Let's start with a short intro for those who weren't with us last week, and as a refresher for everyone else.
**hi ladies! I'm 43 and this is my 3rd pregnancy. I have an almost 2.5yo DD and I had a loss last April at 8w (baby stopped growing at 6.5 right after our 1st ultrasound).
I live near Houston & moved here 2yrs ago after living in Los Angeles for 20yrs.

    How far along are you?
    **6 + 3 but measuring 6+1

    How are you doing?
**feeling incredibly bloated and chubby already...thankfully no nausea. Tired. Mentally...still taking it day by day but feeling a smidgeon better after seeing a heartbeat.

    When is your next appointment?
**2/1 a week from today for the official dating ultrasound etc. The one I had this week was to check on stuff after I spotted.

    Rant/Rave/Questions?
**rant...wtf booty and thighs?!? I've been eating more but not THAT much more and not horrible stuff. My pants feel snug in the upper leg/waist. Whaaah. Already putting on some lbs...

GTKY:  What TV shows are you watching? What are your all time favorites?
**just finished The Following and working in The Crown. Also can't help but to grab popcorn and watch the train wreck that is the Bachelor. All time faves: Breaking Bad, Six Feet Under and Gilmore Girls.

This is my second pregnancy... I had a miscarriage on Halloween at 8 weeks. We had seen a heartbeat at 6+2, but was measuring 3 days behind and heart rate was on the low end of normal.

    How far along are you?
    7+6

    How are you doing?
Not great. This day in my last pregnancy was the day I spent sobbing because I just KNEW something was wrong, despite everyone's insistence that brown spotting was normal. I was cramping last night and early this morning (similar to period cramps), and have started feeling less and less sure everything will be okay.

    When is your next appointment?
Not until 2/17 unless I call in a sheer panic before then. (Not outside the realm of possibility)

    Rant/Rave/Questions?
    Nothing really...

GTKY:  What TV shows are you watching? What are your all time favorites?
The last week I've watched literally nothing... I come home and go to bed. We have been watching This is Us. All time favorites... Gilmore Girls, One Tree Hill, Friends

going to a 1st birthday party this weekend for my husbands coworkers son. It's really an adult type party and there will be an open bar. We don't want to tell anyone we are pregnant yet, so it's going to be interesting to disguise it.

GTKY:  What TV shows are you watching? What are your all time favorites?
Black Mirror, This is Us, The Bachelor. Also been binge watching Supernatural. Can't wait for How to Get Away with Murder to start back up again.

I'm 26 and dh and I have been ttc since oct15. First bfp in June, loss at 6+2 based on o date, but betas suggested the baby stopped growing before then. I was on summer holidays not in my country of residence so I never had an us or appointment before the loss.

How far along are you? 5+2

How are you doing? good so far. No spotting which is great for my pgal brain. Pinching and cramping in the ute quite a bit, but I'll take that over spotting because at least I can convince myself that it's just my ute growing.

When is your next appointment? 15 feb in THREE lonnnnnng weeks (ok, I'm being dramatic...but it feels like forever!)

    Rant/Rave/Questions? nope

GTKY:  What TV shows are you watching? What are your all time favorites? fav = downtown abbey, jimmy, and everybody loves Raymond. I watch those on repeat lol

  • Let's start with a short intro for those who weren't with us last week, and as a refresher for everyone else.
MC last September at 12w, but baby measured 8w.

How far along are you? 4+4 based on O date

How are you doing? Generally OK, but had a rough moody day yesterday. Some cramping here and there (freaks me out, I had it early on with my first pregnancy too before things went south, so trying to stay positive), boobs slightly sensitive. This morning was the first that my gag reflex kicked in while eating, but no nausea. Last time I didn't get much nausea either, just the gag reflex.

When is your next appointment? Feb 13th. They want to see me at 8-10w, but I'll be just over 7. I O late (CD22 this time, which is in the early side), so I'm within their range based on LMP. I didn't bother to correct them since I'm anxious and maybe I'll just get to see the LO again soon after that!

