I just found out a week before my 31st birthday that I am pregnant with my husband's and I first child. This is my first pregnancy and we had only been trying for one cycle before I became pregnant. It feels so sudden.
I will be prowling these halls looking for advice to easy my anxiety. I am 6.5 weeks along and am learning the joys of afternoon nausea. Is it weird that I love feeling every symptom no matter how bad it makes me feel? Its like a hello from baby. I am pretty terrified of a miscarriage so it's comforting.
I don't have any female family members where I live so it's just me, my husband, and my father in law (no mother in law or sister in laws.) Its so nice to have this community to turn to.
My EDD is 11/12/2017 and I am looking to you STMs for guidance in the weeks to come.
Hi everyone! This will be baby #3 for DH & I. This pregnancy came as a big shock and we just found out on Monday. DD will be 2.5 next month, and DS will be 1 in a few months, so we will have our hands full. We are both still getting used to the idea, but I'm hoping that diving into my BMB will help my excitement! When #3 is born, we will be 1 month short of 3u3! Not sure of due date because this was a surprise, but definitely sometime in November.
Looks like I go here now! I am PGAL, I had a MC at 11 weeks last March, but we basically knew it was coming from week 6. I am freaking out a little bit, but I am SO EXCITED! I thought we were out this cycle because DH injured himself so we had sex ONCE, 7 days before FF says I ovulated?! Anyhow, I am a FTM from Cincinnati, Ohio. I will probably hang out here and the December board when it pops up until I can get an actual due date. Right now calculators are guessing 11/30-12/1. I am so stoked to be here!

Hello! It's been quite a while since I have been part of a pregnancy forum. My son is almost 6 already! Time flies. My EDD is 11/7 and we're very excited. In addition to excited, I am also very bloated. All. Of. The. Time! I look 4-5 months preggo by the end of each day. Not a symptom I had last time. Haha
Hi everyone! I've been lurking for a few days but I guess now is as good a time as any to introduce myself. I'm 30 and DH is 32 and we're in NC, right outside of Raleigh. DS is 14 months and this pregnancy was a bit of a surprise. EDD is 11/24. I was in the Jan 2016 forum with my son and it was GREAT. Looking forward to joining you ladies for pregnancy #2!
Hello! I'm 5w1d today! We found out the good news on St. Patrick's Day! We are excited and nervous, this is pregnancy #2 and we lost #1 when it was discovered at 11 week ultrasound to have stopped developing around week 5. Crossing everything to get to that first ultrasound and see a heartbeat!
My biggest symptoms right now are crazy fatigue, a kind of constant low-level of queasiness, and a combination of insane dreams/having to get up to pee every 3 hours that is keeping me from sleeping as much as I would like.
Hey there ladies! I am so excited to be active on The Bump again. My DD was born in Dec '15 (approaching 16 months) and I was active in that BMB and branched off into a Facebook group with a small group of women. We have all kept in touch and still talk on FB daily. The bump is such a cool resource. Anyway, this is baby #2 for me and I think I'm due Nov 27, based on my calculations. I had a miscarriage before DD, so my OB does the double blood draw (2x w/in 48 hrs) to check my HCG. Today I found out the didn't only double in 48hrs, but they went up 5x!!! I'm praying for a sticky baby! Can't wait to get to know you all better!
Hi Everyone. I'm a STM. DS just turned 2 in January. My EDD is Nov 3. I'm excited and a little nervous about baby #2 as I had birth complications with DS. Looking forward to our new addition though.
Hello all you Mama's! I am expecting baby #3 in Nov. I had my first son when I was 16 ( not planned) he is now 15 and I have a 13 month old son (very planned) and now a November baby:) (also very planned) we are so excited! My husband and I have been together 11 years. I am an RN and work at a hospital in rural Missouri. Being a mom is the most amazing gift in the world and I couldn't feel more blessed! Very excited to be Joining you all in Nov
Hello! it's very early but I got three very faint positives this week and feeling all of the symptoms so I am going with it! I am a 25 year old STM, I have a 3yo little boy :-) This was an unexpected pregnancy but I am very excited! I am ready to get healthy and welcome the fourth member of my little family. With a very demanding full time job this is going to be a challenge but I say bring it on!
