@heatherdubrow Good luck today! I can't wait to hear how it went!

@heatherdubrow I know I said this in WTO but I am STILL SO EXCITED FOR YOU!
Also sorry I disappeared after getting ready for Wine Down Wednesday. I had a glass of wine and my H came home and I attacked him (in a sexy way, of course, although it probably looked more like this).
@heatherdubrow Fingers crossed! Do you have a beta scheduled?
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
Just got back from the transfer! It was really cool we got to watch the embryo go into my uterus on ultrasound. (Actually it was an air bubble placed next to it since the embryo is microscopic). Everything went well! beta is scheduled for Sunday march 5th. We shall see if I make it that long without poas! Thank you everyone for your well wishes and positive vibes!
@Heatherdubrow That's my birthday and I would love to celebrate with someone else's BFP! (AF or a BFP is due for me that day...eek!) One of my friends is transferring that day. Good luck!!

So, I don't know what the f*ck I did to the universe, but here's my day:
CD1, now on cycle 10 and month rollover to 9, and our home warranty company telling us they will only give us a credit of $350 to "repair" our 30 year old furnace that's leaking carbon monoxide. Oh, and that credit is only good if you go through one company, whose estimate by the way was $4k higher than the first estimate we received. WTAF!
I will take any good karma you can spare. Thanks!

I have to ask, is it wrong to feed DH almonds after reading an article that they may improve sperm quality? Turns out he likes them...and I just keep handing him a few every now and then.
I don't know/think there is a concern with current quality, but I had some in the fridge and figured it couldn't hurt
@BertieMeetsGertie Boo! That's so weird to me. How is your home warranty structured? Ours has a $1k deductible and essentially so long as we go through them, they send someone they approve of and we only pay our deductible at most no matter the parts or labor.

@BertieMeetsGertie Oh, that really sucks for both things. Sorry about the home warranty stuff. I swear these businesses (and insurance companies) are set up to pay out as little as possible, despite being sure to always collect premiums. Hopefully it all gets sorted out in your favor!

We don't have a deductible but pay $75 for service calls. They say they cover up to $3k for repairing or replacing A/C units or furnaces. This is the first time we've had to contact them. Which company do you have? We have American Home Shield.

@BertieMeetsGertie Interesting! We have an HSA Home Warranty. The sellers offered it as an incentive for us when we bought the house a year and a half ago. At the one year mark, we decided to reup because our house is from 1980 and the previous owners were big DIY people. It looks like you might only be able to get one through your REA at the time of sale? We pay $500 a year for it and then up to $1k per visit (we haven't had a service call over $100). It's awesome because even the appliances not covered by the warranty are still subject to the deductible. Maybe shop around next time your warranty is asking you to reup?
Either way, it sounds like paying out of pocket for the furnace repair is the way to go. Why pay $4k more for only a $360 credit, right? It just doesn't math. Hopefully you get it fixed soon either way!
ETA: I should clarify, when an appliance isn't covered, the visit is still subject to the deductible even if we have to pay above and beyond for parts.

@cdnrunning Easter candy, any kind, is my absolute weakness. I've been trying to keep blinders on when I go to the drug store because it's full force Easter now.
I'm trying to start eating healthier again- I've really been slacking on that and physical fitness the past few months. I have no more excuses, and DH coming home is getting closer and closer. I'm doing a total health/fitness overhaul starting from 150 days until he gets home. I want him to pretty much turn into something out of 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit?' at the airport.

@cdnrunning@jsnakehole I'm obsessed with very specific Easter candy. I seriously hoard 2lb bags and finish it in a matter of days. But it's such an UO, I don't even think FFFC could save me, so I'll just hide it here in a spoiler box in the hopes I'll get away with it....