Rant/Rave/Questions? I sorted out my calendar at work/home for the next few months, and it looks like it's going to be crazy busy. Between relatives visiting, going to see my niece for her first birthday, 2 conferences to make posters for, and a visiting scientist coming in for two weeks, at least I'll be a little distracted. DH anxiously wants to plan a vacation in May, and couldn't stop talking about it yesterday. I was so tired I just couldn't make any decisions. We definitely need to do it, but part of me is overwhelmed with it all, and part of me wants to see how things go this first tri.

GTKY:  What TV shows are you watching? What are your all time favorites?  This Is Us and rewatching Gilmore Girls. I love Dancing With The Stars when it's on. All time favorites include Friends, Lost and Alias.

Let's start with a short intro for those who weren't with us last week, and as a refresher for everyone else.
My husband and I have been TTC for a year. We’ve had 3 losses: 1MC at around 6 weeks in Jan 2016,  a MMC in April 2016 at 8 weeks but baby’s heartbeat stopped at 6w1d and another MMC in Oct 2016 at 9 weeks but baby’s heart beat stopped at 6w2d.

    How far along are you?
    8 weeks 4 days

    How are you doing?

I have a horrible cold that I just can’t seem to shake.

    When is your next appointment?
Monday will be my last appointment with my current doctor then he graduates me back to my OBGYN. I'm going to miss my weekly ultrasounds!

    Rant/Rave/Questions?
On Monday my progesterone levels dropped to 15 so my doctor upped my progesterone to 3 times a day. Its worth it of course but I really hate that stuff.

GTKY:  What TV shows are you watching? What are your all time favorites?

Shameless, Game Of Thrones, NCIS, Law & Order SVU, all home improvement shows. My all-time favorite is Friends

This is my 3rd PG. 1st was a healthy DD, 2nd ended in loss at 14w- baby had T13 and holporocencaphaly.

    How far along are you?
    8w

    How are you doing?
okay, today is my first ultrasound. PG symptoms have remained constant but of course I still have a bad feeling.

    When is your next appointment?
    1st ultrasound is today

    Rant/Rave/Questions?
    Nada

GTKY:  What TV shows are you watching? What are your all time favorites?
currently binge watching shameless, middle of season 2. I regularly watch TGIT and this is us. And I love most reality TV.

    and thanks!! @Texafornian

  • Let's start with a short intro for those who weren't with us last week, and as a refresher for everyone else. MC at 9ish weeks in October 2016

How far along are you? 5+4

How are you doing? not good today, I've had brown spotting since last night and I'm freaking out, I'm pretty much convinced that this is the beginning of the end. I know this has been discussed before but if anyone has any stories to tell about having brown spotting and it turning out to be ok I would love to hear them!

When is your next appointment? Feb 28th, if I make it that far. My OB likes to wait till 10 weeks to see patients, but the good news if I get that far is that he's an MFM and likes to see his patients super frequently and do ultrasounds at every appointment.

Rant/Rave/Questions? I'm at work and I can't stop crying, which is really awkward because alongside the obvious awkwardness of my colleagues seeing this whenever they invite themselves into my office (I have the door closed) I'm interviewing new employees this week. Need to figure out a way to pull myself together.

GTKY:  What TV shows are you watching? What are your all time favorites? currently watching repeats of a lot of shows I've seen before (mostly cooking shows and real life murder mysteries), my all time favorites are the sopranos and the west wing.
  • @metrogirl I'm sorry you're having a rough day... I've been crying at work, too.

Let's start with a short intro for those who weren't with us last week, and as a refresher for everyone else.
Two losses, one at 12 weeks in 2009, and a chemical pregnancy in May 2016. We have been TTC for 4 years.

    How far along are you?
Based on my last period, 7+3, but that may change.

    How are you doing?
I'm insanely nauseated. Just so much nausea and bloat.