I'm feeling like quite a late-comer to the group, but I'm cautiously excited to be here. *TW* This is our first baby and we were excited to see a "yes +" on our first hpt after the loss of our first pregnancy in January. I was convinced was just out of whack with AF coming early - that's the only way I could make it only peeing on one stick. I am feeling anxious, but I'm growing more excited each day.
DH and I were married a year and a half ago and so far, have told his parents and sister. On his side, this will be the first baby: first grandchild for his parents and first great-grandchild for both grandparents. No pressure, right? On my side, babies are practically old news - this LO will be joining my four nieces and one nephew. That said, I'm my daddy's only (my siblings are half-sibs), so a baby coming 5 years after a scary cancer diagnosis for him will be exciting in its very own way. I'm waiting until next weekend to tell my parents on his 65th birthday.
We have an EDD of November 19th and our first ultrasound is on Wednesday at 6w4d. I have my FX that we'll see the flutter of a heartbeat and hope that my own heart can find a way to be still when we do. DH is so certain that everything will go smoothly this time around and his confidence (at least today) is relieving and reassuring. I'm so looking forward to getting to know you all and am thrilled to have found this community to join during such a wonderful, anxiety-ridden, joyful and terrifying journey!
@mariposa_767s I'm with you! My coworkers are looking at me funny because I am so bloated I look very obviously pregnant already! This did not happen to me the first time around that's for sure!
Hi everyone first time mama here, due somewhere around November 14th (from LMP and ovulation day). My SO has a 5yo son that lives with us every other week, and we've been trying for our first since last August. Sadly, I have experienced 2 losses since then, one MMC at 10w in November (needed a D&C), and a very early natural MC at 5w in February. I'm currently 6w4d and my anxiety is through the roof, especially since I had a bit of spotting this morning after sex. Still trying to stay positive, or more accurately, trying to hold on to what's left of my sanity until my first ultrasound, which will be on April 7th. Good luck and a happy healthy 9 months to all of you ladies!
Hi ladies! I am 28 years old and a kindergarten teacher. I love my job but can't wait to be a Mom! This is my very first pregnancy and I am so excited! I think my husband and I almost died of shock when we got a positive test a couple weeks ago but we are beyond thrilled. I haven't had my first ultrasound yet but we are thinking the EDD is around November 15th (We will find out for sure on April 4th) I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone!
Hello FTM here, I am 28 years old and excited to be here. I believe my EDD is Nov 18 so 6 weeks today!! DH and I have told both our parents and my sister (she has a daughter so I find it helpful to talk to her). We are waiting til after my first appointment(April 12) to tell some other close family and friends. I am so happy to share this journey with all of you.
Hi! After trying for almost 3 years with no success and meeting with fertility doctors, I was notified that I would be laid off at the end of Mar. We put our TTC plans on hold until I had a new job. Well needless to say, we were very surprised to find out I was pregnant at the beginning of March. While still in shock we are very excited. We have an EDD of 11/13/17 and an ultrasound planned for 4/21. I have told my mom and one friend. DH has told his friends at work. We are waiting until the ultrasound to tell others. I look forward to sharing this journey with all of you!
New to the bump and SO excited to get to join this group as a FTM! I'm a due date fence sitter....based on my LMP my due date is around November 29th. I personally think it's going to get pushed back to December but we're going with it for now! I'm 31 & DH is 34.
Just got my BPF yesterday (3/24), and can't believe it! We'd been trying for around 10 months, and I was *days* away from scheduling an HSG (was just waiting for AF to start). I could not have been more shocked, considering DH has been out of town for work. He managed to make a quick trip home during my fertile window and we only BD'ed once....I thought there was no way we'd conceive this month. That being said I did two things different this month : Started taking Maca, and I had a cold during my fertile window so I was taking Mucinex too.
Hi all! I am a FTM due on Nov 18th (according to LMP). I am excited to be part of the Nov club!
*TW
I had a loss in January at 11 weeks. Right now I am very nervous and cautious, and will likely stick mostly to the PGAL thread until I pass the 11week mark. This baby is due in Nov, right around the time we got our first BFP this year. Trying very hard to stay positive!!
Full disclosure, my due date is 12/1, but I was pretty
active on TTGP and there are some awesome women on this board who I’d love to
stay connected with during this time. I hope you all don’t mind me joining you
over here. I might be more of a nights/weekends Bumper (Bumpie?) because I’m
still new at my job so I’m still working hard to get up to speed. We also have
an open work environment, so if I open The Bump on my work computer about 15
people can see my screen.
