Second beta today was 378, RE said that was perfect (first beta was 190, so I was expecting 400s), now we wait 2.5 weeks for an ultrasound. I have no idea how I'm going to survive that wait!!

@MountainLady -no the dr. isn't opened on Sunday. It comes and goes, so not sure what I'm going to do.

sorta unrelated but not lol. Has anyone bought maternity stuff? I love shopping zulily and found a couple super cute things and bought them a couple weeks ago in hopes of my BFP

@morgan&paul2010 I was super crampy from the trigger. Like next level. Luckily someone on this board warned me. Especially with a lot of follies! Is your headache better??

I'm 13 days past IUI today. This 2ww seems like a 2mw (2 month wait, I just made that up). No sign of AF but that's super normal for me. She usually doesn't call ahead and just shows up.

Thanks everyone! I did go to work today. I felt okay...my stomach isn't totally normal, but not too bad. I feel like I almost had a panic attack yesterday because I am always so anxious, so that can't help with stomach issues. Work was a good distraction today, and I was pretty busy, so I didn't have time to google or think too much. I am the kind of person who needs to be busy if I am going through a stressful time. I've always had anxiety.

@JaeJayStark -thank you for the encouraging words. It is just so hard to not worry. Tomorrow I go in for all sorts of blood tests that they give you when pregnant, and I think another beta. That's why I've been freaking lately. It's like if I get good news then I'm good for a few days, and then I start getting anxious again a few days before the next appointment.

@Irisheyes81 -when will you test?

@PoeMasque -it almost doubled exactly

I can't believe they make you wait another 2.5 weeks to come in...omg another 2 week wait. Although, I have had to go in more frequently, and it isn't much easier with the anxiety and anticipation.

@LoveDontCostAThing yeah, I hear ya. I get the same way. I have had anxiety with IBS since middle school. Do you take anything for anxiety? If not, the dr might be able to recommend something.

@JaeJayStark -ugh my post that I wrote didn't post. I used to take anti-anxiety meds, but I haven't for a long time now. I have gotten pretty good at controlling it over the years, but it always flares up when I am stressed out. I have also suspected that I have IBS.

@LoveDontCostAThing I was usually able to control my anxiety but with all this is was too much. I had to go in and get put on something, at least until I get pregnant. I hope you are feeling better today.

Does anyone else check these boards like 100 times a day like I do? I'm in Seattle so I feel like all the activity dies down in the afternoon when you all are off of work. That's when my day starts to drag and I get so excited when someone posts!

@LoveDontCostAThing ugh so sorry, any digestive problem is not fun. My husband has Ulcerative Colitis and we've got our meals etc. down to a science. But stress totally causes flare up

Also- did clomid or the trigger cause you to dislike certain food? My coffee ( which I could live on coffee lol) made me feel so sick. And all my food taste off? It's weirding me out!

@morgan&paul2010 I have that too! I thought it was metformin but my aversion to things I used to like is insane. I used to drink these protein shakes and now the thought of them makes me sick

@baseballhoney I am well, just trying to stay in he moment and enjoy every minute of it. Our first US is Monday! Days seem to be going by it's just all the constant thinking going back and forth with being so excited but then cautious. Monday can't come soon enough! It'll be here before I know it. So just trucking along. Hehe.
Nausea has kicked in here and there. Def more in the morning and later at night. But when I'm hungry, watch out lol. And for some reason bananas taste SO weird to me. I used to eat one every morning and for the past few morning I was forcing myself too. Today I decided not to and treated myself to an egg everything bagel with scallion cream cheese. at first it smelled so strong, but I ate it anyways lol. My smells for sure have increased a ton, so that's cool because it's been so hard telling a difference between the progesterone side effects and the early pregnancy symptoms. How is everything on your end?

@ShyTonia I'm so excited for you! That is super exciting about the US on Monday. I get that way where my taste for things is different on progesterone. Hopefully yours evens out soon. I got AF late last week. I had my first US for this cycle yesterday. Everything looked good so started the whole thing over. So I'm thinking I will have an IUI next week sometime if everything goes like normal. I'm kind of freaking out. This will be my 2nd one. Apparently my doc only wants to do 2 IUIs before referring us for IVF, at least he said that in his note. I thought when he talked to us he had said 3 though, so I don't know. Hopefully I will know more at my next appointment.

@baseballhoney have you been diagnosed with any infertility issues? My RE recommends trying 6 IUIs unless there is a known reason it won't work.

@JaeJayStark I have PCOS and he thinks I might have early stage endometriosis. It isn't significant enough to see on any of the ultrasounds that I have had done and he doesn't want to do surgery to try to diagnose it. He said it wouldn't really change his management of anything right now. And we had done 6 cycles of timed intercourse with the same medications before IUI (letrozole, trigger shot, estrogen and progesterone). He said he isn't really sure why I'm not pregnant yet though. He thought I would be by now.

So, I got another beta today, and I listened to the message a few times and had DH listen because this number is crazy. She said my beta is 227,136! Could she be reading it wrong?? Progesterone is 68.31 and Estradiol is 863!

Leave it to ME to be concerned. I really wonder if she meant to say 27,000?? I am going to call tomorrow. My brain is now googling molar pregnancy because it's such a high number. SOMEONE TALK ME OFF THE LEDGE.

High number is good and she didn't mean 27K. During my first pregnancy my HCG was 1400 at 4 weeks. Here is the range my RE gave me:

HCG  Non-pregnant: <5 mIU/mL
     Pregnant 3 wks gestation: 5.8-71.2 mIU/mL
     Pregnant 4 wks gestation: 9.5-750 mIU/mL
     Pregnant 5 wks gestation: 217-7138 mIU/mL
     Pregnant 6 wks gestation: 158-31795 mIU/mL
     Pregnant 7 wks gestation: 3697-163563 mIU/mL
     Pregnant 8 wks gestation: 32065-149571 mIU/mL

@JaeJayStark my clinic only does 2 betas initially (which I had already), I have to wait until the 25th for my first ultrasound. I told myself I could relax once we heard a heartbeat....so the extra week of waiting is delaying my planned relaxation!

@LoveDontCostAThing I am sure it was a mistake. Either she read it wrong or it was incorrect on whatever form/screen she read it from. You said you had to listen to it a couple of times...was it hard to hear?

Also, did they seem concerned? If they did not seem worried, then I would try not to worry about it myself. I am sure it would have been flagged if there was abnormal.

How were your other numbers?

Definitely call back tomorrow to get it cleared up. Try to relax tonight...maybe light some candles, turn off the screens and read a magazine or book.

@baseballhoney I am so happy you were able to jump right back in! I'm pretty sure my RE has the same approach. We didn't get that far in talking about those next steps yet. But my gf who got pregnant through him, that's what she did. Two failed IUIs and then succeeded in IVF. and now has a beautiful little girl! I'm pretty sure our insurance won't even consider IVF unless I tried 2IUIs first. I'm so excited for you, that everything Is going on track and can't wait to hear more!

Oh and @baseballhoney any reason why he doesn't want to do the laparoscopy to rule the endometriosis out? I had it done, and he was hoping to find something to maybe ****TW explain my 2 MC end TW ***** but I had no sign of endometriosis. Which of course was great. And that brought us back to square one.

@ShyTonia He didn't want to do surgery right now because it wouldn't change his course of treatment at the moment. He would still recommend trying IUI first if I had it.
