to do nothing the rest of the day. Plus, my eyes are ITCHY. I think it was all the cottonwood floating around on my run. I might have to send DH out to go pick up some BBQ beans and cornbread, possibly my weirdest pregnancy craving yet since I usually never intentionally eat pinto beans.
BBQ sounds amaaaaaaaaaaaazing. We're going to go back home for a few days in July (about 5 hours away), and I'm already dreaming about the local BBQ place.
I went to prenatal yoga this morning for the first time this pregnancy. It was nice! Then H and I went to lunch with DD and took a walk to the library because it is too gross to play outside and we needed a change of scenery. She is currently rolling all over the floor with giant strips of fabric I gave her to play with while H and I watch reruns of Blue Bloods #lazyparents

There's one in southern Maine too, owned by the same guy. The 5 hour round trip to So Po is starting to sound like a completely reasonable pregnancy request. Right?
@jena333-2 Is it just low, or completely covering the cervix? From what I have read, if it's just low... drink the second cup of coffee, just don't get too crazy if it's completely covering the cervix, no coffee.
@jena333-2 I've heard pelvic rest for your reason is more akin to don't do crack than the second cup of coffee. FX it moves soon so you can unrest that pelvis
@Msashley2010 I need to get rid of a bunch of mine. I ordered a couple new maternity pieces and my dresser is already full. I honestly just don't know where to start.
I did a closet "purge" this morning. Mostly I just boxed up the pre-pregnancy pants, but I got rid of a few things too. We moved states a year ago and got rid of a bunch of stuff then so I didn't have much that just really needed to go. But I needed the closet space and hangers for maternity/nursing stuff. It was satisfying.
DH surprised me with a prenatal massage this morning This afternoon he painted the nursery closet. I hope the shade of pink isn't too dark. I don't want it to look like pepto-bismol!!!
Well, I know what I'm making for dinner on Monday...
@mrsmarygs I don't know how you do it! I went into Target yesterday for vitamins and tortillas, and came out with those things...and also a newborn outfit, and a 0-3mo onesie that has a lion with a bowtie on it. Today I needed to get conditioner from Amazon, and I also got a three pack of leg warmers. (My excuse is that cute boy clothes are harder to find, so I have to buy them when I find them, right?)
I also had a prenatal massage this morning. My pelvic pain is bad, guys. The massages and chiropractor together are the only way I keep comfortable at all right now. Mr. Baby is riding low, and I really hope he moves higher as he gets bigger, because my poor pubic bone and hips are already very unhappy. BUT the massage was nice, and at least for now I feel good.
Also, I have left over poutine in the fridge for my first dinner, so I really can't complain about anything.

Super jealous of your GIF'ing abilities, by the way.
I have an hour til my next client. shush.

I go back in for another look in 3 weeks. I can hold out until then.
And keeping it 100 - I would take the BBQ from Moe's over the sex right now. Oops.
