Let's start with a short intro for those who weren't with us last week, and as a refresher for everyone else. STM, third pregnancy. I had an early miscarriage last month at almost 5w. How far along are you? 7+0
How are you doing? I've been better. I had a doctor appointment yesterday because I suspected I had a yeast infection (I do) and also for spotting (been spotting for 3 days this week and once last week). She did a pelvic exam and couldn't say for sure why I was spotting but assured me the spotting I described sounded normal and to just relax. Easier said than done. I'm kind of freaking out.
When is your next appointment? Monday.
Rant/Rave/Questions? I don't know why I didn't think to ask when she said it but she also saw a "pin prick spot" on my cervix that looked irritated and thought maybe the blood could be coming from that. She wasn't concerned at all. Anyone have any idea what that could be? Or any experience with something similar? I plan to get more info on Monday.
GTKY: What TV shows are you watching? What are your all time favorites? Not watching anything currently. Off the top of my head, some of my favorites are Stranger Things, House, Simpsons, The Walking Dead. I don't know if anyone has ever heard of it but I discovered An Idiot Abroad through Netflix and it's hilarious.
@rainafire77 I haven't made the correlation between how far I jam it up there and how much red I get the next day but some days there's definitely more than on other days. It's not a lot and yeah, just lasts till about lunch and I go through probably two super thin light pantyliners. TMI...only need one but I hate having that stuff just sitting on the pad for hours lol. I think the white suppositories are FAR messier so we do have that going for us...and now I know the difference between the pinky-red-orange tone and blood but man, that first time...sheeesh!
Hi Ladies. So after suffering a loss last month at 4 weeks I am pregnant this month again. While I was trying to remain optimistic and hope for the best I went in for first u/s on Tuesday and they were able to confirm the pregnancy and see a sac (no yolk or heartbeat) and the tech said I am measuring about 4 weeks so not to worry. Yesterday I started bleeding red and passed a clot which I was convinced was the sac. Went to the Dr office and the sonogram showed the sac still in place (still no yolk or heartbeat) and she measured me saying I was just 5 weeks. Basically left the office feeling it could go either way. I have to go back in next week (Tuesday) for a repeat sono and blood work to check my levels. I guess my questions are has anyone had a similar experience? Should they see the yolk at this point? I have a 39 day cycle, my last period was Dec 17, and according to an ovulation kit I ovulated on January 10. So based on my last period I am almost 6 weeks pregnant, however according to my ovulation and cycle length I believe I will most likely be around 5 weeks tomorrow. Not sure if anyone has any optimistic advice or just have had simlar experience. thank you.
@deems83 4 and 5 weeks are so so early to distinguish any type of structures for baby.. so I would take it easy (no heavy lifting, lay around if you can) and definitely pelvic rest (including no orgasms!). Are you having cramping? Bleeding could be caused by several reasons including a SCH. FX for you that baby continues to grow!

@heatherwilson321 I hope it the tp but if not, and I know how freaking impossible it is for us, but try to remember that spotting is super common in early pregnancy.
Thank you @Sugargirl1019! There was no cramping... i feel slight (somewhat sharp pain on my right side at times but mostly when I move quickly). The bleeding stopped within the hour that it started. And def not letting the DH anywhere near that area!
I'm just over here being a crazy person... I've been miserably nauseated for 2 weeks now, even when I break down and take the Zofran my Dr gave me. Last night I tried Unisom/B6 together and feel much better this morning. Great, right? No. Now my crazy self is thinking "what if it isn't the medicine and something is wrong?" Ugh!
@Sugargirl1019 so we've wracking! My ultrasound was Wednesday and I felt like my heart was going to come out of my chest! Then I cried when she said she saw the heartbeat. Good luck!!
@HollyGolightly09 I took it the night before I had a big meeting for work and i definitely felt better with just one dose, so so tired but not nearly as nauseous.
Y'all I'm in rough shape today. My nausea and aversions just kind of vanished last night which got me worried that something is wrong and I woke up today in excruciating neck pain, like I can't move had to cancel my first couple of clients pain....and Tylenol is not cutting it. *whinewhinewhine*

@sableeg I'm right there with ya sista on the symptoms vanishing. My boobs don't really hurt today, I'm not as bloated and I'm not belchy or gassy. Freaks me the F out...I'm right around the date of my loss. I know they come and go so I'm trying to stick with that in my mind!! as for the neck pain...I'd try heating pad, light massage and maybe some peppermint oil or the like to promote relaxation. Just pretend it's Vicodin lol
Thank you ladies for all the support. Procedure went smoothly yesterday, they also doubled up to add in an intramuscular methotextrate shot on top of the gestational sac injection. At the last minute they decided to keep me overnight. Between my usual sleep medication, the Percocet and Ativan kept me comfortable through the initial supplemental progesterone withdrawl cramping and I slept well. No bleeding yet, got additional Percocet and Ativan to last the next two weeks. DH is driving me home now. They will be drawing betas weekly. Follow-up in a month with the surgeon, then the SIS I missed due to this pregnancy, then hoping to be cleared to TTC for at least another year.
@GhanimaAtreides I'm glad you updated us.. I've been thinking about you! I can't imagine how hard this is, but I am thankful the procedure went well and they are keeping you comfortable. I hope DH takes good care of you!
@GhanimaAtreides thank you for the update...been thinking about you too. Glad the procedure went well (sad you had to go through it all but glad that you came out of at least physically ok...) Please take care of and be kind to yourself love ❤️

