I finally found a dresser that I liked for the nursery that won't break the bank!! DH wants to make one for a long term solution, but I wanted one in the room for the first year or two as a place holder. IKEA for the win!!! I bought these really cute white porcelain elephant knobs from Anthropologie, so I wanted a dresser that was a color, not white!
We have finally started working on our nursery! Paint and accent wallpaper walls are finished. New blinds and curtain rods are hung! The next step is flooring and hanging the curtains.

I have been dying to see your wallpaper! It looks great!

I haven't been in this thread in quite a while and I am so impressed with everyone's progress and ideas, they are all so cute I have been busy in our nursery we started with a storage room full of all kinds of crap stocked up from when we moved in 5 years ago. We painted the wood paneling got the dresser, crib put together and the curtain and rug in. Of course nothing is in it's place bc I can't quite decide yet on arrangement plus we have changing table and chair coming from family
New carpet is in! I set up the bassinet we will use in our room so the room doesn't feel so empty until our furniture arrives. Also, a few of my Hobby Lobby scores!
I am obsessing over all of these nurseries!! You ladies are so creative!
My BIL is staying in our guest room/nursery right now. We have talked to him about moving out by the end of march but that doesn't look promising. I'm getting so impatient! we started setting up furniture and placing it in the room, like the dresser. Hoping he literally gets the push he needs to get out lol
We ordered the crib and dresser from Wayfair. I love how they both look and they are exactly what I wanted. But holy cow the directions are ridiculous. They are all based on numbers and pictures - and not all of the pieces were numbered so it made for an interesting FULL day of assembly for each one.
But it was so worth it! Can't wait to start getting my nursery together and things on the wall so I can share some pictures. I'm having a boy and decided on an elephant and giraffe theme with grey, navy and pale yellow accents.
I just read this entire thread tonight and am loving everyone's nurseries! With DD1 we were team green and had a woodlands/national park theme, so I am definately obsessing over all of the mountain murals! Our apartment is just a 2 bedroom and we have a baby Bjorn bassinet for DD2 that will be in our room so there isn't much decorating for me to do. I am planning on doing a pink and orange theme, but haven't started making anything yet! I feel a little behind now seeing all of these completed rooms! You all are so creative, great job with your designs!
We got most of our furniture delivered this week, but DH has been super sick and I know putting most of it together is a 2 person job. I will just have to be patient a little while longer. In the meantime here are the paintings I made hung up and I decided to "plant" some trufallo trees (Lorax).
I love seeing all of these. We just got our chandelier and curtains up. We have a few things to get up on the walls, and we'll be done. So exciting!!!!
