@junicek and @Imajin99 for the bfn.
Congrats @Jeansis
Had my iui today but not feeling very positive about it. I was told on Wednesday that my lining was thinner than they would like but didn't give me the specifics. Started me on more estrogen to hopefully increase it. Today after the iui the nurse told me to start progesterone Sunday three times a day, schedule my beta for April 7 and since your lining is thin go ahead and schedule a follow up with The RE for the Monday or Tuesday after your beta in case its negative and she has some ideas for the next round. She did say I could always cancel the appointment if it was positive. It just left me feeling like I wasted money this cycle.
@ShyTonia and @Jeansis that is awesome news for you both. I hope everything continues to go smoothly. @bpietronicco I'm sorry you're not feeling positive. It's such a hard process. Starts to feel like nothing will work
I just read everything that happened since yesterday and feel like it was an emotional rollercoaster. It's so amazing to see some BFPs!!! It's also heartbreaking to hear people that didn't get their BFP this month. I'm so glad I joined this group. This IUI and 2ww would be unbearable without it. Now I just need Monday to come for my girls @thothscribe81 and @JaeJayStark

Well I broke down and took a HPT this morning. I was going to try my best to wait until Thursday morning (my doc likes you to take a test that day) but my DH said might as well take a test. It was a BFN. Trying not to be too down since my beta is only on Thursday, but it's really hard to be positive after seeing the test.
@bpietronicco positive thoughts your way!!! I hope your lining gets nice and thick! I've got my fingers crossed for you!
@baseballhoney Sorry about your bfn but keep your thoughts positive, you still have a few days yet! Hopefully on Thursday you will have a bfp to go into your beta with!
So it hasn't been a great weekend. Took a hpt on Sunday hoping to give myself some encouragement for my beta today and it was a bfn. I don't have much hope for my beta but trying to stay positive this morning. Should hear between 11 and 1 from the nurse. Sad because we are definitely taking a small break if this month didn't work out (both my body and our brains need a physical and mental break). Its going to be a long day at work today.
I'm sorry @thothscribe81! Hopefully you hear good news, but at least you are a bit prepared if you don't. FX that you do hear good news. Hugs if you don't!!
@thothscribe81 so sorry for yesterday I'm keeping FX for good news today and for your day to go by as fast as possible.
@kiwisun4385 sorry for the delayed response, was away this weekend and catching up on the thread! Thank you so much. Today is my second Beta so I am patiently waiting for my call as well!
And I noticed the March TWW discussion was closed.
I noticed the TWW board was closed to - did someone complain about the pictures? I dont think anyone on the board was asking if they had a positive pregnancy test they were just sharing the good news of their bfp.... seems kind of a silly reason to close what was a very helpful and supportive discussion post - isn't that the point of these boards??
@thothscribe81 is it weird that I woke up this morning thinking today was your beta and wondering if you tested ahead of time? Well, I did so you have strangers that are now your friends thinking about you from across the country. That's a huge bummer about the HPT. Hopefully the beta gives you some different news.
I loved the TWW march thread. Why is it closed? I feel like all of us were really comfortable with the content. It seems like if something was wrong, we could have been warned. I feel like you girls are the people I actually get excited for where there are BFPs. I'm also day 6 of tww and need to vent!!! That's a bummer. Maybe I'll jump on the April tww... takers?? anyone else?

@thothscribe81 I just received 2 messages from the board stating March TWW is closed and we were not to post pictures of HPT. That there is specific discussions for that. And the 2nd message was them editing one of my posts in March IUI. Hmmmmm. Hopefully we didn't offend anyone. I found everyone's posts to be so very helpful.
@irisheyes81 thanks!! It is good to have so much support from the ladies here - making new friends is a positive outcome even if the test comes back negative! *hugs*
I also totally agree about the thread being closed - if everyone was getting along, no flaming, no complaints - why are they closing it? The TWW is stressful enough without having to find a way to keep new friends updated without the board we've all been using.
@shytonia I can't speak for anyone else but I can assure you that you didn't offend me at all!!! I understand they don't want thousands of "is this positive" posts with pics of obviously negative tests. But to delete/close a supportive and friendly thread just because some ladies were sharing their good news? That pisses me off. Especially that they sent you "warning" messages. I mean we are all stressed out enough trying to navigate this time of uncertainty - and we all get support from each other - and then you have to deal with this? Thats just the opposite of supportive which is what these boards are supposed to be about. I hope it didn't stress you out to much and know that I always look forward to your updates and love to share in your good news *hugs*
I'm searching for a new board away from the bump. Anyone use any others? I don't want to put a trigger warning every time I talk about my miscarriage. Nothing like feeling like you can't speak of that on a board meant for discussing pregnancy struggles. I want to be sensitive but I also feel worse that I have to put a label on my miscarriage that I feel is unwarranted.

