Re: Introduction

  • Hi there ladies,

Based on my LMP my EDD is August 23.  Friday is my first ultrasound and I'm so nervous but also excited.  Wishing you all a healthy and happy 9 months!

  • Hi everyone!  I'm currently due with #3 on August 6 (per an ultrasound).  Got a surprise BFP on 12/17, so we're still freaking out a bit over how we're going to manage things with another baby.

I'm high risk due to previous losses & infertility struggles, plus advanced maternal age.  Should be an adventure!

  • Hey Mommas!
I just realized I've been commenting and never did an intro! I was anxiously waiting for them to open this board weeks ago too!
I live in Maryland with my husband and 2 boys, 11 and almost 2 (January 13) I joined TB when I was pregnant with my 2nd, but wasn't very active.
I got my BFP on 11/26- my due date based on my LMP is 7/30 ( my mom's bday :) ) but based on sonogram it's 8/5 (my grandmother's bday :) )
Looking forward to the next few months with you all during this wonderful adventure!

    Hey everyone,

I'm Ashley from Vancouver BC. I'm 33 and my husband is 43. Married for two and a half years.  EDD is August 20th.  4 days before my birthday! This is our first
  • Hi!  My name is Hallie!  This is my 3rd baby and was a HUGE surprise for both of us (I just got done getting rid of my baby stuff  ).  My EED is August 16.
  • Hey! I am due 8/1 with #2 (ds1 is 14 months). Initially I thought I was due in July so I was lurking there for a while! Excited to get to know everyone.

    Expecting DS#1 November 2015
  • Hey girls!

My name is Cyndi, 30 years old, and I'm a 3rd time mama-to-be. I have an 8 year old boy and a little girl who will be 5 in a week and a half!

I am a new work-at-home mom, after working 3 jobs for the past year, so I'm excited to get lots of time with this new baby!

According to my LMP I am due August 20th. I have been to my first appointment and so far everything looks good! At 6w4d my betas were 64,811 and progesterone was 15.57. We have an ultrasound scheduled for next Friday!

This has been my hardest pregnancy so far. I bragged about how wonderful my last two were...and with this one I've been nauseous all day long for a full month.

I'm an avid CrossFitter and was excited about having a healthy and fit pregnancy. The nausea has put a damper on that so far, but I'm hoping the second trimester will bring a better-feeling me! :-)

I look forward to gettong to know you ladies!
  • Hi everyone,

I was hoping to hang out here too until September opens up - I haven't gotten an official due date (too early to see anything but a egg and yolk sac on the u/s so my doctor wanted me to come back for further dating, everything normal though...) but we're thinking EDD 9/6/17 - but it doesn't look like that thread is open yet (?) hope y'all don't mind...

This is my second pregnancy, first hopefully live birth. This is my fiance's first pregnancy. We've been together almost 5 years now. I'm 30, he's 28. I got my BFP 1/4/17 on our 4th engagement anniversary. Our EDD is 9/6/17 and that is the 5th anniversary of our meeting. Kismet I'm hoping. Praying for a good outcome this time around.

I have PCOS so I didn't know when to test. We weren't really trying, however we both really want children down the road. I tested about a week past when my period was due - or about 19 dpo and 4 HPTs came up right away. b/w confirmed, and had the u/s today. I'm 5 weeks - & still in shock...

I was hoping to improve my health before it happened (I'm currently in a wheelchair for the last few years for back problems, but the doctors are hopeful I can recover. Tbh this gives me even more incentive to work hard at physical therapy). Been having some moderate AF like cramping but they said that's normal. I just underwent gastric bypass in March 2016, and already lost a lot of weight. The doctors are again not that worried though since it's almost been a year since that surgery.

Just hoping everything goes okay this time around.  Nice to "meet" and congrats to everyone

  • I'm 32 and DH is 31. If all goes well, this will be our 3rd. We have a 4 year old DD and 2 year old DS, so team green for now. This has been a journey, I'm PGAL with an m/c in August & January. Seeing an awesome MFM now, so hoping all continues well. First 2 u/s were good, so far so good. Due date is August 16th.
  • @kycade3013 don't you hate having to start sentences with things like "if all goes well". I miss the confidence I had my first pregnancy before my loss. Ugh. PGAL brain sucks!
  • Hi everyone,

New to all this even though this is my second pregnancy. I have a 2yo son and I'm cautiously excited about this pregnancy. My first appointment is on monday when I will
  • ... be 9+1. I'm always an anxious person but especially during pregnancy.  Nice to meet everyone!

  • Hey ladies and all the August babies!
I'm due 8/28 with our newest baby and also have a 2 year old little boy (I was a N14 momma but he born a few days early and made himself a O14 baby). I look forward to getting to know you guys on this crazy journey :)

Hi mommas! My name is Destiny, I'm 30 yrs old and currently pregnant with number 2! I would have intro'd sooner had it not taken me this long to remember my email/pw combo! EDD aug 12 based on LMP and first ob appointment tomorrow! I relied on my Doppler last pregnancy to ease my crazy mom anxiety (now worse than ever) and just heard number 2's fhb chugging along this morning for the first time. What a sweet sound! 9w1d today.
I've been a SAHM since DS was born (21months), had planned to go back to work, but couldn't do it. I'm very lucky and blessed to be able to do what I do and to have a hardworking supportive SO.  Looking forward to getting to know you ladies. Hopefully will be kissing the morning sickness goodbye soon, it's kicking my butt! Why did they take zofran away?? A happy and healthy 9 months to all! Congrats!
  • Hi I am Katina from Louisiana this is baby number 2 I was pretty active on the May 2013 boards my EDD is Aug 29th I have been pretty miserable this time around as well but praying it gets better and i know it will be worth it.
  • Hi everyone! I'm posting here because this is likely when I'll deliver! I'm due July 25 with my second little nugget and I'm so excited to be completing our family! My son was 2 weeks late so I can only assume I'll have this one in August! Looking forward to getting to know everyone!!!
  • Hi all! I was a lurker with my June 2015 baby, but thought I might try and be a little more involved this time.

estimated due date: we'll, I haven't been to the dr. yet, but according to my calculations the due date should be somewhere around August 28th.

