Hi...got the call! I was soooo scared! Great news! Beta is 428! My progesterone 101.75 (high!), and estradiol 650!

@famiylgrl86 -lol I can totally see myself needing to step away from the computer, but then I just use my phone...ugh!

@Prudence9 -Mostly I am tired. Today my boobs don't hurt, so naturally, I would worry lol. My lower back is a little achey. Overall, I am okay...trying to be positive and not worry, but that's not a strength of mine!! Can symptoms come and go? Thanks for checking in. How are you feeling?

@LoveDontCostAThing Yes, I think symptoms can come and go. I didn't really have symptoms, other than being tired, for the first 2 weeks after transfer.

Im good. No pain. Just a little spotting...

@LoveDontCostAThing Yes great beta, more then doubled!! You can't ask for more then that woo hoo!!!!!! Symptoms will come and go for sure so try not to stress. Just continue taking care of u and taking it easy. No crazy lifting or stuff like that.

@Prudence9 - Its good that ur just spotting hopefully it'll stop soon. I hated every second of it as i"m not a pad girl ever...or since I was a teen

So I couldn't wait for it to end. Are you having any cramping. Forgot to mention that midol actually helped more then other meds I was taking.

AFM: Yesterday came and went, monitoring was ok but the large follie is getting too big that I might loose it.

Right 10, 11, 15 and 18.5
Left 12.5, 16.5, 17.5 and 22.5 (one disappeared in a day)
I thought they would want to trigger me last night but they are first triggering me tonight in hopes that I will have more mature ones come sunday. SO I trigger tonight and pray that I get some mature follies on sunday and then fertilization report on monday my birthday

so my emotions are really all over the place. It has to be great news since it'll be my birthday right

Hoping they made the right decision to wait the extra day!

@hopeful_mom -it has to be great news for your birthday!! sorry I didn't message you back yet...my brain has been all over the place, and I am just so tired. Which follicle disappeared? They can disappear when they are that big? What did the dr. say the cause is? You are getting towards the end of stims...wahoooo!!!!

@Prudence9 -I'm glad your pain has subsided. How are you feeling emotionally?

@LoveDontCostAThing Funny you ask about which follie vanished as I was trying to figure that out as well. I'm really hoping that the tech just missed it, because usually in a day it should still be there or get a smidge smaller. 10 was the smallest one on the left so I feel like she shouldve been able to measure it. My RE feels hopeful so I'm trying to believe her. Some girls have mentioned that stemming too long could cause you to lose more so OF COURSE thats going to freak me out as well! Technically I have one shot left tonight but my bump is so big that it doesn't hurt all the much

I have to say this cycle my insides hurt the most. Your one ovary really did A LOT of work! Did you become uncomfortable? I dont know I can't imagine the few follicles i have on each side are actually making a difference...maybe its just gas

As for the beta I wouldn't worry too much, you're progressing great!! You're always going to worry, you never stop from the second you get your BFP. AND its unfortunate for ppl like us we dont get that grace period of being shocked that we're preggers and first realize it at 12wks. We know from the moment of fertilization and stress right from then. How ppl never know they're pregnant is beyond me. The day i turned 6wks i was as sick as could be everyday.

@hopeful_mom -yes, our pregnancies are definitely "longer" since we find out right away. Finding out at 12 weeks would be awesome to bypass some anxiety! I've googled a lot about betas of course lol. I still worry though! What is the next one drops or doesn't rise a lot?

Maybe your follie is hiding. How long have you been stimming? Not more than usual, right? I forget what you said you're going to do. Do you plan to transfer right away? I know you were debating about testing the embryos. Or banking? So many option! How is OH handling everything?

As for ur beta no reason it shouldn't double! It will!!
Im still torn about what to do, I pray I make some embabies that I will have something to test. It's pretty nerve wracking! I really think it all depends on how this cycle goes to see what I'm really doing. Looking to to PGS and bank, however in talking to my RE she didn't think we were banking so I find that confusing! And the notes on my file didn't say icsi, which I kno we're doing half and half as long as I have enough eggs. So talk about not feeling settled!! OH let's discuss that his child is sick again needing to deal with that, it never fails!! I know I have the frozen so I'm trying to not think about it! OHHHH ull enjoy this. I tell OH ok we're on for Sunday and he says, "o so r they taking them out or putting them in." Nice right? I guess it's a step up from thinking they take them out and put them back on the same day. You can tell u slept through the class right! I'm lucky he made it, he's a smart guy he just has no interest!