@jaejaystark I was going to mention that once I achieved a pregnancy I was going to find another board anyway - I lurked a bit in the first trimester and a few of the other pregnancy boards and the people there were horribly rude. The fact that our supportive thread got closed but yet people are allowed to be absolutly horrible to each other (which apparently isn't against TOU) really sucks. I'm glad I found the one board on this site that is super supportive and nice - but apparently the moderators would rather shut us down and allow the other behavior to continue unchecked. If thats the way this site is run I'd rather look elsewhere. Will probably be deleting my knot app too as I was using that for my wedding but would rather associate my wedding with happy things and not some thing like this.
Hi ladies! Just wanted to share a quick update. I spent my weekend being WAY too obsessed with every little thing my body was doing! Very worried about something going wrong. But I just got the call on my beta and it's 355 (16dpiui). This is my first positive beta rodeo, so not sure what's normal. But nurse said over 100 is good, so I guess it's good! Will go for another test in two days. Taking deep breaths now.
I am going to Justmommies.com. They have trying to conceive boards too. I got the same username so maybe I'll see you all there. Look what they say: "Welcome to the JustMommies Message Boards.

@JaeJayStark I totally feel you. When I first got the courage up to even start chatting in a board, I started a new discussion and quickly described my story and experience. TW***** which included my miscarriages *****end TW. And right away they jumped on me about not using a trigger warning, and to read the guidelines before posting anything else. I was mortified and to be honest took me a little while to even tell you guys about them in fear I would be kicked out of the group or something. Don't get me wrong they were helpful in pointing me in the right direction to what group may be better for me and a breif lesson on "trigger warnings" but man do I totally agree about making you feel worse about something you already feel horrible about.
I just went in for my first follie check (cd14) and although I have far fewer follies they are bigger than last time. I have two 13s, a 19 and a 27 (but we are 99% certain the 27 is the cyst that showed up on my baseline). So I guess we're really shooting for the 19mm. Lining was an 11 so that's nice and "fluffy". Hopefully IUI on Wednesday or Thursday!

Oh man, so much going on on this thread this morning!
I mean, sometimes I like that they police the boards... but sometimes it goes a little too far. Like, it's annoying when people obviously don't read the "read this first", and it's downright dangerous when someone starts offering old IVF medication for sale, or whatever - so I like that there is an enforcer, so the task doesn't fall to other participants. But I also like this board better than others, because it's a little gentler. The TTGP board, it seems like you can't even make an innocent mistake - if you don't follow the code of conduct exactly, you get smacked.
@ShyTonia - yeah, the trigger warnings I'm not always so good at. I mean, some of the triggers, at first, I didn't even see! I know now that some people don't like the phrase "baby dust", so I try to be respectful, but at the beginning, I had NO IDEA that anyone would associate "dust" in that context with "ashes" - I only saw the "fairy dust" association.
Or like, I can see putting a trigger warning when announcing an MC or BFP, but when you mention in passing, it seems extreme to put a trigger warning on it. Like a trigger warning on "MCs are common" or "my sister just announced her BFP" - I want to be respectful of people who are in pain, but past a certain point, it's almost censorship. Or it kind of infantilizes us: we are adult women dealing with a painful medical problem, eyes wide open; we're not children who need to be shielded from the mention of something uncomfortable.
Anyway, FX for everyone hearing back this week or with early BFNs, and congratulations to our two BFPs! I keep thinking, statistically, we are due for a couple more, so I am really hoping they come!
Hey ladies! Wow Emotional Roller coasters. To those that got there BFP. Congratulations!! For those that didn't. Im sorry.. sending you a big hug. What I love about this process is our strength as women. To be able to fall down and get back up on CD 1 and give it another go.
To those waiting. I hope this week fly's by for you. If you go on Amazon.com order "The Two Week Wait Challenge: A Sassy Girls Guide to Surviving the TWW" Order it today. Its free. There are daily challenges in the book to keep us sane during the TWW.
My RE doesn't schedule us for a Beta he said if you test 12dpiui and get a BFP then he bring you in. So I will be testing, Sunday the 2nd, if AF doesn't show up.
@bpietronicco Sending you positive thoughts. You are my cycle buddy so we have to be strong for each other. *Hows that for pressure*
Seriously I have felt the same way you felt. Im only 4dpiui and I had some cramps, so I thought its too early for Implantation, it must be AF. Trying to stay positive has been a challenge for me.
This is my first time posting on the boards and wanted to
introduce myself. My name is Amaryllis and I'm 30 years old. I have been
diagnosed with Empty Sella Syndrome. Empty Sella syndrome is a rare disorder
that occurs when an empty space in the brain fills with cerebrospinal fluid which
causes the pituitary gland to becomes compressed against the walls. Basically,
my pituitary gland is squished in my brain and doesn’t send signals to my body
to produce enough hormones. I knew that I would need to do hormone treatment to
become pregnant.
My husband and I started our journey last December 2016. I
started with one Menopur 75iu injection and the doctor increased it to 2 vials
(150 iu) a day for 3 weeks. My estrogen level was not responding and he shortly
canceled me. I was very devastated but kept my hopes up.
On March 17, I started the Menopur injections again but with
3 vials (225iu). The process has been slow but my estrogen level is finally
responding! I go back on Wednesday for another ultrasound & blood work to
see if any follicles have grown (currently 8mm follie RS & 6mm follie LS).
I’m happy to have found a place where I can learn and share
my experience. I look forward to meeting all of you!
Hi all, i wondered where the TWW board went. Although seeing the BFP pics were painful to see, in the midst of my BFN, I wouldn't report anyone and it's no more painful than seeing pregnancy announcements on Facebook. At the end of the day, we can't stop life! I also think the TW is extreme. Do ppl actually stop reading when they come across TW? I doubt it. Happy for those of you who have achieved what we are all looking to find. For the rest of us, fingers crossed for future happiness
Well ladies, I had a doctor's appointment today and it looks like I will be officially converting this cycle from IUI to IVF - so I will post on that board from now on. Just wanted to update!
Apologies for my silence, we webt away for an impromtu vacation without ineternet!
Huh, that's a real shame about the TWW board - for the record, I was not offended by any of your BFPS. If anything it's just fabulous and uplifting to hear of people who've had TTTC getting a good result... I mean, that's the whole reason we put ourselves through this & share our stories with each other! Now, if you had been a newb with no TTTC posting a silly "is this a BFP", I might feel differently!!
I'm 11DPO(12DPIUI) today - i have ZERO self restraint so I started testing 7DPO. So far all negatives, but I've got 2 more tests left in the pack.
I had a ridiculous moment yesterday - the HPT tests I've been using were all bought in a 30% off pharmacy binge shopping trip... all the same 2pack clearblue ones, or so I thought! They're they style that give you one line for a no, and a perpendicular line crossing it for a yes. So far, all my tests were single line negative results. Popped open a new 2 pack for a little afternoon test (see previous lack of self-restraint) and it had a totally blank window. Assuming it must be a dud I read the instructions from the new box... ANY line meant a positive. OMG does that mean all the previous days ones were positive... cue running around like a hysterically happy chicken, followed by DH pointing out they are just different test styles. URGH clearblue I do not like you!
Me: 34 DH: 32 TTC #1: Oct 2015 DX: Unexplained - all tests normal TXX: Jan '17 - 1st round of Letrozole 25mg CD1-9... BFN Feb '17 - 2nd round of Letrozole 25mg CD1-9... BFN Mar '17 - 3rd round of Letrozole 25mg CD1-9 + IUI... BFP!!!!!!
@MountainLady - OMG once I bought a different kind of CB HPT, and accidentally thought it was the same as the other type (I was keeping them in the same box to save on space in my cupboard), and for like 3 seconds, I thought it was a positive. Happiest 3 seconds of my life.
Then I double-checked and realized it was a negative, and was like - Ugh.
Anyway, keeping FX that yours was actually a positive, and that you didn't make the same mistake as me!

