Hi guys! Wow, as @funkykey said,  yesterday was a bad day to not check the boards :)

My two cents is: A Harvard study concluded that woman suffering from infertility feel as anxious or depressed as those diagnosed with cancer, hypertension or recovering from a heart attack.
    https://www.health.harvard.edu/newsletter_article/The-psychological-impact-of-infertility-and-its-treatment
It is confusing, disappointing, sad, frustrating, stressful, expensive, sometimes embarrassing, sometimes brings feelings of guilt etc. Above all, infertility is lonely.  Rules are made to protect the hurting and to create balance.  They are important and serve a purpose.  However, rules that become too strict hurt the very essence of that purpose.  More people are hurt because the 2WW board is closed.  I saw another was opened and I will post there.  I won't leave because I need you guys. I understand my girl @jaejaystark wanting to leave but I know she will be in my life regardless.  We have been following each other's journey (a lot thanks to @funkykey for the great chart on all our dates  B) ). I was never offended.

@thothscribe81 I'm so sad for you.  I knew you were going to take a break after this month because of how awful and emotionally draining it all is.  I'm sure it's been a rough couple days.  I'm so sorry.

ShyTonia Congratulations! Your numbers look amazing.  That is SO exciting.  I can't wait to see updates. I did get the notification that the 2WW was closed and it was because of the pictures of tests.

@londonsmom-2 Thanks for the 2WW resource. I'm on day 7 and losing my mind.

AC93639 Welcome! What CD were you on on the 17th when you saw the follicles? I ask because mine were only 13 on cd 11 and just took a really long time to grow.  My IUI was on CD 19 but I've seen girls go even longer than that. Growing to 8 is good! That sounds like a complicated and difficult diagnosis but something they can treat with medications and hopefully get you to the results we all desire.

junicek I feel like people read more when there is a TW.  It's like looking at an accident while driving.  We don't want to see it but for some reason, it's important to look.

    @kiwisun4385 Good luck!!

@mountainlady you are so funny.  Why are they all so different? It's the worst feeling in the world to think that a BFP or BFN might be wrong because of not knowing which test goes with the corresponding box.  Welcome back from a little internet break.

+OPK this AM, 9am IUI tomorrow! Just squeaked it in in March

Was pretty much expecting an + tomorrow and IUI Thursday so the plan was to pickup our sample Tomorrow and DH would do it since it's closer to his work. Well now we need the sample today so it's an extra $100 for a rush and DH is out of the country so I have to take the little girl I nanny on a 2 hour road trip to the sperm bank... :D

Sorry you've been feeling so down @JaeJayStark. Hoping today brought better news <3

Just had my IUI this morning, is anyone else in the TWW with me?? And from what I recall we've only had two BFPs this month, there needs to be more floating out there somewhere.

Welcome @AC93639 - did you have an IUI this month? We have started an April IUI thread too, it's just not quite as active yet...

@thothscribe81 - I'm sorry. I noticed on the TWW thread that it was official. :( I'd hoped you'd only had a negative HPT, and that your bloodwork would be positive. A BFN after an IUI - or even any treatment - is gutting. Take care of yourself, and all the best to you over the next few weeks!

@SoonToBeMommaHowe - glad you squeaked that in. :)

@JaeJayStark - I am sorry you are feeling down. Really hoping it's too soon to test and that you get a BFP today!

Guys, what we are going through is very, very difficult. IF treatments are not for the faint of heart. I know now that a lot of us are getting BFNs (statistically about 80% of us), things are really tough. Every time I try something new and it fails, I feel it like a punch to the gut, or a kick to the head. I think: "How could I let myself be hopeful again?" and then: "How do I keep going on?"

I want to say, I have so much respect for all of you, for everyone who tries in spite of setbacks and disappointments - for everyone who puts themselves out there, and who handles these disappointments, over and over, with strength and grace. It is so beautiful to me that, in spite of our disappointments, we do a good job of being happy and supportive for those who have succeeded.

Anyway, thank you for inspiring me, and for being so kind. :)

@funkykey  You summed up my feelings extremely well!!!  This is such a hard process and while its still devastating to get a negative month after month, its helpful to have communities like this and ladies like you all to commiserate with.  And thank you for your inspiration!!!!!!  You are an awesome lady :)

@JaeJayStark - sorry re: BFN. :( Damn. Take it easy - the BFN days, and CD1- I find those the most depressing.

@londonsmom-2 & @Sonebone - FX for you during the rest of your TWW! Agonizing!

@Irisheyes81 - LOL. But also, in all seriousness - as I've approached ovulation on clomid, and even during my luteal phase now, I've had both more gas and more constipation. Ugh. @Jeansis - that game - growing follicle or bowel movement - would actually be really hard on fertility meds! Hahaha! Maybe there'd be an advanced "IVF" only round? ;)

    Well said @funkykey <3

@irisheyes81 my IUI went well. DHs total motile count was 37mil and the nurse commented that someone doing their first IUI should practice on someone like me because my cervix is perfectly centered and a breeze to insert the catheter in. My question then is if its so easy to get into then why the heck can 37 million swimmers not find the egg!?

@SoonToBeMommaHowe oh man, you're lucky because I have the exact opposite experience every time I've had an HCG or IUI. They always hit a wall and have to use a "road map" to remember how to get it in AND a special catheter! I asked my doctor if the sperm might have trouble getting through but she said no, sperm are so tiny that they find a way in.

@mountainlady YAY! that is so amazing. What great news to read :) Famera makes me pretty intolerable but this round of progesterone is next level.  I yelled at DH last night with tears running down my face. He's like "do you want wine or ice cream?" oops

@SoonToBeMommaHowe Awesome numbers! 37 million is so strong. High five to your cervix! Mine was a little more like @sonebone where it's more complicated. Nothing better than smooth sailing with a catheter.  Glad it went well though! How many follicles did you have this time?

@seethosestars So sorry to hear that. Nothing like CD1.  I love the picture on your siggy :)

Lol, sorry the progesterone is kicking your butt @Irisheyes81. These hormones are enough to make us crazy!

DH always has great numbers so I'm thinking we're dealing with an egg quality issue but of course we won't know that until IVF, if we get there. I think I just had one follie...I had a 13mm cyst on cd3, then at my check on cd14 I have two 13s, a 19 and a 27. I'm guessing one of the large ones was the cyst. Got a +OPK on cd15 so Either the 19 or the 27 was ready. FX one of those 37 million swimmers find something!!

Sometimes I think to myself making these charts is the closest I will get to running a research project that finds some IF breakthrough. Like I wish the charts were bigger and there were more data points and we cold see, actually: "aha! That specific drug combo is the most effective." Or something.