@LoveDontCostAThing staying away from google is tough. But try to keep busy this weekends and not google much (yeah, I know, easier said than done...) I know I was googling like crazy...

Im doing really good. I actually had no pains other than some pains the day of. But I took pain meds so didn't really feel much. I do have spotting and will probably have it for another week or so.

@LoveDontCostAThing - you asked how I'm doing emotionally. I'm ok. Very sad. And lost some hope. This was a PGS tested embryo and I couldn't keep it. No guarantee the next transfer will work and if it does that I'll be able to keep the pregnancy... I'm trying to stay positive. And hope that I will have a baby in the beginning of 2018.

@prudence9 I understand how scared and upset u r, can't say it will go away. I should be 6 months with twins and instead of it getting easier its actually getting harder. I'm really curious to see if it was a mosiac normal embryo you had, that would explain the MC if it was. I do feel the same thoughts as you, I wonder if its my old bodys fault that I MC. Remember many younger woman have pgs embryos that don't even implant. Hoping our miracles will come in 2018. Are you looking to have more then one?

@hopeful_mom -You made it to trigger and almost to ER! That's awesome...even though OH isn't sure if you're taking them out or putting them in lol...men. That's why you have the women on here...we know every step of the way! I am thinking positively for you and can't wait to hear your egg number and fertilization report. Are you definitely doing PGS and banking the embryos?

@rPrudence9 -No doubt you are a strong woman. It makes sense to lose some hope, but I think that you will regain it. Stick with the process until you get the result you want! That is my theory. If we can get through this, we can get through anything. And yes, staying away from google is easier said than done. I swear I have thought of every question to ask google...my husband and I think we should name our child, "Google."

@Hopeful_mom yeah, I can't wait to get the pathology report. Hopefully on Monday/Tuesday. I was very lucky to have the embryo implant on the first FET.... no guarantee it will happen on the 2nd try. But there's nothing I can do about it and just hope. Ideally I would have 2 kids. But I'm not getting any younger. My due day was suppose to be few days before my 42nd b-day. And now if I'm lucky it will be before I'm 42 and a half. Being a single mom, I'm not even sure how I'd manage. I do know that if I do get pregnant and want to have another one, I will have to not wait too long... but it is a lot of ifs at this point...

Good luck at the retrieval tomorrow, hope they get them all

@LoveDontCostAThing oh I know exactly what you mean, all I was doing was googling. I have a really long commute (about 2 hours each way) so all I was doing during my commute was googling... (not while driving... I work in silicon valley so we have work buses take us from SF to work every day...)

As of this moment assuming everything goes well I will do PGS and bank. However my RE acted as if I was getting enough embryos to just do an FET right away which kind of confused me. Lord knows she has so many patients so maybe she got confused. OH keeps reminding me we will only transfer one which makes me angry! So I"m sure its crazy that I will then wish for identical twins

I love that he's aggravating me even on the dar before ER...I swear days I do feel like I'll be a single mom in the end.

@rPrudence9 I have to say that I'm in the same boat, was suppose to have my twins and be 41...turning 40 sucked ass and so thrilling 41 will now be the same. I'm just having a crap day and truly am hating this process. I was glad I didn't have to think about the next round and how much time between them etc etc. And here I am doing the exact same thing. And I will be honest the 4 weeks that I was sick morning, noon and night I wondered how woman really did this more then once. I just feel like everyone skipped over how sick and horrible you could feel. Obviously in our situation I got it and didn't care. If this is what it takes then I can do it. As for you my dear it worked once theres no reason it shouldn't stick again...I have to keep telling myself the same thing. I'm more concerned as I didn't a fresh transfer and not an FET.

AFM: Am I the only one that gets nervous thinking the trigger is done wrong and you want make it to ER. Glad the blood work is a go so thats good. I'm just nervous what tomorrow will bring, disappearing or empty follies makes me lose sleep. I know many have brought this up but I dont remember, has anyone else gained weight during stemming. I've been on drugs pretty much over a year and have gained about a good 20lbs....but this week I've gained 5lbs in the last week WTH!!

@hopeful_mom I think in a way, there is an advantage to FET, it lets your body recover from all the hormones you injected and let your ovaries get back to normal.... good luck tomorrow!!!