@irisheyes81 maybe you can start a new March 2WW that way the women that are still in their 2WW can just join the new one. or like you said move to the April thread?
its all alittle insensitive if you ask me. Why not a warning first? Grrrrrr.

Don't get me wrong they were helpful in pointing me in the right direction to what group may be better for me and a breif lesson on "trigger warnings" but man do I totally agree about making you feel worse about something you already feel horrible about.
@ShyTonia and @Jeansis congrats on the BFP!
thothscribe81 thinking of you and praying for your BFP!

Hello Ladies,
This is my first time posting on the boards and wanted to introduce myself. My name is Amaryllis and I'm 30 years old. I have been diagnosed with Empty Sella Syndrome. Empty Sella syndrome is a rare disorder that occurs when an empty space in the brain fills with cerebrospinal fluid which causes the pituitary gland to becomes compressed against the walls. Basically, my pituitary gland is squished in my brain and doesn’t send signals to my body to produce enough hormones. I knew that I would need to do hormone treatment to become pregnant.
My husband and I started our journey last December 2016. I started with one Menopur 75iu injection and the doctor increased it to 2 vials (150 iu) a day for 3 weeks. My estrogen level was not responding and he shortly canceled me. I was very devastated but kept my hopes up.
On March 17, I started the Menopur injections again but with 3 vials (225iu). The process has been slow but my estrogen level is finally responding! I go back on Wednesday for another ultrasound & blood work to see if any follicles have grown (currently 8mm follie RS & 6mm follie LS).
I’m happy to have found a place where I can learn and share my experience. I look forward to meeting all of you!
~Amaryllis~

i wondered where the TWW board went.
Stoked for you @Jeansis and @ShyTonia!
Welcome @AC93639 & good luck!
TTC #1: Oct 2015
DX: Unexplained - all tests normal
TXX:
Jan '17 - 1st round of Letrozole 25mg CD1-9... BFN
Feb '17 - 2nd round of Letrozole 25mg CD1-9... BFN
Mar '17 - 3rd round of Letrozole 25mg CD1-9 + IUI... BFP!!!!!!
Then I double-checked and realized it was a negative, and was like - Ugh.
Anyway, keeping FX that yours was actually a positive, and that you didn't make the same mistake as me!
