Re: Introduction
Hi there ladies,
Based on my LMP my EDD is August 23. Friday is my first ultrasound and I'm so nervous but also excited. Wishing you all a healthy and happy 9 months!
I'm high risk due to previous losses & infertility struggles, plus advanced maternal age. Should be an adventure!
DS: 10/11/14
DS: 10/11/14
I just realized I've been commenting and never did an intro! I was anxiously waiting for them to open this board weeks ago too!
I live in Maryland with my husband and 2 boys, 11 and almost 2 (January 13) I joined TB when I was pregnant with my 2nd, but wasn't very active.
I got my BFP on 11/26- my due date based on my LMP is 7/30 ( my mom's bday
Looking forward to the next few months with you all during this wonderful adventure!
I'm Ashley from Vancouver BC. I'm 33 and my husband is 43. Married for two and a half years. EDD is August 20th. 4 days before my birthday! This is our first
I know I'm late to the party, but it still feels "too good to be true" most days. Anyway, H and I got married in June of 2015 and started TTC shortly after. Long story short, we ended up having to do IVF due to MFI. We were extremely fortunate to be successful on our first FET and I am now 7+2 with our first (EDD: 8/22). Looking forward to getting to know everyone!
My name is Cyndi, 30 years old, and I'm a 3rd time mama-to-be. I have an 8 year old boy and a little girl who will be 5 in a week and a half!
I am a new work-at-home mom, after working 3 jobs for the past year, so I'm excited to get lots of time with this new baby!
According to my LMP I am due August 20th. I have been to my first appointment and so far everything looks good! At 6w4d my betas were 64,811 and progesterone was 15.57. We have an ultrasound scheduled for next Friday!
This has been my hardest pregnancy so far. I bragged about how wonderful my last two were...and with this one I've been nauseous all day long for a full month.
I'm an avid CrossFitter and was excited about having a healthy and fit pregnancy. The nausea has put a damper on that so far, but I'm hoping the second trimester will bring a better-feeling me! :-)
I look forward to gettong to know you ladies!
I was hoping to hang out here too until September opens up - I haven't gotten an official due date (too early to see anything but a egg and yolk sac on the u/s so my doctor wanted me to come back for further dating, everything normal though...) but we're thinking EDD 9/6/17 - but it doesn't look like that thread is open yet (?) hope y'all don't mind...
This is my second pregnancy, first hopefully live birth. This is my fiance's first pregnancy. We've been together almost 5 years now. I'm 30, he's 28. I got my BFP 1/4/17 on our 4th engagement anniversary. Our EDD is 9/6/17 and that is the 5th anniversary of our meeting. Kismet I'm hoping. Praying for a good outcome this time around.
I have PCOS so I didn't know when to test. We weren't really trying, however we both really want children down the road. I tested about a week past when my period was due - or about 19 dpo and 4 HPTs came up right away. b/w confirmed, and had the u/s today. I'm 5 weeks - & still in shock...
I was hoping to improve my health before it happened (I'm currently in a wheelchair for the last few years for back problems, but the doctors are hopeful I can recover. Tbh this gives me even more incentive to work hard at physical therapy). Been having some moderate AF like cramping but they said that's normal. I just underwent gastric bypass in March 2016, and already lost a lot of weight. The doctors are again not that worried though since it's almost been a year since that surgery.
Just hoping everything goes okay this time around. Nice to "meet" and congrats to everyone

I've been a SAHM since DS was born (21months), had planned to go back to work, but couldn't do it. I'm very lucky and blessed to be able to do what I do and to have a hardworking supportive SO. I am due at the end of August and this is my first pregnancy after 2+ years TTC. We are very excited but also cautiously optimistic knowing the risks of the first trimester. Anyone have advice on how not to worry during this first tri?

I'm Jaclyn, 27 and live in Sydney, Australia but originally from the Washington, DC area. This is our 2nd baby, we had our first in Houston, TX so it will definitely be an adventure having a baby in a (foreign for me) country. I had our daughter the day after my due date so I'm not sure if I will be an August or September Mum. Going to the dr late next week for confirmed EDD. Bit of a happy surprise as we weren't going to actively try for a 2nd until our daughter was at least a year but we couldn't be happier!

I have been wanting to jump in here and there but realized I hadn't introduced myself yet, and thought it would only be proper to do so first.
PS I know my ticker probably says I am a bajillion weeks pregnant. I am on mobile most of the time and have no earthly idea how to fix it via phone... So...
Hi!
I'm 29 years old pregnant with my 2nd. My ds is 4.5 year son old. According to LMP my due date is 26th of August. My son will be 5 and starting school around the time of the new baby, so I'm a bit nervous with the overwhelming changes for him. I have my first appointment and ultrasound on Thursday, so DH and I are excited to know everything is going smoothly. I come from a family of multiples, and am a bit anxious(but excited) for that as a possibility. My son was born about 3 weeks early due to showing signs of preeclampsia, so I was induced. However I gave birth naturally and the only main complication was low iron levels and a high level of blood loss. (I've always been borderline anemic!) so that's a worry this time around too.
Also, my job is intense standing/lifting 8 hour shifts.