@rPrudence9 I guess that does make sense, each clinic is different. I know my RE likes fresh but has had many successful FET as well. I need to get some sleep but i just have this feeling i will be up all night trying to fall asleep. I pray I will just have something to transfer!

Hi ladies!! Gotta admit this one was a tough one!! I needed rest immediately!! I was asking OH to post for me and he said I'm delirious now!

ER was early this morning I was really in more pain this time, so dizzy and quizzy.

Ok good news is we got 10 out woohoo, one already looks wonky so he's considering that I got 9. I will say this time really was way more uncomfortable. The Anesthesiologist was super nice and gave me some pain meds. Hoping I got some winners in there!!! I wish this was the first cycle. They let OH sit with me after so that was nice! Perks to being last on a Sunday.

You'll all appreciate this, my RE was laughing that I was barely a wake and the first thing I asked was did we get any, how many EGGS

I gotta one track mind for sure!! Not sure how many were actually mature as he didn't say. Maybe that comes tomorrow with the fertilization report?

When I tried posting earlier i couldn't even focus and it was making me sick. Assuming the joys of getting a few more eggs, hopefully it's worth it

@hopeful_mom -10!!! That's fabulous!! I felt bad after my ER and even almost fainted...I needed rest too. Also, my first question was how many eggs and how many mature too!! They were able to tell me the mature, but I don't think all places do. Go get some more rest, and can't wait to hear tomorrow's fertilization report!!

@Hopeful_mom and @Prudence9 -thank you!!! I got my third beta. It's 2,059! Progesterone 98.29 and Estradiol is 816! Tomorrow I go in for an ultrasound to see how many implanted and the sac placement. Ahhhh this is so surreal. Can I ask a REALLY dumb question...is it still a vaginal ultrasound?? lol it's fine if you laugh, but I have no idea and don't wanna look like an idiot! Thanks

@hopeful_mom -did you get your fertilization report yet? How are you feeling? Thinking of you today!

HI ladies! Finally my report is in and so far I've got 7 out of the 10 going strong woohoo!! Of course I would've liked all 9 as I knew one was already iffy. You know I wanted more info. but I don't think the girl was qualified to know anymore. I'm hoping the lab might have more. I do know that 4 were with icsi and 3 with regular fert. I'm actually happy some made it through the "regular" way, his boys only had one direction to go in. My big joke is how his boys are bad with directions on their own HA!!!

@prudence9 how r u feeling?

I know I should be thrilled with 7 and I am, but I wouldve liked all 9 so I had more of a chance to have a good amount to test

I'll be a basket case till further notice

I asked the same thing about icsi. I think they feel if you have a decent amount of eggs AND a good sample they prefer to do 1/2 and 1/2. Apparently OH had a better sample this time and wanted to do both. The RE said we both did great on sunday

I'll see if I can hold off a day but will prob call tomorrow to see what they have to share.

When is your report expected to come in?

The results are in. The embryo was normal. I guess we will have to run tests and figure out what's wrong with me.

@Prudence9 thank u - will definitely need a makeup bday dinner, but my family tried to make it special for me! My tummy is still a bit out of sorts and I swear I got bopped in the mouth during the procedure as my lip is swollen. It so strange and OH noticed it right when I came out.
I know its so hard getting the results hearing all is normal and so you then think its you. I really hope you can find the answers but it may not be that simple. I only say it from experience and find it difficult to move on not knowing. The only think I want to do is fix it and no one has that answer. What blood type are you? I know ppl with O negative need to get some type of shot. What other tests are they going to run?

My blood type is O+. I will email the nurse tomorrow and ask what the next steps are. I am not sure what tests the dr is going to do. But I think she will check thyroids, hormones. Etc... I kinda have a feeling it's a thyroid issue.

@Prudence9 -wow, now I am wondering what went wrong! Will you meet or talk to the dr. soon to explore options? I am sorry you are going through this. That just added to the puzzle! Hopefully they can figure it out ASAP. I would probably be doing tons of research if I were you. I am a google monster, though, lol so maybe don't follow in my footsteps. Could is be an immune issue? Did you have immune testing?

@hopeful_mom -hope you had a nice birthday! They totally must have hit your lip...they should have told you what happened because that's definitely kind of scary lol. These are people you want to trust!

My appointment is in two hours, so I will update you guys after! At least now I know it's a vaginal ultrasound LOL. ahhhh!

@LoveDontCostAThing over a year ago I think they tested TSH but it came back normal. Maybe they should also test T3, T4. Not sure about immune testing...
