@starphish18 I know, it's definitely a little spendier. Everything is 25% off through Monday which helps some! I'm also gonna use my registry completion discount for a few items I still want
I've bought the onesie, but haven't fully committed to the pants. I think that's what I'll use though. Baby still hasn't given us a good clear shot of the goods....doctor is fairly certain it's a girl, but has cautioned us to not go crazy buying pink. So I've been buying lots of gender neutral options for clothing.
@KMD1106 that's what I loved most was that adorable bow tie
@SWE2 thank you! I'll check it out. When I saw that adorable romper I immediately thought how cute it'd be to have DD and her little sis in matching ones
@fbmandy55 - You don't sound behind at all. You will probably receive entirely way too many clothes at you shower because people love to give them. And as long as you have a couple of blankets and a place for baby to sleep in, I would just wait until after your shower to buy anything else.
Agreed. I've bought a bunch of clothes for the baby, but not much else. No diapers or gear, just the big nursery items like the crib, dresser, and glider. My shower isn't for another month and a half, so I'm anxiously awaiting that time to figure out what else I'll need to buy.
That was our plan too. My shower is 3/4. I'll be 32 weeks. That gives us probably a month to get everything else we need.
I need to buy new going home outfits. I just found DD's last night and it was a newborn outfit and huge on her! My mom told me to buy this baby 0-3, but that is going to be way too big.
@swe2 posted she bought these personalized swaddle from Zulily on Page 1, but I saw them on GroopDealz today! They have cactus, hearts, clouds, trees, and a few other options I think! My Arizona heart is a sucker for the cactus one... if I can just decide on a name!
I know I'll be cursing no snaps on the pants, but this outfit was too cute and perfect for our boy's woodland nursery. Just for some photo ops and I'll be happy!! Will pair with a solid white or heather grey onesie. I love seeing all of these little outfits!!
This came today and I'm planning on using it as part of our going home outfit! It is our first personalized item and FFFC I am on a roll buying all the personalized things!! But of course I love monogrammed items at baseline so it's going to be a little exacerbated by adding LO in the picture.
I bought these two outfits. Someone mentioned having the buttons/zippers on the side were better for the umbilical cord. Where I live you never know if it's going to be cold and snowy or hot. The fabric is light enough to go both ways.
I finally got around to ordering this little outfit...I did a monogram sleeper for my son (hilariously pictured earlier in this thread) and loved it because the monogram got used in the quilt I had made of his baby clothes, which I plan to do for this little lady, too! So...here's the sleeper (the weird white bow is not a part of it) and the hat (I'm pretty sure it will still be hat weather when she makes her planned arrival mid April).
Eek! Little lady's take me home outfit arrived today! I had never heard of this line (Sweet Bamboo), but the fabric on this little sleeper is SUPER soft.
Okay, so every time I try to search it doesn't work...I'm sure my answer is on here somewhere so I'm sorry for the repeat! When you all ordered your outfit online, did you get NB or 0-3 if they offered it? Just curious! I know they may not fit in the NB so I wasn't sure which to order...

I had both but after seeing how big she already was I returned the NB and am using the 0-3 months. I changed my mind on outfits after seeeing this cute dress at Target. Im also excited bc I wasn't gifted this Michigan swaddle in coral I will be using.
Do you really need a hat to take baby home in? I have some at home but they don't go with the outfit I have picked out. Should I go buy one or not worry about it? I have socks and a swaddle blanket to put over her.
@BabyMC517 I took two different outfit to the hospital last time in each size. DS was 8lb 2oz and still had room in the newborn outfit. I plan on taking a couple options again, but assume I will use newborn.
@SWE2 So envious of the swaddle!!! I follow the Bitten Mitten on facebook and have had goo goo eyes at it this whole pregnancy.
@SWE2 No to the hat. 1. I'm pretty sure the hospital will give you one 2. In my infant CPR they said hats really aren't needed as baby does learn to regulate their temp and it could potentially have them overheat. 3. I don't like them in car seats in case they slip over baby's eyes. Obviously a parental discretion thing. I think hats are adorable and we have a couple, but it's so hot here I doubt they'll get use.
