@vintagevix2016 he looks like he's riding a roller coaster! I like that insert you have. I didn't know those existed for grocery carts but now I want one.
You would have thought he was by hearing how excited he wa haha. Our's is by Summer Infant but I know Boppy has one and so do orher brands. The Summer Infant one comes with an insert for extra support if the baby isn't quite stable while sitting. There are loops to attach toys to keep him occupied and a clear pocket that I think is for my phone? I noticed most of these can be used on high chairs at restaurants too. Anyway, I love it and so does Damien!
Today was the first time Damien rode in the buggy at the grocery store. He usually stayed in his carseat but I feel he is big enough now to not use it. He had a blast!
I have this cover and love it- I also use it on the swings at the park with the cushion because I think it makes it a little more secure.

Is there something that can keep these tiles stuck to the floor to discourage him from ripping them up?
We have similar tiles on the floor and the same baby gate playpen. Our area of tiles is larger then the playpen so he can't access the corners. Our tiles also came with edge pieces so we don't have the grooves. Can you extend the tiles and close the playpen?

You could get some of those Command Hooks sticky strips. Leave the tab just sticking out of the end and attach it to the floor. I don't know if it will adhere to the tiles or not, but man do I love my Command Hooks

I'd look for the rolls of special double stick tape that they make to secure carpet to the floor. I just taped our carpet down so the baby can't pull it up, and it works well.
Apparently Ethan's new favorite teether are the rails on his crib!?! I went to get him from his nap the other day and he literally had the white paint chips in his mouth from chewing on the rail!?! . I bought some of that rubber looking stuff you stick to the rails but the instructions say to not have the baby in the crib for 10 hours after sticking it on...ummm...when is he not going to be in the crib for 10 hours??? Lol.

Hmm put it in first thing in the am then have him nap in your lap or the pack n play that day. By bedtime, it should be all set
Tomorrow my son's school is having their annual fundraiser auction. It's quite a formal event, and I'm feeling a tad self conscious. I hardly ever get this dressed up, and I don't even know what jewelry to wear. It's the first time we are attending, so I don't want to look too casual or too dressy.
Im sure I'm overthinking it, but I'm kind of looked at by the other parents as the unusual one, due to having 3 kids and staying home with them, and I would really love to feel like I fit in for a change. I'm kind of looking forward to a nice night out though.

If you have a couple of options we can always help you decide!

Sure, I'll take any opinions. This is the dress I'm wearing, and two shoe options. Not sure which one works best. Also, do I need a necklace with this neckline? Long or short? Stud or dangle earrings?
I think that the bottom shoe works best with that dress. I would either do a short necklace with stud earrings, large dangle earrings or a statement necklace. I think a bright statement necklace or earrings would be the most trendy, and an understated necklace and earrings would be more timeless.
If you have a couple of options out pictures up and we'll see what could work!
Just found this ugly thing in the back of my hubby's vehicle. If I ever harm him or divorce him it will be over the ugly ass shit he fills our house with from Craigslist. Ok rant over!
I'm a huge Gilmore fan, and would love more. At the same time, the ending was so in keeping with the show that I'm worried how it would hold up over time if it's a full season. Either way I'll be following this story
Random question I made a carrot cake for my sister's birthday and used a new recipe and it looks really dense. I haven't frosted it yet, should I make a new one? It's her 30 and I haven't gotten to celebrate her birthday with her in a long time. I just want her cake to be perfect, also I don't know what drove me to try a new recipe without making a tester. Any opinions?

Can you cut a little bit off the bottom to try? It might taste ok, but if not you could make another. Carrot cake recipes are tricky, it took me a while to find the one I like

What's crazy is I have one I love that always turns out but I get this weird it to try something new and always do it at the wrong time.
I bought a new carseat for Damien. He doesn't quite need it yet but he will soon. His legs are starting to get scrunched up, just growing too fast! Thank god I had a gift card, carseats are so expensive!!

Yes they're super expensive! This is why we decided to just buy two of the "all in one" convertible car seats instead of getting an infant carrier and then having to get another car seat and eventually a booster. They were pricey but they're awesome seats and have the best recline!

That's what we bought! It seems like a great long-term investment. We went with Graco since we've already been using their travel system and like it.

We lucked out and still have one of the convertible ones from our middle child. I just washed everything the other day and need to install it. We bought an infant car seat because my husband wanted to but she's just about out grown it. My boys only lasted till 6 months but Charlotte is our petite little girl. She had her 9 month check up yesterday and she's 16.5 lbs and 27.5 inches.
We have a concert program designed for babies and toddlers here and we are finally going to one next week. I'm so excited! Apparently this particular show is a PJs concert so everyone is suppose to come in their PJs. My grinch of a husband huffed at the idea, "I will NOT be wearing my pajamas, that's just stupid. I Told him I thought it was a cute/fun idea and plan to participate. He just rolled his eyes. I mean come on, it's a kid-oriented event, have a little fun with it!

That sounds fun! Tell him to put his big boy PJs on and deal. Lol