So I’m 4 weeks, 1 day with our first. I had a 11 month TTGP
journey and got pregnant on my first cycle of Clomid. My DH and I are both in a
little bit of shock still. I am nervous, I had certain expectations for the
TTGP process that were so far from the reality of what happened that I feel
like I don’t know what to expect from here on. I’m also relieved and cautiously
excited.
@swimsister Welcome to the club!!! So happy to have you here.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
Hi I'm Emily from Prattville, Al. I am 6 weeks pregnant today. We found out a week ago that i am pregnant and we are over the moon about it! First appt will be April 5th!! Very nervous bc this is my second pregnancy and i lost my first due to low progesterone. The same thing is happening but they caught it earlier this time and i am praying that this one sticks!
My nausea started at 3.5 weeks!! Is this a indicator of twins?? I am already showing at 6 weeks and have had to go up from a lrg to xl scrub pants!! Ekk
I'm 25. My EDD IS November 6th. My husband and I have two foster sons that will be with us until June. This is our first pregnancy and it's very exciting!
I am 34 and my husband is 36. This is our first child so we are both very nervous. My EDD is November 13th 2017 and I will be 7 weeks tomorrow. We already had our first u/s at 6 weeks 2 days. I was in the hospital for possible gallstones and they did a u/s for precaution. Babys heartbeat was 163. Ive had one miscarriage back in 2006 at about 5 weeks, but other than that Ive never been pregnant before. Since we are older more than likely this will be our one and only! I am looking forward to hearing about everyones journey and meeting new friends. Congratulations to all!
Hello! First time mom. Found out on saint Patrick's day we were pregnant. Found out early. One day before my missed period. Our due date is thanksgiving day.
Hi Ladies! My name is Kristine and I live in the Atlanta, Georgia area. I am due with my 2nd baby November 28(based on LMP). Our son was born November 13, 2014 and he has been an absolute joy! I can't wait to give him a little brother or sister. ❤ I look forward to getting to know you all!
Hi, I am hoping over here from the IF board. Tomorrow is my third beta, and I am nervous! Tomorrow I will be 5 weeks. I had a chemical the last time, so this is all nerve-wracking!

Hi yall! EDD is November 24th. Absolutely thrilled to have found this board. This is my first pregnancy and I'm glad to have a group of ladies to chat with. I'm a bit over 5 weeks right now. I couldn't believe when I got the positive pregnancy test. I actually bought another one the next day to retest and still was in shock. It's settled in now and I'm super excited. First dr. appt isn't until 3 more weeks which is a little challenging because I just feel anxious and what to make sure my little one is doing okay in there. We live very far from our family so we we haven't shared the news with anyone yet because we were hoping to share the news in person.
Symptoms now are tiredness, a little nausea, thirst, and trouble sleeping past 4am.
Hi, I just found out Friday that I was pregnant! I'm 30 y/o and live in Florida. I currently have a 3 1/2 year old son and I'm excited but also nervous because I just started a new job 2 months ago and I'm not sure if I'll be able to keep my job. My EDD guestimation is 11/28.
Hi! I'm Neenie and I'm a FTM, although we had a chemical pregnancy last year. My EDD is 11/25, so we've been jokingly calling this the Thanksgiving Baby.
DH and I are both 31 and have been together for nine years, and married for just under seven. We live just outside of Cincinnati and both work in IT (DH for a university and I work for a cultural nonprofit).
Right now I'm pretty exhausted and achy most of the time, but my older mom friend at work assures me that the exhaustion should go away next trimester, so I'm hopeful?
Hello! I'm Jessie and I am a FTM. My husband and I are over the moon and still in shock. Our EDD is 11/19 as of now! We have our first ultrasound this Wednesday 3/29 and we are anxiously waiting. We have been TTC for almost two years. We got pregnant on our first round of provera+metfotmin+clomid. Right now I'm just super tired and have a loss of appetite...and let's not forget the amount of times I have to pee a day! I can't even complain about the symptoms, it just makes me sure that I am growing a little baby in my belly. Luckily, I have only had one episode of morning (well night) sickness. I have had two HCG tests! One on 3/21 and it was 1,084 and the progesterone level was 23. My test three days later was on 3/24 and it was 3,921. So we are hoping those are good numbers. All of these things are super new and confusing to me! Good luck to everyone & im excited to get to know everyone!