    When is your next appointment?
I go in today at 11:30 pacific time for my second beta draw, and then we'll schedule an appointment based on those numbers.

    Rant/Rave/Questions?
So, a little background. Went in at 7+1 on Monday for a dating ultrasound, and they couldn't see anything, possibly due to my severely tilted uterus, possibly because I'm earlier along than we thought. They did a beta test that day, and my numbers came back very strong, and very typical for a 7 week pregnancy- 29,490, if I'm remembering correctly. I am so, so, so nervous about my second blood draw today. If the numbers are good, we'll make another appointment and carry on as if everything is normal. If the numbers aren't good...I don't even want to think about that. I'm just really nervous and nauseated right now, so it's not my best morning.

GTKY:  What TV shows are you watching? What are your all time favorites?
We just started The Newsroom this week, and so far it's really good! We're also slowing watching through The X Files, and I'm watching This Is Us, The Bachelor, and The Librarians. My all-time favorites are Dr. Who, The West Wing, Firefly, 30 Rock, and Bob's Burgers.

ETA: typing is hard. I'm blaming the nausea.

Let's start with a short intro for those who weren't with us last week, and as a refresher for everyone else. I'm a Navy wife currently in Florida. I've had 3 MC - @ 8wks in June 2015, @ 5wks in January 2016, and @ 8wks in October 2016. I'm on progesterone suppositories, and my husband left 2 days before BFP and doesn't return until the end of the 1st Trimester (lucky bastard, lol).

How far along are you? 6wks 4days or 6wks 3days depends on the app...my ticker change is on Sundays (due date 9/17/17)

How are you doing? So nauseated it isn't funny. The thought of eating animal meat is an instant gag reflex moment - and I am not a vegetarian, i am more of a meatatarian. And i am exhausted.

When is your next appointment? 1st U/S is scheduled for Febuary 8th!

Rant/Rave/Questions? I am so struggling at work right now. I have stocked up my snack drawer and am constantly nibbling, but our 1hr staff meeting earlier i could barely keep it together. Any hints on keeping it together at work?

GTKY:  What TV shows are you watching? What are your all time favorites?  I have a lot of shows I am watching right now...gotta love the DVR, but I honestly haven't been watching lately (so it's building up for a good binge) I've been reading lately.
I am recording/watching Grimm, Lucifer, American Housewife, Bull, This is Us, The Good Place, Vikings (fun fact, I am a descendant of Rollo), Designated Survivor, and I am so excited for Grey's Anatomy and How to Get Away with Murder to start TOMORROW!
All time fave? Has got to be Grey's Anatomy! I've watched it since Season 1 Episode 1. Also, Dexter. I miss that show. I watched it religiously from start to finish also. And I'm a Game of Thrones nut, waiting very impatiently for this year's season.
  • @cmar1006 at the open bar, order Sprite & Cranberries! I had an event to go to during my last pregnancy and i told the bartender on the down low, hey i'm knocked up no one knows yet, i'm going to be drinking mocktails all night, cover me? I tipped him really well and from the rest of the night I didnt have to put in an order he just made it and handed it to me.

    Yes, yes it is!  <3

@HollyGolightly09 hugs mama. Hang in there!

@metrogirl I had brown spotting last week at 5+4 as well and went in on Monday for an ultrasound. ALL was normal and LO measured two days behind with a strong little beat. Try to breathe...I know it's hard not stress though (I clearly stressed seeing as I immediately went for an US! But brown spotting is apparently normal at this stage!)

@amandarene112 I have faith that's it's just your silly uterus playing tricks on you (the bish!)...GREAT sign that your hcg was so high. FX for some stress relief today. Xo

@lahearn18 I had the protein aversion last time...the thought of touching, smelling seeing chicken (especially raw :s) made me want to crawl in a corner. So far the only thing bringing in the gag reflux is cigarette smoke! I was leaving a movie theater last night and some asshat in front of me exhaled and I about choked and barfed in the bushes lol

  • Sorry ladies, I'm a little too frazzled to do the full update format.

