@LoveInDC our sellers included this warranty as well and we renewed it knowing that the furnace was going to go soon. Knowing what we know now, there's no way I would continue to pay for this crappy warranty, nor would I recommend it to anyone. No, we likely will not be going with their company because it doesn't make any fiscal (or logical) sense.

Also, it's going to be 74 in NJ today and 54 in Vegas where DH is at a bachelor party. I'm laughing a little at that.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
@nytino24 I'm so glad it's warm out here, too. I need some sunshine. And luckily it's also Friday.
I'm having a "down" TTC day. It's CD1 so maybe there's some extra emotions floating around (we are benched so it's not like I'm disappointed that CD1 is here) but I just really want to be pregnant. I don't want to wait anymore, I don't want to wait to get to my next appointment just to have to wait to start treatment, just to wait to see how it goes, etc etc. Like someone just knock me out and don't wake me up until I'm KTFU. I know you ladies feel me.
@hartmich I know how you feel. I'm sorry you are having such an emotional day. I've been facing some setbacks and having a lot of those myself this week...it's helped me when benched/out of the game to focus on either non -TTC related goals or when that feels impossible, to focus on changes I can be making to give us our best shot when our time does come around again. Be kind to yourself today!
@cdnrunning OMG the Cadbury mini eggs are my biggest weakness. The chocolate is unreal, and I don't even like chocolate that much! I forgot it's Easter season and the eggs are here! BTW, did you see Cadbury made the eggs into Christmas balls for Christmas? Same chocolate, slightly smaller shape. I'm doing a "no refined sugar during the week" healthy eating plan right now but oh oh oh they're my achilles heel....I have to talk myself out of buying them!

@ktcakes87 I haven't seen one lately... maybe next week we can start a fresh one? I mean, you can start one now but I think the weekends are always a little slower...
@wabash15 Thanks It sucks that we're both still here but we have each other, right?
@cdnrunning my DH got me hooked on the mini eggs. So good. Trying so hard to be "good" and not eat too much candy, but he buys multiple bags and MIL always gets him a bag or 2 for Easter

@hartmich I can definitely relate to not wanting to wait anymore. Being benched sucks, but as you said, we've all got each other. Let me know if you need to vent/rant it out!
I've officially become one of those people- I bought a harness and leash for my cat so he can come in the yard with me and the dog. I took him out for five minutes. He was not thrilled, but I think he'll get used to it.

@jsnakehole I just ordered a carrier that you wear on your chest (or back) to carry my Maltese around in. I'm that dog mom. Good weather is coming and our Sheltie will be off of her mandated exercise restriction but our Maltese doesn't go on walks. She loves parks and such but the sidewalks and traffic scare her too much and she just freezes.
@slaven I took my dog to the park today- he ran around for about five minutes and then laid under a tree with a ball in his mouth. He's such a good walker, but such a derp off the leash.
Me: 28 DH: 29 Married: 6/2016 TTC #1: 12/2016 Benched due to deployment- Off the bench 8/8/17!
@slaven, I really want to get my pup her own wagon so we can go for walks around the neighborhood. She is old and has a degenerative disease that makes her drag her hind legs a little, so long walks are out of the question. I wish I could wear her, but she'd pee on me (she's incontinent as a result of her disease too). But I think she'd love to get out.

@icecubeinthedesert Depending on the size of your dog, you can also get a dog stroller. They range in price depending on quality (like an umbrella stroller vs. full size for kids). I know someone that used on for a Cocker Spaniel and some hold up to 50 lbs so it's not just for little dogs.
eta: You could also wear her and just use a doggy diaper for the walks but if she'd be small enough to wear, I'd say the stroller is the way to go.
@slaven she's a pug, so she's small but surprisingly hefty for her size (about 23 lbs). So she's on the heavier side for a carrier. We did get this leash with two loops that her back legs go into and you can support her back end, but there's nothing keeping her in there, and once she's that mobile she's off to the races! She loves it, but it's a lot of work and once we take it off she has a really hard time walking for a little bit. Plus she's an alpha dog who has the tendency to take after other animals, so another do encounter could be a problem. And she's a diva, so once we put a diaper on her, she's not into doing anything. Just sits in one place until we take it off.

@icecubeinthedesert I understand Diva Dogs. I tried a fleece body suit for my little one when it was like 20 degrees out and she just stood there looking all mad like she prefers to freeze her ass off.
@cdnrunning I just bought two packs of Peeps Oreos (they were 2/$5, I had to!). I'm locking them in my pantry until Monday and then bringing them to share with my coworkers.
