@BostonBaby1@HollyGolightly09 Thanks, ladies! I finally called them and left messages on both of their lines. Apparently my midwife had three births this morning, so they were really busy. But my numbers came back at 82,000, vs 40,000 last Wednesday, so that's good. I guess the expect numbers to begin to plateau between 80,000 and 100,000, so they think I'm fine. Now to actually see something at my ultrasound on Monday!
Thanks guys! I will definitely update you when I can, unfortunately the results can take between 2-4 weeks!! And the CDC does not recommend testing asymptomatic males, so it will be a fight to get them to test my DH but I'm going to ask anyways.
@lap018 ugh! That's so frustrating!!! Would it just be common sense to test the actual person that may have come into contact with Zika versus someone who has been in contact with someone who may have come in contact with Zika? I mean, I'm no rocket scientist, but it just seems like time, money and effort wise it could save a lot of people a lot of unnecessary work and stress. Just saying.
Re: PGAL check in 1/25
I usually don't hear back from mine for a couple of days.
@lap018 sorry about the Zika worries. I hope everything is negative