BFP date: December 22nd! I tried to wait until Christmas Eve, but I was almost positive I was prego and couldn't wait any longer!

I have one DS who is 18 months old. I am a work from home (part time) stay at home mom. My job is 100% remote which works out really well for me. I'm a little bit nervous about working with two kiddos.
  • Hey, @dallasmommy! I live in the DFW area, too! Little town about 16 miles NW of Fort Worth. Heard of Azle? Lol!

    Glad you're here!
  • @AdvoCyndi30 I haven't heard of it, but I'm semi new to the area. I'll have to look it up! Good to know there are other moms close to home :)
  • Hi everyone!!!

My name is Jessica and I am 9 weeks along and due on August 11th which happens to be my daughters 5th birthday!!! We had a loss in March so I have been hesitant to accept how happy I am but going into the third month, I am beyond excited for baby number 2!!! I am still very close to my bumpies from Aug 2012 and cannot wait to get to know you all as well!!!

  • @LivLew same, pretty overwhelmed!  have you found any good resources for moms to be and future babies in the area?
  • Hi everyone,
My name is Kristin and I am 7w3d with my first  I am due August 26th. Looking forward to chatting with you all.
  • Hey everyone...I'm a newbie to this whole pregnancy forum thing...I'm expecting again with my last pregnancy being in 2005!!...things have changed quite a bit...and it's amazing how much you forget/block from your memory...so I feel like I'm new to the whole pregnancy thing too!!...lol...

it was a HUGE surprise to get that BFP...but my boyfriend and I (and all 3 of our girls from previous relationships) are completely excited!!...we will have a new family member by Aug. 10, 2017...wow!!...and we thought puberty with 3 girls would be tough enough!...sometimes the universe is just comical...

I noticed several of you mentioned Georgia...I'm a Peach too!!...glad to meet y'all!...can't wait to get to know ya...
  • Hi everyone!

I am due at the end of August and this is my first pregnancy after 2+ years TTC. We are very excited but also cautiously optimistic knowing the risks of the first trimester. Anyone have advice on how not to worry during this first tri?

Looking forward to this journey with y'all!

  • Hi Ladies!

I'm Jaclyn, 27 and live in Sydney, Australia but originally from the Washington, DC area. This is our 2nd baby, we had our first in Houston, TX so it will definitely be an adventure having a baby in a (foreign for me) country. I had our daughter the day after my due date so I'm not sure if I will be an August or September Mum. Going to the dr late next week for confirmed EDD. Bit of a happy surprise as we weren't going to actively try for a 2nd until our daughter was at least a year but we couldn't be happier!

  • Hi all! I got my BFP on 12/22 and baby #2 is due on Aug 31. So I've just managed to squeak into the Aug 2017 group. I'm high-risk because I'm heterozygous for Factor V Leiden and had a DVT 9 years ago. Also.... I'll be 40 when I have this baby, so there's that.

Hi everyone! I'm a first time mom and totally clueless on all of this pregnancy stuff. I'm 20 years old and I'm 8 weeks pregnant today. My due date is August 25th, and I found out I was pregnant on Christmas! That was a bit of a surprise to me and my husband but we're both so excited and can't wait to meet our little raspberry!
  • @IvorySoapGirl
I am also heterozygous factor V and taking lovenox injections both last pregnancy and now this one.
I had a massive pulmonary embolism in 2007.

Hello all! I'm Tara. I'm 26 years old and a South Dakota resident for life. My husband and I have been married for about 3.5 years and we have a 19 month old son. My due date is August 2nd! Congratulations to all of you ladies!
Ya for August babies in South Dakota!!   I am due the 6th!
    .
  • I figured I would go ahead and come out of the shadows where I have been hiding my dirty lurker self. DH and I have been married for 6 1/2 years have an EDD of August 13th with our second.  DS is 2 and came on his own on his due date (well have to see if this baby is so prompt).

I have been wanting to jump in here and there but realized I hadn't introduced myself yet, and thought it would only be proper to do so first.

PS I know my ticker probably says I am a bajillion weeks pregnant. I am on mobile most of the time and have no earthly idea how to fix it via phone... So...

    Hi!

  • I'm due at the end of August probably 8/29 with my third.  I got my BFP on 12/18.  *TW* I'm super nervous because I have a SCH this time around and I had an ectopic last January.  I'm hoping this time I get to bring home my August baby.

  • Hello ladies!

I'm 29 years old pregnant with my 2nd. My ds is 4.5 year son old. According to LMP my due date is 26th of August. My son will be 5 and starting school around the time of the new baby, so I'm a bit nervous with the overwhelming changes for him. I have my first appointment and ultrasound on Thursday, so DH and I are excited to know everything is going smoothly. I come from a family of multiples, and am a bit anxious(but excited) for that as a possibility. My son was born about 3 weeks early due to showing signs of preeclampsia, so I was induced. However I gave birth naturally and the only main complication was low iron levels and a high level of blood loss. (I've always been borderline anemic!) so that's a worry this time around too.

Also, my job is intense standing/lifting 8 hour shifts.