I swear by Unisom/B6. I got cocky today and then PGAL brain kicked in and i got paranoid about feeling "normal" for too many consecutive hours then nausea kicked back in when getting ready to eat dinner. Blessing and curse.
@lahearn18@amandarene112 The nausea hit again about noon today, so my crazy toned down a bit. I wish it had lasted longer, but I'll take any break I can get! Crazy how well it works.
No growth noted on the follow up ultrasound, no blood flow noted in or out of the uterus yesterday. Had a D&C with my wonderful and very nurturing Doctor. Next step is a fertility referral.
Question- my Doctor says to start trying whenever and if I get pregnant before I get a period they can just monitor me, but I'm wondering if I should hold off a month so they can take their tests that need to be done on the 2nd day of my period. Anyone been through this before and have a recommendation? DH wants to start right away but I'm hesitant (but also so deeply sad that I want to start trying again too)
@eahayes, I would wait a whole regular cycle so they can do testing. I did the whole cycle testing, and now they have me on lovenox, vitamin d, and progesterone as a result of the tests. I also went to a Reproductive Endocrinologist right after my 2nd miscarriage. I'd go now, because typically they do a consultation, and then tell you to call back once your period starts so they can do testing.
@eahayes I too would wait a cycle so that your body can have a period on it's own. My OB put me on the pill for a full month following my D&C to "fluff up" the lining of the uterus in case of scar tissue from the D&C. Went off pill and had a pill induced period...then I had to go a cycle so my body could have a period on it's own...so for me it was two cycles. I agree, will give you time to do testing AND give your body a moment to heal so that it's receptive to the implantation. Hugs!
@eahayes I agree with @heatherwilson321 and @Texafornian - I know all doctors are different but mine was very strict about giving my body rest after my loss. Otherwise she was worried about RPL. Moving to the RE made it so easy because we were following a plan that included some procedures during which we pretty much had to prevent (without BCP). So I was "forced" to give my body about a two month break during testing. I really think I needed it. I hope this helps, dear, and please know we are all thinking about you, praying for you and cheering for your success

Nov. 2016: Hysteroscopy & H's SA both great results Dec. 2016 - Follistim + TI BFP #2 12/25/16 | Natural MC 2/13/17 | False BFP leads to D&C 4/20/17 | Emergency D&C + hysteroscopy 5/16/17 The road probably ends here
@eahayes I would also wait until after you have a period on your own. For me, it is because you had the D&C and if there's any retained tissue (chances are there is not) but if there were, it could complicate things. It is my understanding that trying again right away after a CP is not an issue. I am sorry for your loss
@eahayes I am so sorry you're going through this... take care of yourself. As for trying again... We waited until my next "normal" cycle. My Dr was pretty insistent on it for three reasons: 1. She wanted to track my HCG down to zero... this actually only took a couple of weeks, but she said she has seen it take a month. 2. She wanted my lining to get built back up. 3. My cycles have always been extremely regular, and she wanted to see if they went back to that regularity or if they got a little wonky. (Which could have been a sign of something else being wrong.)
Luckily, the HCG went down pretty quickly, my cycle started back very normally, and we got pregnant the first time I ovulated afterward. Good luck!
@eahayes My doctor told me the same after each of our losses. I didn't have a D&C though, I am scarily regular, 2 of my MC lined up exactly with when the next cycle would have been if i didn't miss the 1st one. We werent TTC, but we did have sex after I stopped bleeding. It helped with the healing process, kind of reconnecting. But we didnt actually TTC again until after the next cycle. For me it was more I wasn't ready yet mentally to try again. So if he wants to "do it" and you are ok with it then do it, but i would hold off on TTC until next cycle and get all your tests done in the mean time that's what we did, and ended up conceiving again 2 cycles after our loss without any assistance. We were ready to start IUI soon and then boom BFP. Good luck with everything!

Rant/Rave/Questions. Rant: I really wish my boss would stop eating fish at work it makes me so gaggy, and my co-worker needs a new toothpaste, cuz her IS NOT working.
GTKY: What TV shows are you watching? What are your all time favorites? I have never been a TV person, but for some reason all I'm watching is a bunch of true crime stuff lol
@lahearn18 My cycles are scarily regular, too.. I could usually predict them down to a time of day. My Dr was very interested to see if my body would treat the MC like a regular cycle and carry on from there... it did. Oddly, it has been somewhat of a comfort (albeit small) that my body typically does what it should.
@HollyGolightly09 Yeah, i mean i guess it means our bodies know what it's supposed to do. I kind of took it as it must've just been the wrong line up with the MC, as in nothing I could have done, because my body took care of it by itself. Strange things are bodies are. But here we both are still pregnant! I am currently the furthest along still having symptoms I've ever been. So here's to consistent nausea fatigue and tender breasts.