Just had the ultrasound at advanced reproduction. They sent me to the hospital's ultrasound clinic for a more detailed ultrasound to determine if I can continue with this implantation placement. Basically, 5mm or more from the tube opening is ok, and 3mm is the hard cutoff (termination necessary) for most radiologist readings. Baby is implanted 3.5-4.2mm away. So if they see the uterine horn bulging at all (threatening rupture) they will put methotextrate directly in the sac via catheter. If it's not bulging, I'll need to get ultrasounds every few days and will be on rupture-watch.

    (Cornual ectopic)
  • @GhanimaAtreides Wow, that is scary. Please keep us updated, you'll be in my prayers!

Oh my goodness! Prayers prayers prayers. I honestly could not imagine what is running through your mind/what you are going through. I hope all is well and you don't have to terminate. So many prayers.
  • @metrogirl my mom BLED, like, red blood, when she was KU with my brother. He just turned 21 years old. FX all is normal with your brown spotting. I do understand that it messes with your mind though and of course we want any spotting, no matter the colour, to stop and never come back!

@ghanimaatreides wow, that sounds very scary for you. I really hope that everything is ok with your LO and it's implanted far enough that you don't have to terminate or worry about rupturing any longer!

  • Let's start with a short intro for those who weren't with us last week, and as a refresher for everyone else.
I'm new, so hello :)  DH and I have been married 8 years.  We have 3 living children, 7, 5 and 2.  We had 2 chemicals spring and then a MMC at 10 weeks the week of Thanksgiving.

How far along are you?  4+4

How are you doing?  Physically, I've been dealing with cramping the past week.  A little dizziness here and there, along with some intermittent nausea, but I'm chalking that up to being on progesterone.  Mentally, I'm  since my betas last week showed a doubling time of 28 hours, so I'm a lot less anxious now.  The next hurdle will be the u/s scheduled for Feb 13th.

When is your next appointment?  We have an u/s on Feb 13th, but no OB appointment until afterwards.  Which is backwards of what they usually do, but since I had labs done and gave my complete history back in the end of October, we don't need to repeat all that

    Rant/Rave/Questions?

GTKY:  What TV shows are you watching? What are your all time favorites?  I'm binge watching Gilmore Girls during the day while I work, for what is like the 3rd time in two years lol.  I'm a dork and love Glee also.  Current shows we keep up on are TGIT's, Blacklist, Criminal Minds and This is Us
  • Thank you ladies. Hospital ultrasound clinic cleared us to leave while we wait on "the phone call" from one of the docs at Advanced Reproduction. (They were probably at lunch when the chief radiologist called). I asked the tech if it looked like I would rupture today; she said not likely, but definitely go straight to the ER for any pain. Hard to tell with a giant cyst on my ovary and the gestational sac so close it photobombed all my ovary ultrasound shots,
  • @GhanimaAtreides so sorry you have to go through this. Thinking about you!

We just had our ultrasound and we got to see baby's heartbeat! Tech didn't say anything else. Baby is measuring at 8w6d instead of 8w, so my new due date is 8/29. Guess that makes me an august mom now  :| haven't decided if I'm switching yet. Also I'm pretty excited I got another week down in my PG, much closer to 2nd tri!

  • Both ultrasounds confirmed my uterine wall had thinned to 3.5mm, gearing up towards rupture. They're going to put me under to terminate tomorrow. Ultrasound guided methotextrate to the sac only, then send me home to miscarry sometime in the next 2 weeks. I just had pre-OP labs. Just... this sucks. Odds of 3 miscarriages in a row = 1%. Odds of cornual ectopic = 2% of all ectopics. If I could catch a break... that would be awesome. SMH
  • @GhanimaAtreides I am just so sorry. High chance I'm on my 3rd mc in a row right now so, while every story is different, my heart breaks knowing a teeny bit of the pain and disbelief you're feeling. I'm thinking of you
